    Didn't fit

Such pretty colours and print! So ive bought this swimsuit previously in 32DD, which was all over too big (too long, too loose on my bump, cups are huge). 30DD is bit better, but still not perfect fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_neutral.gif" alt=":|" />
Cups are quite deep as for 30DD, however still too small for me. Wires are okay, 12.5cm are acceptable but my perfect are 12.7-13, and they're more comfortable than in Veronica tankini.
The band itself is loose as for size 30, although the swimwear is much tighter, so the band from the inside doesnt support as much as the whole piece.
Straps ... are fully adjustable and also the suit can be worn strapless.
I am petite person (only 157cm), so the 32DD was too long, this one also is quite long but its better. Its quite tight. I usually wear size 8UK 36EU both in trousers and tops, however my hips are quite big. The bottom part digs into my big bump and I dont like it, its little uncomfortable for me as im not fan of too tight pants, trousers etc.
Ive tried to jump a little in the suit, it stays in place, didnt move down (both options - strapless and with straps). I really would love it to fit, but the cups must be less open or just soft so then it would fit me. Im not sure if 30E would solve the issue, but I think its time to give up on panache padded swimsuits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

One of of Panache's "little black swimsuit" styles. With it's waist-defining panel and mesh lining across the entire front of the suit body, it's clearly designed to flatter the stomach. It has copper metal hardware on the straps and a tiny metal "Panache" nameplate at the back. There's a cutout below the back band, those who don't like to expose flesh there may want to pass on this suit.

The neckline comes above the wire, adding modesty. The gore measurement above is to the top of the fabric. The gore measurement from band elastic to wire tip is 3.5".

The cup is forgivingly stretchy, unpadded, with a lining slightly smaller than the outer fabric to provide support. It's shallower at the outside and the bottom. The cup shape puts the breasts towards the center.

I did a few measurements across the suit while it was laying flat.
    Waist: 14 3/8"
    Hip: 16"

Such pretty colours and print! Ive almost got this swimsuit last year but instead I took 32DD - Panache Swimwear » Veronica Tankini (SW0641) as I wanted tankini more than a one piece suit.
The bra runs one size bigger - both the band and cups are too large on me. Wires are okay, not too wide but not the narrowest ones as well. Theyre more comfortable than in Veronica
Cups are deep, really deep as for 32dd, but also theyre closed on the top so I do not gap but I can feel empty space inside of the cup
The band is loose but it keeps bra ... in a place, definietly it wouldnt fall of the body even when wearing without straps
Straps are fully adjustable and also the suit can be worn strapless.
I could very easily fit into 30, also the suit is bit too long on me it wrinkles a lot but im petite - just 157cm so Im not surprised

Such shame - but Id happily get this as a tankini and definietly in size smaller like 30DD should be perfect!

So, I really wanted to be able to actually wear this swimsuit. I'm uncomfortable with with wearing bikinis since having had three kids, all C-sections, (my tummy is all kinds of wrecked) so I feel better in one-pieces. I think I'm gonna have to get over that fear, because one-pieces just aren't going to work for me with my needy boobs.
Anyways, on to the review. I got this suit for a decent price on ebay, way cheaper than at bra stores online, from the UK. (Which is what makes it impossible for me to return, since the postage is crazy expensive) It's really cute, retro-looking, and decently made ... halter strap style suit. The underwire is SUPER long, though, and high in the armpits. The fabric on the cups is definitely not big enough to cover my 32G-ish sized breasts. Also, it's freaking hard to get ON! Since the underwires are really long, they dig into my squishy belly as I am trying to pull it up. There's a bra-ish clash that is hidden in the back, but impossible to actually clasp without help.
So, after wrestling with this for a while, I gave up and realized I have to start hunting for a bikini swimsuit for this summer. Comexim has worked pretty well for me in the past, so I will probably order one of theirs. Wish me luck!

