This bra is pretty nice. I ordered it in the pink dot print, and was disappointed that the pattern didn't really look the same as it did on the website. The top is this kind of weird thick lace material (can't really describe it) that is not itchy, but it shows up under thinner shirts. The underwire is kind of poky under the armpit and it gives me kind of a square shape, but overall I really like this bra.
I've been dying to get myself a front-closure, racerback push-up bra for summer. And what better time than during Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale I wasn't sure how I would do with a 32DD since I normally wear a DDD in VS. But the last 2 Very Sexy bras I bought (one of them being a front-closure) seemed too wide in the cup for my girls and I wasn't getting that extreme cleavage I was after.
So I really wanted to try the DD. And....It fits like a glove!!! I was very surprised! It may be just a teensy tiny bit too shallow, by ...like a hair! But it's barely noticeable. I thought for sure I would be quadboobing or falling out. But it lays just right, no cutting in (unless I really scoop n swoop). What I really like, the most, is the tightness of the band. It's perfect for my 27" ribcage. The wire width is perfect and the cups don't feel gigantic like they do in the DDD.
I love this bra! Perfect summer!! I love the strappy back and the pretty butterfly colorway!! I even got the matching thongs (so adorable)!! I def recommend this bra! It's so comfy, supportive and super sexy! A combination I can only seem to get with VS! Read more 113 more words
The only thing I really like about this bra is it offers great support WITH straps and moderate support without straps, making it pretty versatile. However, it doesn't fit me terribly well, and as a strapless bra requires constant tugging up to maintain any sort of lift/keep the band from slipping. I think part of this is due to the weight of the padding, and the fact that it's a VS bra and therefore does not fit me as well as I'd like (they don't care 30DD or 28E, which I think is closer to my actual size)
Surprisingly enough, I like this bra precisely because of the separation that looks so dubious (at least, that I was skeptical about as a slightly small/pointy boob-haver) but this is one of the only bras I own where the gore (admittedly there isn't much of one, it's more like a padded underwire) fits flat against my sternum. Gives good lift and support but the racerback-style straps are a MAJOR pain in the ass. Unfortunately if I wear it with the straps attached normally (straight-on), they are WAY too long.
This bra fits good in the band, but the cup is too small and gives me pretty noticeable quadboob effect. The quality is great- it has so far stood up to a lot of wear. My cleavage looks nice, but it would look better if the cup was the proper size. I would say that compared to other VS bras, the cup on this bra is probably more like a D. This is not to be confused with their new "miraculous" push up bra, this one is different.
Believe it or not, VS does make DDD bras. I just got this bra the other day (had to order it online, as it is not in the catalog or in stores) and I LOVE IT. It doesn't look like anything special, but the fit is perfect, and it looks great under tight shirts. My only complaint is that the straps are kind of slippy, even when they're as small as possible. It might have to do with the satin-y fabric. This bra comes with removable rhinestone "V"s attached to the straps, and it really adds a touch of pizazz to an ordinary black bra.
Only worn a select few times. The strap size (32) was too small for my ribcage and it dug into my skin when I wore it. The cup size (AA) was perfect for my itty bitties....however it was just too uncomfortable for me to bare. Definitely for someone with small breasts and a stick like figure or rather more slender torso. It is in perfect/ new condition and has only been washed with cold water on the hand wash machines cycle. Hung to dry.
