I think I wrote a review for this a while back when I first got the bra, but it got erased before I submit and I think out of frustration I gave up and didn’t re-write it lol.

This bra style comes in two different cuts: one that is a lower, average cut and one that is a full-coverage cut. This review is for the “regular” version, not the full-coverage. I also have 2 other reviews of this bra in this size that ARE the full-coverage version.

I was told that the Kris Line Betty bra was Kris Line’s replacement for the Brilliant bra that was part of ... their permanent line but has since been discontinued. Compared to Brilliant, I much prefer Betty in these larger sizes. While the Brilliant fit me strangely (weird silhouette, oddly shaped, no support), the Betty gives the opposite effect.

This cut of the Betty obviously doesn’t has as much coverage, as seen by my photos. The bottom of the cups along the band have embroidery/embellishments, which for me is a negative because it cuts in and gets super uncomfortable throughout the day. The cups themselves are nice and deep and gives a great rounded shape. I would say it gives a look similar to that of the Kris Line Fortuna bra, including the coverage.

The straps are nice a thick and give great support. Easy to adjust, slightly wide but manageable.

Anyway, this is another great bra by Kris Line, and I’m surprised that I’m just now reviewing it, but like I said, the first time I reviewed it it got scrapped on accident. 😅

    W-O-W!
I am so shocked at how obsessed I am with this bra!

This beauty is the Kris Line Betty Full Cup Soft. Honestly, over the past few months I’ve seen Betty and not tried her because I think the embroidery is somewhat ugly, but since it’s become part of Kris Line main line, I figured I’d have to try it eventually now that Brilliant and possibly Fortuna are discontinued. (Note: I’ve been told for certain that Brilliant is discontinued as their main line, but not that Fortuna has been; however, I’m finding it very difficult to find any more Fortunas in my size and they don’t seem to be ... getting restocked.)

The full cup version of Betty does have some key differences compared to the “regular” version, and they’re somewhat important, especially for curvy girls like myself:
-Obviously the cups are taller to give fuller coverage.
-Comes as a 4-part cup with 2 vertical seams.
-Has side support to bring the ladies front and center instead of having them linger in your armpits.
-The gore is higher for more containment on the inside of the cups.
-And, my favorite part…NO EMBROIDERY ON THE BAND.

This bra has some great compression and gives a lovely rounded shape. The wires are the perfect width for me, but with my experience with Kris Line that’s typically the case for me. Their wires always fit me pretty well. The cups are lined with mesh and are very comfortable. They have elastic along the top, but because the bra is slightly large, it doesn’t cause me to quad. (Note: I’ve read that Betty runs larger in the cups that most other Kris Line bras, which is probably why this is slightly loose on top for me.) The gore is a little wide, definitely wider than Ewa Michalak, but it actually works for me. It barely tacks flat for me, but I think it’s a combination of it being wide and taller. It isn’t an issue for me, though, because most (if not all) Kris Line bras don’t tack hard for me. The band is snug but very comfortable, and I love that there isn’t embroidery on the band at the gore/under the cups because I always have discomfort there on bras. The straps are wide, comfortable, and perfect in terms of adjustment. Overall, this is honestly the best bra I’ve ever worn!

I definitely recommend giving it a try if you know you Kris Line size because even though it’s not the most beautiful bra, it really is the bee’s knees.

I love the shape of those cups--they look very narrow and projected.

    • Very nice shape! Congrats on finding another one that fits!

I wanted to wear this a bit before I wrote review.

For reference my UK size is about 34J/JJ. I have short, narrow roots, low set. very projected needing immediate projection.

I've not worked out in it but I wore it while painting a room in the house https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> For reference, I've never had a sports bra and the only one I've tried before is Bravissimo Apollo which was the opposite of this one.

It's still a bit bouncy like when I walk but it's not really a bother for me, I don't do intense work outs anyway. I think just wearing like a ... compression tank top over it would stop that if that's a concern for anyone else.