Finally Ive added this tankini but only because im packing for my holidays that start tomorrow and have some spare time https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
I got this tankini last year as I was going to visit Dubai where the sun is extremely strong and I get burnt very easily.
First of all, the look of this tankini is so lovely!! it covers my fatty stomach very well and the lenght is just right for my petite size. From the beggining I have to use tightest set of hooks as it is quite loose - but I had also 30E that was too tight ... and the gore was bothering me too much. The wires feels like theyre made of plastic coz Ive tried to bend them but it seems impossible as the gore hurts my chest. However to solve the problem of hard gore - ive used cotton pad and the pain was gone. Wires and narrow, Id say very narrow as theyre only 12.5cm and theyre perfect on me! The cups feels great, theyre bit closed on top but at least they hold boobs very well!! Ive used this tankini for scuba diving and was perfect with carrying on my back a bottles with oxygen and while swimming under water - I wouldnt trust any other bra as this tankini with diving. The straps are not very wide and are fully adjustable.

The straps are the most interesting part on this. The outside wing connects to the straps and you can wear it over the cup or as a sling. There is a band that slides down making a more Grecian style look or a more gathered wing. See my pictures for examples. Otherwise, fits exactly like my Panache Holly.

Major quading with cups too shallow and wide for me. At first I got it in 28DD, but the cups were too small, so sent it back for an E, hoping that would help. It really didn't help much at all with the quading.
I took in the center gore, and gently bent the wires to a more narrow position. It fits well enough for the time being.

    30E

    Didn't fit

The swimsuit is lovely, but it doesn´t fit very well in the cups :-/
I have shallow boobs, tall + wide root. My usual size is 28F/28FF. At first I couldn´t figure out what´s with the cups, but it is the cup shape. They are a little too deep for me and that´s why I don´t fill them entirely. They are a little bit too closed on top, so there´s a little spillage as well (this is not THAT bad though). The shape they give me is a little .. dragged down, not lifted.

There is a "bra" with underwires inside the suit. In 30E the bra part is ... a little loose on me. 28F would be better but this 30E is wearable in the tightest hooks. The problem is that the suit is damn difficult to get on/up!! That´s because the back comes very high up and is "closed" in the swimsuit outer fabric-part. The bra + bra hooks are inside it.

    Pics of the back:
    The back is like this:
    http://www.wizardofbras.com/images/products/detail/PanSavannahBack.jpg

    I´d much prefer like this!!:
    http://www.naturalfigures.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/500x700/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/g/e/geneva-swimsuit-black-back.jpg

I had no issues about the torso length, but I never do. It fits okay for me.
I bet this would be a very nice suit if the cup shape is okay for you and if you manage to get it up (my hips are qiote wide, maybe that´s the problem).

    EDIT.
I altered the swimsuit. I cut the bra off and replaced it with a Freya Deco Honey 30E bra! I also made a "hole" to the back so there´s more room to drag the swimsuit up. The front is more like plunge now, comes lower than before. Now my boobs are lifted, not dragged down! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

So I bought a 34J - Panache Swimwear » Veronica Balconnet Bikini Top (SW0642) and finally tried it on today. It does a really weird thing. The fabric at the front pulls away from the gore and it just looks awful. Why is it doing that? I put up a picture of the problem from above. I tried to add a picture of the problem from the front too, but my phone only uploaded the first one (thanks, phone).

I prefer swimsuits to bikinis, so I had been looking to buy one for quite some time. I found the Veronica on eBay and have been using it for the last nine months or so.

All in all, I love it. The color is nice, it holds when you swim, the straps don't fall off your shoulders, there is no horrible padding in the cups and, best of all, by boobs are actually where they're supposed to be, not halfway down my stomach. I really have nothing to say against the Veronica. It survived the swimming pool, the sea and the sauna just fine.

One thing to keep in mind, ... though - it is not a modest swimsuit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It's a bit like wearing a plunge bra and I was a bit worried at first that my boobs will fall out... but, so far, they've never had and I've given them plenty of opportunities.

