This is a well made, pretty bikini top in a cute color. I'm sure it would look great if the cups would fit. It's comfy, except for the rigid Panache wires. The cups are too small for me, so I get an orange in a glass effect. I might try this in 30E, depending on how the teal color works out with the Freya Deco briefs in "ocean".
Major quading with cups too shallow and wide for me. At first I got it in 28DD, but the cups were too small, so sent it back for an E, hoping that would help. It really didn't help much at all with the quading. I took in the center gore, and gently bent the wires to a more narrow position. It fits well enough for the time being.
For some reason, I didn't think the rules would apply when buying a bikini top vs an actual bra. Not sure what I was thinking, but this was actually a huge disappointment because I had it in my head it would be awesome on me. Kind of a consolation for the fact that no bras seem to fit right.
First of all, this band is very tight. Too tight for me and that gave me an almost muffin top look, except under my arms. But, it is very firm, so if it fits you, it would offer nice support.
It seems to be well-made, it's really pretty and ...was on clearance on Amazon for about $6 (so who could resist, really?).
What I failed to consider was that a seamed bikini top cup would have the same downfall as seamed bra cups have on my deflated, very soft boobs. The seams cut into the tissue and make very obvious creases and bumps. Although the cups fit, the appearance was totally unacceptable. I returned it, but I suspect that eventually it will make someone very happy.
I really wanted this bra to work. I knew it ran tight and was excited about that, but I wasn't expecting to quad out of it like crazy. I think this would be best for a 26DD. It is a really great shallow, FoB shape so I'd really like it in a 28DD/E or 30D/DD because it gives a nice shape and feels like really good quality.
Okay, so I had a post written up about how this bra will not fit anyone ever, but I nix it. I've apparently been testing my swimsuits all wrong.
You need water.
To be more specific, most swimwear is designed to stretch not as much as regular clothes when exposed to water, but still does to a small degree. So your best test for fit will be when it's a bit wet (unless you don't plan on going near water at all in this swimwuit, or don't plan on going in water a lot). When it's not wet, the wires are super wide, the band is tight, and the cups ...are much too small and low cut. When it's wet, the wires are still wide, but less so because the band is less tight (though, this still runs like a very firm 28 band, or loose 26) and the cups are about a right fit. Ideally, this is closer to a 26G than a 28FF I think, but also depends on preferences of the wearer. I think I'll keep this one now, though that might change again in the future. I was surprised to find this bikini top to fit as well as it does. The band is looser than I would normally want for a bra, but I think it's more aesthetically appropriate on my squishy ribs than a properly supportive band would be since it's a swim suit.
The lift offered by the cup shape is nothing to write home about, and I would bet that a person with less upper fullness than me would get a way better silhouette. I feel like gives me a more downward pointing shape than a different cut or sturdier material might, and that a lot of the support actually comes ...from the straps because the cup material is so stretchy. This too is problematic because the straps are made of the same stretchy material.
Ultimately it's a great top for lazing around on the beach, especially if you want a shape that is more true to your natural bust. I love the color and the feel of the material, even if the stretch doesn't do as much for lift as I'd normally like. I plan to pair it with high waist bikini bottoms :]
This bra fits me like a full cup bra style, and I wanted something a bit sexier for the pool! This is an extremely popular style, and I just checked over at Figleaves.com, and there is only one size left, a 32J, and it's on sale at $30!! Mine has only been worn ONCE and is half the price at $15 https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