SO! The wires are really narrow! they're almost too narrow for me but they're juuuust there. The band fits me perfectly, I don't need an extender. The straps are half adjustable but long enough for me and I am 175 cm tall. They have those metal/plastic rings on them where the straps meet in the middle, which is a little annoying depending, and the straps are a little wide on the back, they could be moved in at least an inch maybe.

It's really really comfortable, the wire on one side is a little wonky and can rub my arm when I move my arm there but I'm going to bend it to fix that. I think it's a construction error possibly, the wire channel on the left side doesn't allow this, idk. but when I wear it I don't really notice it at all so it's fine. You can see it in the 2nd picture even.

The gore tacks! it's a medium height gore, it's a bit hard to see it because it's like double or triple layer fabric in there, and there's like a workout mesh on the inside, I'll attach a picture of it.

The cups have padding on the outside? It's a little strange but okay, doesn't really matter. feels like wearing an armored vest hehe.

The fit is sick, tbh. This has such a front and center push, more than any other of my bras. There is NO squishing the boobs back into your armpits here, it's all being forwarded and really center, I get cleavage in this actually, and it's amazing to not have your chest in the way for your arms etc.

Overall it's super comfortable and really good fit for me. if you need narrow wires and don't want to be squished into your sports bra, definitely try this!

I realize it's probably hard to find it. I got it from their own website but I think they only ship to european countries. But if you can find it I definitely recommend.

that's so cool - I actually looked into this bra a few weeks ago. I'm in Canada though, so they don't ship here! I'm on a quest for a sportsbra...

    • 2

congrats on this! Looks great on you and finally a sports bra that fits. What a success! those wires are super narrow, and that is for size KK?! That's extreme. I think I be sized out then. But Apollo which you hated was not that bad on me. We are like opposites in bra fitting...

    • 1

alisa yeah sadly it only goes to an L cup on their end and you definitely don't need to size up in the band on this, so you can't sister size up either :(

It's probably my polish genes making this such a perfect fit for me :D

    • Does it fit bigger than 34J Apollo? Would L cup be like JJ?

    • I think you should stick with polish brands then. KL works well and Nessa was okay too?

    • I'm gonna measure it later if I remember but I feel I can't quite compare the sizing easily because this one is so forward and no squishing anywhere but apollo was squishing me like crazy where my tissue was being pushed to my armpits etc. I think apollo was too small.

I think this size is like a 34JJ, based on the other 75kk Brillant versus how well my nessa fits in 36J/80M (that i sister size up in the band because they're snug). It's hard to say but i do think their K is like a J and KK like JJ. So L is probably like a K.

    • And yea i can get nessa cheap on ebay and splurge on KL from their website so I'm all set now with polish for the future I guess. It was funny to order from KL though because I had to make a bank transfer and in order to do that I had to phone my bank and they'd ask me a ton of questions, it's all for money laundering, scams etc I think, but I'd have to do that every time I'd wanna do bank transfer lol. So probably won't do it often.

Ofc there's also ewa which I might give another go when shipping is back to normal because I wanna try SM cut.

Anyway yay I have a successful sports bra!

    • alidieux , I just tried out a padded sports bra (padded on the inside), it's this one from Syrokan https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dn92l/, which is on amazon canada.

Anyway, I have some thought as to *why they have the padding on the outside.* I think it's A) for modesty purposes. aka, to not show nipples through fabric. and it also could offer some cushioning if your playing sports?

      B) I wonder if having the padding on the inside makes it less supportive. Like I wonder if it's better to just have the fabric directly "squishing the breast" to provide support on these compression sports bras..

I’ve already reviewed the Betty (75KK - Kris Line » Betty Soft (1404)).

Love this bra, super comfortable, love the coverage, love the neckline. Band is nice and snug. I’m not a huge fan of white, but with this bra I don’t mind so much. It’s very pretty! It fits me very well, the only minor fit complaint is (fortunately and unfortunately) that I’ve lost some weight, so this bra is a teeny bit big. I’m going to hold on to it though because I’ll still be able to wear it for a little while longer at least. Who knows, it could even slightly shrink after being washed.