The band is also quite stretchy, so you might want to consider going down a band size. I like the 30H because it is comfortable, doesn't pinch my back fat and I'm in the water most of the time anyway; that said, the band is definitely not horizontal but makes that upside-down u thing larger bands do.

My usual size, 28HH, was sold out in this bikini top, so I went for the sister size; which means that the band rides up a little, but, on the other hand, my back-fat doesn't get so pinched in (which is quite awesome, considering it's swimwear).

The straps are fully adjustable and the underwired cups are true to size and quite stretchy. I think that they'd fit 30 GG/H/HH boobs, because the fabric sort of molds itself to one's body and doesn't wrinkle or cut in.

There's a small pendant in the middle of the cups with "Panache" written on it.

All in all, I'm so happy with this bra ... that I would recommend it to anyone. It's the first bikini top I've had that doesn't make me look lumpy, and I felt great the very moment I put it on. I haven't swum in it yet, but it's a regular balconette shape, so I hope that it will stay firmly in place!

    --- EDIT ---

So I've swum in it and sunbathed in it and run around in it and everything's fine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> When it got wet I thought that it might have actually got larger... but my boobs have grown lately, so I guess that fixed itself on its own.

This top was altered by the previous owner, and it fits like a 34GG, so I would say it probably ran true to size.
I haven't tried it with the shoulder strap but it stays up just fine without it; I wore it all day as a strapless bra under a dress and it worked fine. (Now that I think on it, better than any actual strapless bra I ever owned.)
If I were buying one new, I'd look for a cup size down in the larger of my regular band sizes (i.e. a 32GG) just to get a little less chest coverage. If I weren't short, I wouldn't care because the support is great and I don't need swimwear to be as tight as my bras.
Seems beautifully made of excellent materials.

When I can I buy a 28GG unfortunately this swimsuit starts from a size 30 so I purchased a 30G. It's a near perfect fit and I just don't feel quite as securely held in place in this band as I would in a 28.

Otherwise this runs true to size and just because I feel a little insecure doesn't mean that the swimsuit looks too small on me - I think it looks like an excellent fit.

The body of the suit isn't as clingy as I'd like it to be through the waist. I believe here I would have done better with a 28, that said, perhaps ... the suit never stretches tight to the skin at the waist due to the cutout at the back waist (thus, there's no pull across the belly from the sides).

The body of the suit runs medium to long which means that it should look amazing on women of normal height following the natural crease of the leg as it meets the hip. The bottom coverage is excellent and there's no discomfort there.

Unfortunately I find the crotch length is still a bit long for me (symptoms: sits too high on the side leg, shows too much bikini hair and rides above the natural crease where my leg meets hip), but I suffer from this in nearly all my lingerie and swimsuit buying adventures so don't let it put you off! The suit may be a little long on women of petite height 5' 4" and under - like me.

Did I mention the colour is beautiful and the style is very sophisticated? The princess seam vertical lines are very sliming and I think the suit makes it looks like my bust is a bit smaller because it smooths right over the underwires towards the belly.

Great for the pool, but I'll stick to my other bikinis for the beach!

If I hadn't gotten this on sale I probably would return it to Figleaves, but the cost of shipping makes this just-a-bit-off fit worth keeping. There will be some occasion I will wear this I'm sure...

Very cute swimsuit, while it very much doesn't fit I was surprised by how well it looks like it fits, especially since it has padded cups. Straps are detachable and barely adjust long enough. For whatever reason this was wildly difficult for me to clasp at the back, I know typically that happened when the band it too tight but honestly it felt like I had the same amount of room to hook as I do with other bras, I think partly it was because of where the tag was attached and it was getting in the way. Feels like a nice high quality swimsuit, did not tack even kind of. Has side boning, is wired, is padded, one plastic clasp at the back. So yeah looks cute and looked good on me put did not fit and I definitely didn't want to wear it longer than I had too.

