This was my first try at cup-sized swimwear. Being 26FF, S/M/L-sized swimwear is rarely inclusive to bands as small as mine and certainly wouldn't have large enough cups even when it is. 28F is also unfortunately one of the less commonly available sizes in cup-sized swimwear, with many ranges only going down to 32 or 30 bands, exacerbated by brands who do make 28s cutting back on those sizes. Plus, my sister size is often pretty pricy when it is available. So after all this, I was left pretty disheartened about my chances of finding an affordable swimsuit that also fit my personal modesty preferences: no cleavage, no ... cut outs, and no showing the stomach area. Lots of swimwear in general intentionally tries to more skin, with cleavage-enhancing bikinis being popular.

This is why I was very pleasantly surprised to come across this tankini on sale for just $10—it was exactly what I was looking for! It's basically a bra attached to the inside of a tank top, which does make it a bit awkward to hook, but it isn't too difficult and it offers just as much support as regular bras. Everything fits for me; I would say I have a projected and somewhat wider shape. Like some other Panache bras, the wires are on the edge of being a bit too narrow for me, but manage to avoid that problem by a slight margin. The seams on the front of the tank part are flattering and it's an overall comfortable product. The only con is that the gore is a bit pokey sometimes, which doesn't bother me that much but might not be great if you have a sensitive sternum.

I haven't been in the water with it yet, but I'll add my experience with that once I do. Since it has a very basic design, you could also just wear it as a normal tank top. I did not get the matching bottoms for this and plan on buying a swim skirt separately.

I decided I wanted an underwired bikini top for the summer. I usually wear tie on tops as I have always found clasped ones to look far too tight and dig in, giving me back fat which makes me self conscious. Tie on tops aren't very supportive though and it gets uncomfortable if I wear them on boats when it's wavy. As I now know my bra size better, I decided to give it a go again.

I would usually go for 30F as a starting size but decided to sister size to 32E with this because of the digging in issue I've had in the past. I ordered ... both a 32E and 32DD as I'd seen the cups ran slightly small. I think the band could potentially be a little tighter but it's ok. Much more supportive than my other tops. The wires come up high and they sit on my breast tissue, however because the band is slightly looser, it doesn't dig in and hurt. I won't be wearing this for the same amount of time as a normal bra so I am going to keep this. I wanted a top which could be strapless and I'm not sure there is a strapless bikini top which has lower wires than this.

Quality seems good to start with, I can update this after the summer.

This is a really nice bikini top. I always wear it under a swim tee (because skin cancer sucks, and I prefer to cover my pale self), but it fits well and stays put while moving or swimming. It creates a flattering silhouette under the swim tee. I don’t know if it would shift more without the tee, but I don’t think so.

I have a little gap right where the cup meets the strap, but all the breast tissue stays contained. The straps are a little wide (both the straps themselves and their placement in the front at the arms), but they work fine. The gore tacks nicely. ... The band is true to size. The padding lifts everything without being too stiff.

The fabric is a pretty shade of blue, and the ivory trim is a nice contrast. It doesn’t stretch out too much when wet and hasn’t faded from chlorine so far after pretty regular wear. I haven’t had any trouble either with the straps loosening or with the back closure.

This is a good swim top, whether you’d prefer to wear it under a swim tee and move around like me, or if you’d rather sit in a lounge chair and get some sun. It won’t improve your lap time, but your boobs will look good. 😂

Me: Average projection. Fuller on bottom. Slightly wider left breast (I suspect this breast is also 1-2 ml taller than my other breast). Usually wear 28DD or 30D.

It's a cute swim top I'm fairly sure there's a bit of empty space at the bottom of the cups. The gore doesn't really sit firmly on my sternum either. If this swim top was available in 28DD, I'm sure I would like it better. This top made me realize I don't like bandeau swim tops because I felt like I was gonna spill out anytime and part of my areola looked like it was showing sometimes. I think I may be more suited to swim tops that encompass my whole breast rather than bandeau style.