    Didn't fit

This is the first of a few Polish bras I bought on reddit. My first try with Kris Line.
The sizing of KL is kinda difficult to figure out. They don't follow EU sizing like other Polish brands (Ava, Gorsenia, Comexim...) where my size of 32J/JJ usually translates to 70M/N. Also they don't follow UK sizing as they don't go up in inch per cup size but in 2cm steps. So buying this bra was kind of a shot in the dark. Since it was very afforable I took the risk and just hoped for the best.

The bra looks really nice, materials feel good on the skin, the ... straps are a dream of every big chested girl as they are super wide and comfy! The wires don't look very narrow to me, more average, the cups are deep and roomy. The cups are made of 2 layers of thin non stretchy embroidered mesh. The material is very light weight. The band is made of thick elastic fabric. The is some side boning which kinda annyoys me, it's very weak but it still stabs a bit.

My shape: tall, narrow to average wide roots, full on top, projected, center heavy

This size 75KK is actually too big for me. By the look of it and measurements I would say it equals to UK 34JJ-K. The band is stretchy and too large for me even if I close it on the tightest setting. (But also too big cups make a band feel larger!) The cups are too tall (!) for me and too large on top. I fill out the bottom just fine and there is no wrinkling. So the bra has good projection from the wire and would work very well for fob shapes. The straps are 3cm wide and feel fantastic, I just wish they werent so wide set.

I cannot say if the bra is supportive in large sizes, as this bra doesn't do much for me my but maybe it's because it is too big? The top part of the cups I cannot fill. I assume it's about 2 cup sizes too big? So this would mean my KL size would be 75JJ or 70K? I don't think it's a bad bra and if I get the change I'd love to try 70K and see if the fit issues go away in a smaller size.

I have been wondering about Kris Line. I see them on sale at Zulilly from time to time. This is a helpful review. 6.9" width seems like it is fairly wide, but with depth of 15.0" and depth ratio 2.2 -- it does not look too wide in side view.

    • I just measured the bra and was surprised the cup depth is about what I need currently in a bra! I held the bra over another bra I worn and tried to pull the band around me and as tight as possible and it looked like the cups suddenly fit?! I think I could alter down the band on it and actually wear it then.

dfe98we Interesting about those measurements. Can we compare bras here by their depth ratio? Or do we have to do the math ourselves :D

I already own this in 75K in black, but some days it's a little small so I figured I'd get it in 75KK because I made an order directly from Kris Line, and it was on sale for ~16 pounds! Bargain.

I really love my black version of this, it's super comfortable. Putting this one on, it's crazy how stretched out the band is on my other one lmao. I could fasten this one and it's perfectly snug. That's what I love most about KL bras, the band sizes are really true to size I feel. They're never too small or too big like other brands usually are.

The fit ... I honestly don't really notice a difference in the cup between the K and KK. I always had empty space in the top of the cup becaue this bra has a bit of an odd shape, but it doesn't show or affect the fit on me overall, so I ignore the wrinkling. The rest of the cup fits basically the same as my K cup one.

The looks of this one in white is beautiful. It's super bridal. I usually don't go for white because I fake tan but for the price and since I knew it would fit me I'm not gonna complain. And if I feel like a bride in it, I don't see how that's a bad thing anyway haha. Sometimes white/beige bras can feel very maternal/grandma but this one is definitely not that so that's awesome https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

    • Interesting fit notes. Thanks, alidieux !

    • Oohh interesting I didn't even know KrisLine did direct orders?

Immediately checked out their site - but too bad for me, they don't ship to the US (:

    • 1

It seems they ship to a select few EU countries. The shipping was 61 PLN to sweden which is a little expensive but it arrived really fast and since I bought 2 bras, one being this one for really cheap, it was still cheaper than buying from the UK, especially now after brexit.

    • Congrats on finding another bra that fits - more or less :) I recently tried my 34KK to check, since I went up like 1 cup since I got it. Still got empty space on top so I totally get what you say about the odd cup fit. But if it doesn't bother you, just ignore it.