I don't know that I'd wear this bandeau swimming or in the ocean, security-wise, but it's perfect for sunbathing and walking in the beach. Really cute retro look that does show a little cleavage on me but actually feels secure and flattering for a bandeau style for once. Came with two removable straps but I can only find one so you won't see them in my pics - straps can be worn over the shoulder as a typical bra, crisscrossed, or worn halter-style.

This is a basic swimsuit with underwire and adjustable shoulder straps. Excellent for the beach and/or water aerobics. Size on cups run slightly large. I wear 34DD in Anya bandeau bikini top. Wires are on the narrow side and may not work for someone else. My hip size is currently 104 cm or 41". The opening of the top feels a bit snug so I would recommend this for hip size 100 cm. (Hip unstretched is 40 cm). Seems like I gained some weight since purchase. It is now listed for sale.

Oh my goodness, when I first saw this swimsuit, I thought for sure it would fit; nope! I can't get my butt into it (not that I tried that hard) but when I knew it wasn't going to fit, I just stopped trying : (
My quest for the perfect bust-friendly swimsuit continues : )
It's too bad b/c I LOVE this colour purple, 10/10.
I think I will mark one down in quality b/c - although the fabric is lovely and soft, it's a little thin, surprisingly. Ideally I would like a bit of a thicker fabric for a swimsuit like this.

Because I didn't try it on all the way, I'm not sure how the fit is. the underwires seem quite significant (they're made out of plastic though) but I'm not sure how they would feel.
Lovely construction though, it is lined in the front. which is essential in my book. not lined in the back.

Oh no, I'm sorry it didn't fit! I love the color. Was there a size for the bottom half or just the cups?

    • 1

WildWolff , just the cups. I feel like it's made for a medium person. but it just seems kind of tight and small, I didn't even put in on all way, as I didn't want to damage it.

It's so hard to match both bust measurements and hips.

I might try this Polish brand, Gwinner, and see if their swimsuits work for me - I don't need anything that impressive, I just need something bust-friendly that I can swim laps in. https://othereden.co.uk/cat-eng-1214553999-Women-Swimwear-Monokinis.html I think if I order through the above company I can return it if it doesn't fit.

I know most European women wear bikinis.

    • 1

WildWolff , I think in the U.S., you guys have more options (I was looking on your amazon) but I don't think we have the same options, as far as swimwear on amazon.
Because I was looking on your amazon, you guys had a ton of swimsuits, that I thought some seemed "bust friendly" or various qualities, I'm sure.

    • 1

BraOdyssey I'm sure there are more options in the US but it's very hit or miss in my experience. I've tried several that fit well in the cups but the bottom half looked like an overstuffed sausage lol or there was too much fabric at the bottom. And I'm short, so it's hard to find one piece swimsuits that are bust friendly, petite, and fit well in the bottom half. Even growing up in Hawaii I found that the options were way too limited and you can get a swimsuit in a gas station there lol

    • 1

BraOdyssey I'm not sure what availability is like for you, but if you're looking for a one piece for swimming laps and not necessarily for cleavage or aesthetic, you could try Speedo brand. I found a purple one piece on clearance at Costco this summer and I decided to go for it since it was only $4 and the Medium works well. No underwire support, but it keeps everything close to the body/out of the way and worked well for swimming laps.

    • 1

      WildWolff , interesting...thank u. That's something to consider!

Wow, $4 at Costco?! Such a steal!

    • 1

BraOdyssey I am a Costco regular lol I've gone once a week for so long now I know when to expect clothes to go on clearance so they can make room for the next season's items. If only they sold more bras!

    • 1

WildWolff , thank u so much! I don't know if you saw this thread on reddit yesterday re: swimming suits, but Speedo was highly recommended. I also like the brand Speedo, it's quality and at least the front is always lined all the way.
That being said, I might have to go with Land's End, it's so much cheaper. https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/r9lvv4/any_lap_swimmers_on_here_looking_for_size/

    • 1
