Wine/ burgundy red. Sizing is accurate, not the usual confusing UK sizing so I have to buy one cup size smaller. I started with an UK 32E with perfect fit in cups but the band was too short. Cups on this sister size (?) was too wide and tall. I really like the expression demi so measurements for the 34D will be added in the future.

Purchased used. Bra appears to be well made. Unfortunately, I purchased the wrong size (store measured size is 3 cups smaller than the A Bra That Fits Calculator stated 32FF). Center gore rests on breast tissue and cups/wires/side wings were too small since it was the wrong size. Progressively more uncomfortable the longer I wear it. Visually, this is a very basic bra - for nursing moms who probably dont really care about the appeal vs fit/function.

Finally a bra that fits well around my breast. The shape is not as round as I'd like but it's comfortable and light. Definitely a keeper!

UK 34DD. I really like this bra; one of my best fits so far!

Material: Feels like nylon, i.e. very strong and not very stretchy. Might be too stiff/scratchy for some people.

Band: Snug and strong. Has a side seam about an inch behind the top of the cup, but no boning. The two hooks are 3/4 inch apart, if you're considering an extender.

Cups: 3-part construction, with 2 vertical top-to-bottom seams. Neither seam lies directly across my nipple. There's a lace edging across the top, but no extra elastic band across the top. Very rounded shape on me. I have a bit of gaping across ... the top of the cup (especially if I move my arms around), but not enough that I consider it a major fit issue.

Wires: I think I've found my perfect wires. I tend to have this issue where I get the width and height right, but there's a bit of empty space, sometimes only an inch wide, in the very bottom along the wire. It's like I need a U-shaped wire, but with a flatter bottom than most seem to have. This wire is perfect on me: short under my arms, medium height in the gore without poking in at the top, and in my IMF all along the bottom. Yay! Also, the wires are fairly stiff not bendy, which I'm fine with when they fit me this well.

Gore: Tacks well on me from top to bottom. Medium height, fairly well-padded wires. I'd be okay with a narrower gore, but definitely no wider.

Straps: Straps themselves are nice and comfortable, but I'd like to move them about 2 inches inward on the cups to make them sit in the right spot on my shoulder so they don't slip around (I suspect this would help or completely solve the gaping issue at the top of the cup as well). Straps are fully adjustable.

I'm usually a size 32E, and 34DD is my sister size. With the loosest hook, the band rides up slightly as I believe a size 34 band is slightly too long for me. If I use the tightest hook, there isn't much riding up. I think this bra would fit well for me in a 32E so I may grab this size in the future.

I am between sizes. 34D is too small for my larger side and 34DD is too big all around - band and cups. Mot enough center fullness, I guess.

Not really a good fit on me. I probably need a band and cup size down for it to fit properly, however I suspect the shape would still not work for me anyway.

I had both this bra and a 34DD deco honey at the same time, and for me i feel they fit very differently. the Charm seems to have a slightly narrower cup, a longer unstretched band, and the cup looks like it may be cut a bit differently at the top and sides, leading it to look like less coverage. the underwires come up slightly more, and i feel like this combined with the lower cut cup are the reasons this bra feels "smaller" than the deco honey. The band is also much less thick and rigid of a material on the Charm, so i would ... perhaps need a 32F, if not a 32E. not sure on this one.

I do get quadboob in the Honey, but not so much that it doesn't settle back down (tissue escapes from the sides after i wear it a few minutes) and become wearable. in the Charm, the quadboob is much more, although i couldn't get it to show in pictures. i feel its possible that the higher underwire doesnt let as much tissue escape, which is why it doesn't "settle". it also feels like, when im wearing the Charm, if i attempt to scoop both breasts in, one fits and when i go to scoop the other, the first breast un-scoops. Does that make any sense? i know the wires were better on the 34E Honey, but the gaping i got was horrendous.

im going to try the Charm in the 32E (only one available to exchange for) and see if the gaping is less from the higher wires and lower/tighter cup. it will probably still be too small since its the sister size of the 34DD, but let's hope!

for comparison i bought both this 34DD and the 34E, and neither quite works. this is the smaller bra, and i would call it slightly more successful. in the pictures, i have settled a bit into the bra and not scooped fully, so you cant really see just how much spillage i have going on. design wise this is pretty and simple, with little button details on the gore and a subtle dotty fishnet sort of mesh overlay on the band. The cup material is smooth and the band feels quite thick and sturdy.

