Although the band was too long and the cups set too far apart, I really like this bra. I adjust the band so it is now 63 cm long (maybe more of a 32DD now?) and I sewed the center goring so that the cups aren't set so far apart. It fits pretty well now. I was surprised that the DD sized cups fit, but they did. Not a bad bra, just needed some adjustments to fit me.
I have altered the band smaller on this and the measurements for it now are as follows:
Stretched Band - 28" Band - 23" Cup Width - 6" Cup Depth - 8.5" Wire Length - 8.5" Cup Seperation - .75"
Since this is a Demi style, the cups are on the smaller (or shorter) side so they're a little small for me. I love the fabric on this bra, it's smooth and soft. Also, I've owned this for 3 years and it still feels like new, the quality is a lot higher than certain European bras in my stash. I would wear it more often but because it's a t-shirt style it gives a flatter look.
One problem with this bra (and also with the Full Coverage style) is the straps are extremely long and not fully adjustable. You will see it in the photos, but I have actually pulled the adjuster over the non-adjustable part of the strap, by 1.75".
I have not altered these yet, so the bands are fairly loose on me. I tend to tighten the straps a lot just so I can get some lift in the cup, but it causes a lot of pain in my neck so I try not to wear these as often. The one good thing about these bras is that they give a great shape in the cup. They are not padded, but have a thin molded (lightly lined) cup. Show through is very obvious in the beige one since it doesn't have that lace overlay (that gives you an idea how thin these are). I wish they ...didn't have a lace band because I notice it's a bit stretchier than just regular Lycra fabric, but they are pretty. I have worn the beige one more than the other two and I already notice the band is about 1" larger, so the lace fabric in the band is not holding up as good as other bras from VS.
The two lace styles are style #219-061, and the beige style is #216-025, purchased 08/2010. Read more 74 more words
This version of the Full Coverage Cotton bra is no longer carried at Victoria's Secret. Purchased in 2007, the straps are not fully adjustable, and the cups fit better and have a rounder shape - compared to the style they have now with different shaped foam, different fabric content and fully adjustable, narrower straps. I prefer the 2007 version =)
The band has been altered and the measurements are as follows:
Stretched Band - 28" Band - 23" Cup Width - 6" Cup Depth - 8.5" Cup Seperation - 1" Wire Length - 8.75"
I'd like this better if it had a full band, but this, as well as the BBV Full Coverage, are my two most comfortable, and also most worn bras. The gray one had a minor accident with some bleach (attempted fix with fabric marker, but it didn't hold). The black and white dot one is actually a tad smaller than the gray one in the cup depth by almost 3/8" so I don't wear it as often.
This was the bra size that the ladies at Victoria's Secret put me in. I imagine that this bra would quite comfortable if it actually fit me. I do like the design since demi cups suit my shape really well. The material is nice and smooth, which is something that I really appreciate in a bra. I also like the subtle, but graduated padding over the nipple area. The band is just too big for my petite frame and the cups are too small.
A nice, comfy everyday bra by Victoria's Secret. Especially liked the cotton lining and the wide straps. Just so-so on support, because the band is very, very stretchy (see measurements). Like most VS bras, this one is usually available in a staggering array of colors and prints.
Love the cotton fabric and comfort of this bra. The cups seem to run a little small. The foam lining is a bit thick (about 1/4"), so it is more like padding. The range of colors and prints available is staggering. Unfortunately this bra offers practically nothing in the way of support, because the band is way too stretchy and the cups are triangle shaped. I wear it when everything else is in the laundry!
Purchased late winter 2010 from Victoria's Secret.
comfy, I think most of my bulging is just extra skin because I'm 7 months postpartum and my skin is still in the process of tightening back up. It's getting there though.
Highly stretchy back band; the bra is sexy but not very supportive. Twinned thin straps in front, widening on the back. Runs very large in the cup, comparable to a 34E at least.
One of the most comfortable bras with soft fabric. Unfortunately I lost weight so this isn't my size anymore https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />.
The wires are actually only about 5in/13cm long. The last quarter of the cup is actually just the moulding/padding, but the measurements wouldn't allow me to enter that, so I used the foam as the "wire" information
Is this bra from Victoria's Secret ?