Love it! Tight, but that will be perfect for swimming. Straps can be adjusted from bra-style, to crossing in back. Vertical seam down the center of the cups does show slightly under a tight t-shirt, but I actually like the look/shape. Pointy, but a structured line of point (like the top of an A-frame house, ...if it were rounded from front to back, hmm, that analogy doesn't work...) instead of a conical point.

Considering my "best fitting bra" previous was a 38F..I dunno how this happened. lol

I have the typical sternum dig that I usually get with panache, but the wire otherwise circles my tissue super well, and I feel both supported and covered. The straps-though thin-are strong enough to keep them where they should be.

I do NOT love putting this tankini on, however. The way it's constructed means poking myself in the throat, while I wrestle the layers down over my chest and sides. I can't imagine doing this with a wet suit. It has a bra constructed inside ... the outer spandex suit, with wires and a 3 hook closure. The lining looks like a double layered sheer tricot-soft, and not scratchy in the slightest.

The print is cute, the fabric obvious high quality, with good stretch recovery. I'm long waisted, so I'll be pairing this with a short style bottom.

I have yet to take it in a pool, but have worn it for hours around my house to assess fit. I will update when I've taken it for a swim.

Love this top! I tried it in several sizes because I was determined to get it right. The print is classy and fun, and it has actual support.
The fit is amazing. The swan style band is snug but hides backfat and it is totally comfortable. I don't get any cleavage, but the cups fit beautifully while lifting and separating. The material and construction are great.
Update 5/19: snug fit but could use a larger cup.

Such poor construction. The swim part does not have enough fabric so it pulls down at the top of the cup, exposing the hella tall wires. Too bad, it would be an ok fit otherwise.

Very vibrant colors! The cups are rather closed on top, so it gives very modest look. If you're FOT - size up the cup! The band was altered, so now it feels good/ But due to my experience with Panache swimwear, choose your normal band size. It usually feels very snug dry, but water makes it forgiving.

This is a very beautiful bandeau bikini bra which can be worn with the straps or without.

My usual size is about UK 28F / 28FF and my shape is somewhat shallow with wide + tall roots. I so wanted this bikini top to work for me and I ended up getting it in 30E and 32D (-sister sized to 30DD). Unfortunately the shape is not good for me. This bikini would work much better for someone with more projection and shorter roots. Both bikini tops are the wrong shape for me, I get quadboob and in the 30E I also have empty cups at the bottom. However, I´m so in love with the print that I will keep the (altered to) 30DD because there´s less empty cups going on.

Other Panache swim in this size fit, but this is too small in cup and band because it is lined. It fits nicely on the small boob, so a 40HH might be a good fit. I would have liked this much more in a plunge style of course, which Panache refuses to make in my size. The straps are way too widely set but I can't tell if it's because the band is too small or just stupid wide set straps. The finishing on this is much nicer than any swimwear I own except 38HH - Panache Swimwear » Halle Balconnet Bikini Top (SW0752).

I love this tankini! It's a very flattering fit, and good for FoB with lots of projection. It fits snug, not just through the cups but through the abdominal area. The suit is well made with nice detailing. The wires are super stiff, which made it something of a wrestling match getting it on and off.

This is a one-piece with bra-sized cups (yes, there are two separate cups under there - it's not just a shelf!) The underwire is plastic (no rust) and there is also a plastic bikini-style clasp in the back.

This is discontinued so I got it at a discount. The retailer only had 30H, but the reviews said to size up in the cups (and I'm usually 30G/GG) so I figured it had a strong possibility of fitting.

I think I possibly could have gone with my normal size. The cups *are* too big. They are both too wide and too tall; the too-tall is the bigger problem, as it ... keeps the wire under my IMF. If I pull it up into the my IMF, the ends poke into my sternum and armpits. (And since they're plastic, they can't be bent.) But if I don't pull it up, it actually falls into kind of a nice place where it feels comfortable on all fronts, and the tight spandex material still gives me a lot of support even though the wire is too low. There's no quadding, possibly because the front runs high enough to cover the fullest part of my bosom.

The rest of the suit fits well through the body. I guess they figure a 30 ribcage basically means a S/M overall (and/or it's stretchy enough to kind of work either way). Bear in mind I'm short-waisted, so it may run short, I can't tell. I find one-pieces less sexy but more functional than bikinis (especially since I don't like water touching my tummy.) This is a good suit for swimming at the lake with the family.

