*I purchased this bra knowing full well it was too big in the band. I plan to take the band in with other alterations to fit.*
-Review for #DU2-Cherry Blossoms W/Foil Lace.
This bra has a very soft lightly padded molded cup covered with a satin/polyester type fabric. The band consists of the same fabric both inside and outside the band with elastic between the two panels along the top and the bottom. There are two rows of hooks and three columns for the back clasp. The shoulder strap is made up of three skinny strips of elastic joined together except for the last 5 inches near where it joins ...to the cup. At that point they are three individual skinny pieces of elastic. The back of the straps attach to the band with a clasp that can be undone and the straps crossed. For this pattern there are dark pink cherry blossoms on a baby pink background with a white/silver foil like lace that goes from the side panel onto the cup. There is a silver bow on the center gore. It is such a beautiful bra and I get a little quad-boob so aside from taking in the band I will plan to take in the center gore to make it more open on the top. This will be more of a “Sexy Time” bra.
Pros: lots of support without a uniboob effect. I love that there are cups and underwire, and the band is tight enough that it won't move when I'm exercising.
Cons: the cups seem too small - they don't contain my breast tissue on my side.
This was the wrong bra size for me - I bought this years ago before I knew how to get sized, and was completely oblivious that I had increased a cup size or two. When I bought this bra, I was probably a 30D or 32C.
This bra was very comfortable and it would have been one of my favorites except for one thing - I hated the straps. The convertible hooks were constantly popping out of the loops when I wore it, and were a pain to fix. I'm not sure if this was a design flaw or a symptom of the wrong size bra.
I'd say this bra works, whatever it is, just not for me anymore. When I was a C though, it was comfy and attractive (even though I'm not a fan of leopard print).
I like this bra, it's comfy and soft and the cups fit me as perfectly as anything, no poking or spilling or gapping once the straps are adjusted short enough. The band could be tighter on me, as I usually wear a 30 band, but alas, Victoria's Secret does not carry my actual size. This works though, it doesn't ride up, but it's not as firm as I would prefer. I can't speak to its longevity as it's pretty new, but I think I had an old version of this bra from at least 3 years ago that I only just got rid of.
To be fair, I had to settle for a band size up in this bra because Victoria's Secret doesn't really carry my size, so that throws off the whole thing for me (bought it out of necessity).
Pretty bra! The straps are removable, and can be configured multiple ways. One cool thing is that instead of having one loop for the strap in back, there are many, so they can be set to different widths depending on the top you're wearing. The elastic in the band is very firm, so it won't fall down. A lot of push-up padding in the bottom of the cups, I find it uncomfortable to wear for a long time.
Very comfy bra with a slight push up effect. I don't like that the cups are very firm. One of my breasts is larger than the other, so the foamy cup stands out from the smaller one and digs into the larger. It's very slight though, and is not noticeable under clothes.
This bra is definitely not for everyday use. It gives me maximum cleavage, which is I suppose the reason I bought it. The material is rather hard and the straps dig. It only works from the front and maybe the side.
This was my first attempt at bra-sized swimwear when I thought I was 36C. The band is big, and the cups are much too small. (Although my breasts were slightly smaller when I bought this, so the cups might have not been quite as small on me then.)
Gorgeous bra but fits funny. The band fits pretty well on the smallest hooks but the cups are small. I tried the 34dd first in this bra first and the cups were wide enough but gaped open when I was sitting. This one seems better but the wires are too narrow. This also seems to be more of a plunge than a demi and gives a bit of a pointy shape.
I bought this bra to use the straps for another bra, but they turned out to be too short. This is a bra for a very petite person. I did not try it on, it would not come close to fitting me.
The cups, straps, and band are made of stretchy satiny fabric. It has a relatively wide center gore. The underwires are very soft and flexible. The casing is also made of satin, which doesn't seem smart to me, as satin slides across the skin.
The overall look is a kind of retro, pinup look. When I had small breasts I loved the Second-Skin Satin line, it was supportive and comfortable and looked great. It has been discontinued.
There are a lot of things I like about this bra and a couple that I don't. First thing the band is really very stretchy. Also the cups come up really high for a demi. It ends up fitting me more like I would expect a full coverage bra to. I have pretty wide flat breasts so it's hard to find cups that are wide enough but don't come up too high.
Features: Cushioned strap (half adjustable) 4-way stretch in fabric bow with VS logo decor on center gore
Pros: Extremely comfortable and supportive. I can do any task and know I will stay in place. I love to wear it around the house on the weekends. Comfiest bra !!! Larger cup sizes have extra clasps at the back for extra support. Looks as good as new even after 6 months. The thick cushioned strap helps with any digging in problems people may have 4-way stretch for added comfort and wear
Cons: Wire comes up to a slighty awkward point in center gore ( sometimes digs) half adjustable straps make it harder for a person with narrow shoulders to wear. looks a little bit like a granny bra
Working at Victoria's Secret I can tell you this bra is not for everyone. It has a gel-encased wire and self adjusting straps for ultimate comfort. And another excellent feature is the microfibre material that hold in soft pockets of flesh on your back. These features are great and it is a comfortable bra but there are many down sides. The bra's straps do not fit narrow shoulders and the microfibre tends to stretch out quite quickly. Another down side is the wide set cups which made me feel like I was going to fall out (especially in the front close.) The front close option has crossing straps so it helps with the slipping straps but i dont feel as secure in it as my other bras. The other thing is it is not the prettiest of bras it is a bland look even in patterns. Hard to recommend.
I'm normally a 32/34 DD-DDD or so, so that affects my review. The bra is a completely smooth construction, with quite a bit of padding for push up. It has convertible straps and can be worn strapless. The band is a little tight, but not bad. The main issue I have with the band is the same thing that makes this a nice strapless - there are rubber bands along the strap, which help keep it up, but can also grab and pull at the skin. On a normal day, they don't bother me much, but if I'm moving, especially twisting, it can be a literal pain. ... I've developed blisters from the rubber on occasion. The cups are definitely too small for me, but not painful. I think they are probably an accurate D size. In the morning, I can fit into them, but throughout the day, my larger breast has a tendency to spill out. All this being said, it can be a comfortable bra for shorter periods of time. It's good for a night out, and my husband finds it to be one of my sexier bras - probably from the push up aspect. Read more 95 more words
If I ignore the fact that this was my wrong size, which I can't really, it's a nice bra. It's very gorgeous, and the wire is very sturdy. I love the lace, as it's very elegant and sexy, and what young woman doesn't want that?
The cons are only there because VS measured me wrong and told me that I would fit in this bra. The lace is easy to rip, but I think that's only because of my breasts protruding so much. There's a rip near the hooks. But other than common problems that come with a too-small bra, it's a good bra.