This bra came from Magda in Poland and is, unfortunately, headed back to Poland.

This bra is not what I was expecting! For the first time in my search this past year, I’ve encountered a bra that I really just hate the look of. It really looks “old lady” like to me, or at least on me.

The fit is also weird. The cups have this weird pocket on the bottom and it feels loose, unlike my other Kris Line bras that are a cup smaller. I’m not sure if this is due to the size being a cup bigger, or if it’s just this particular bra’s style. ... It definitely feels bigger, which on one hand I think I needed in Kris Line, but it just wasn’t the right fit. My 75K bras are definitely borderline small on me, so I thought this KK would have been better. Also, the top has thick elastic, which cuts in a bit but it’s unnoticeable. The gore does not tack on this bra by about 2 fingers’ width.

The overall quality doesn’t feel like my other Kris Line bras either. This one feels cheap and chintzy to me. For the price I paid, I expected more.

I feel like I can’t speak to the comfort because I didn’t wear it more than a few minutes.

Overall, not for me. I honestly think that Nessa is my new favorite bra/brand, even though Kris Line cups are deeper at the wire. Nessa just gives me the look I want and is a lot more comfortable!

I’m not sure about this one.

I love the look of the black Brilliant in other sizes, but for some reason this larger size looks...weird. And not super sexy like the other ones I’ve tried (80HH was cute!)

This ends up full coverage looking, and it’s not super flattering imho ON ME.

The overall fit is fine, it checks all the boxes, but it just seems large. I know alisa and alidieux have both tried Brilliant in this size or similar sizes and weren’t too thrilled with it either. The cups are very tall, and I do have some space at the top, ... but it isn’t super noticeable. The gore softly tacks, but it’s higher than most gores I wear so that’s probably why. The band is a good length, it has a little give to it but not much. The cups themselves are pretty narrow! Almost too narrow, but they still fit.

This bra also feels like it isn’t supportive enough! I feel like it looks like a pair of tube socks with baseballs in them. It just looks so saggy! I feel like I almost have the straps ratcheted all the way and my boobs are still not supported.

The material is fine, typical Kris Line double mesh. It’s comfortable, but just weird.

I’ll probably keep it just because I don’t want to deal with shipping it back to Poland, but idk. I wanted it so badly and I wanted it to fit and it does but it’s just...weird.

Even though the fit is kinda weird this bra is super comfortable and I'm sure you'll find use for it!! I wear mine a lot :D

    • 1

Also I dont think it looks like a weird shape on you though. Yes it's a different shape from other bras but I like how this bra looks under clothes, I almost feel a bit minimized!

    • 1

I think it’s a cup size too big. You can kind of get this torpedo shape and not enough support when the cup is too big because you’re just kind of flopping around instead of having the fabric slightly push back and hold your tissue. Or it might be the shape, I’m not as knowledgeable about Kris Line.

    • 1

cupandahalf I definitely think it’s a little of both, honestly. This particular KL style seems to run large, but I wasn’t able to get it in a 34K (it’s been discontinued). I also think it’s the shape of the cups as well, they’re very tall and basically look like slings (probably because they’re big). It’ll be a good one to lay around the house in, but I don’t think I’d be able to wear it long-term. I tried today and only got through about 4 hours before wanting to take it off. 😣

In terms of the shape, more of my other KL bras give a very rounded shape, so again probably a bit of a size issue and a bit of a style issue.

This fit really well in the band and cups, but the straps are quite wide set. It's pretty uncomfortable, but only because of the straps. I'll see if using a racerback bra clip will help, if not I'll have to move the straps.

Edit: I removed the plastic boning on the sides because it was poking me, which also some how made the straps more comfortable. I also removed the bows because they had weird little white plastic buckles on them and they looked cheap.

There's a piece of elastic or fabric tape across the top of the cups that gives me just a hint of quad boob. I'm planning to remove it. The straps are set very wide, I'll see if using a racerback clip will help and if it doesn't I'll move the straps. Otherwise, the bra feels great!