I purchased this when I first discovered there were bra sizes that went past a triple D. Through some measuring and a few bra calculators I ended up with the size 32ff. This is too small. Gore doesn't tack and, I realize it's a swimsuit but, there is lots of boob and too much jiggle for me to feel comfortable. I guess I was expecting some gravity-defying miracle by buying a strapless swimsuit (though it comes with detachable straps). The black and white design is really pretty, I wish it fit better. My best fitting bras are the cleo lily in 32g and comexim basic in 70k.

It is rare that I find a bra that is too wide-set for my breasts, however the gore on the Amelia combined with its complete lack of projection at the gore has managed to achieve this. The gore on Amelia is about 50% wider than most Panache bras, so proceed with caution.

The cups are surprisingly (and pleasantly) narrow, but my goodness is the bra shallow. The measurements are before any modification however I've had to alter the wires by over a centimetre just to get enough depth - so the wires do sit on breast tissue, but not enough to bother me. The wires are much softer than ... usual Panache wires, which may also be contributing to the bad tack.

Otherwise it's actually a lovely bra! Firstly I'll mention that it works fantastically without the straps, no shifting when I literally jumped up and down. I got the 34FF as I read it ran small in the cups, I don't quite think that's true as I get a smidge of quadding (although it may be a side-effect of the other issues I'm having). The band definitely runs firm though, firmer than any other Panache I've ever tried. The fabric overlay hides any bra hardware as well, which is a nice plus.

Overall it's certainly not the most flattering bra I've ever owned but it's very functional at least!

This is a bit tight but I needed another one for swimming laps. It will stretch out and in the meantime I appreciate that it will not move around in the water. See my other review 38HH - Panache Swimwear » Holly Balconnet Bikini (SW0622) for a larger band size.

By the way, these swim tops are really chlorine resistant. I use them at least once a week and usually twice. They last a year without the fabric being destroyed by the chlorine of the pool. That's really high quality for swimwear.

I bought this about 2 years ago when I was figuring out my size, which was about a 30J/30JJ/32J then. I never wore it because it never fitted right. I think it came up a bit small in the cups as I got slight quadboob. The cups are made of stretchy material which did not provide much support and uplift. The shoulder straps are quite thin and cut into the shoulders.

I got this bikini from another Bratabase member and was going to alter the band down to 30DD / 28E. I read somewhere that this bikini runs big in the cups, but that´s not true. Boy are the cups too small for me! I usually wear 28F in Panache (or 30E in P swimwear). Panache Isobel bandeau bikini cups were way too small for me in 30E and I sized up to 30FF to realise that the cups are probably the wrong shape for me. I think I should size up to at least 32DD / 30E in Amelia, but I have my doubts that cup shape still ... would not be ideal for me. Maybe I should just give up on Panache bandeau styles...

I really like the look of this bikini, the cut and the fabric, and I´m thinking of keeping it although the fit is not good (this probably is not a good idea, but ... meh https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />) . If I don´t swoop & scoop, it doesn´t look that bad at all.

There are removable straps that adjust all the way. There is no silicone elastic at all which makes me wonder if the bikini stays up without straps. The same goes true for Panache Isobel bandeau bikini as well. Both bikini tops feel secure when wearing them so maybe the silicone missing is not an issue.

I alo got matching bottom briefs in UK10. I think they run true to size because they are a bit small for me and I usually wear UK12.

This bikini has sat some time in my closet because I don´t know what to do with it. It is a bandeau style bikini with removable straps. The size or cup shape is not 100% compatible with my shape. I´m not really sure what´s wrong but the gore doesn´t tack all the way and if I swoop & scoop, cups seem to cut in at the top. There might also be some orange in a glass going on and maybe the cups are a bit too projected for me? This all being said, when I put the bikini on, it didn´t look as bad as I remembered and it also feels secure when wearing it, even without the straps. So I think I might wear it comfortably.

I also got matching bottoms in UK12. They feel true to size and fit me very well. I usually wear UK12.