I get some quad boob, more noticeably on my large side and towards the center ... bottom. though i still have it on my smaller side as well. Im FOB, so in the larger size i get gaping on top instead. I mind the quad boob less, as i could at least pull it off as cleavage in the right shirt. I think i might just not be shaped right for molded cup bras, as this is a common predicament i face with them.

The straps aren't as wide on this one, though they still seem to pinch my arm pits, especially if i reach forward at all. They've also got this strange trim on the inside edge that might be lace and is itchy as hell. Its very uncomfortable, and i dont think i could wear this for more than an hour or two without wanting to rip it off. The gore is thankfully low enough to not dig me, something i experience with many fuller cup bras that keeps me from wearing them.

The band feels snug on the first hook, but i've heard they relax a bunch. for my 34 inch measurement, this feels right as the max of how snug i could take a bra- anything more would be painful, and as is i notice feeling a little compressed. Since i don't plan on keeping this,i cant wait and see, but i imagine it would at least give another half inch or so and be more comfortable. Its worth noting the trim that is on the band is also on the bottom of the band, although i dont know if ti bother or not as all i can notice about the band is the snugness.

Thankfully i used shop runner through bare necessities and its great about returns. I've ordered a Parfait Jeanie, in the hopes that perhaps i will find a better match in that.

this is a very pretty bra- the teal with polka dots is a cute combo, and the cream lace at the tops of the cups is a great compliment. there are also bows on the cup/strap connection and gore, and a tiny trim detail along the bottom of the band.

It does technically fit me, aside from the fact that i fasten the band on the middle. It seems quite stretchy, but as i haven't worn it for long periods of time, i'm not sure if it would become too large after a few wears and need to be sized down. The demi cup is great for my shape, ... with the top of the cup laying flat against me but not cutting in. i would say i get a gentle lift and slightly rounded shape. the straps dig slightly into my armpits, but nothing extreme. Under t-shirts, the seams and the top of the cup show through.

The major downside to this bra is the fabric choices- they make it very uncomfortable. The cup lining is softer, but the outside is a sort of weird crinkly overlay, which doesnt feel the greatest. They use the same material to make the straps, and it is chafing and scratchy like sandpaper- im red even with them too loose. This is especially bad in the fronts where they rub on my underarms. If this were in a different material i would keep it, especially since i'm having such a hard time finding a well fitting bra. But, i know with something this irritating i would end up throwing it in the dresser and never using it. Its probably better as a "fun" bra than a functional bra because of the show through and material choice.

A really nice and comfortable bra in a gorgeous red colour with a lovely red-and-white dot at gore center. Light push-up effect. The top of the cups is not completely filled, but this is not a problem as it still looks OK under clothes. Very soft material, that deserves a special care to last longer.

This bra is just completely the wrong shape. It is way too small yet I still dont' fill it out. It has really narrow wires and is very rounded as far as I can tell.

It is very pretty though, and I like how see-through and thin it is, it's a fun bra.

I have close set breasts which are shallow with a wide root. I am also full on bottom. I had read this bra is a good test if you are not sure you are full on bottom, and I definitely am! It gaps at the top of the cup if my shoulders aren't set perfectly back, despite my breasts being large enough for the cups. The wires on this bra are too narrow for my breasts and I have tissue escaping at the armpits, but I cannot size up due to the top gapping. The gore is low enough that it is not uncomfortable.

When I first wore this, it seemed to fit and I raved about it, but after a few more wears it just didn't seem right. Maybe I've lost weight since I first tried it. I find a lot of Freya bras give a really pointy shape - the cups are too deep and not wide enough and I end up with an odd fit.

The front also comes up very high at the sides, not uncomfortably so, but it looks a bit odd. I'm also not 100 sold on the sheerness of this style - nips ahoy!

All in all, not the best Freya style for me. I'll stick to my glorious Deco!

    • You could try to go down a band size, and maybe a cup up, but in the way that you end up with the same cup volume but wider wire. I managed to do that, somewhat incidentally - instead of 32E I wear 30FF. At first I thought about 32F, but it turned out they have the same wires, just deeper cups. I guess you could try 32E or F.

Also, Arabella is not a real plunge, it's something between balconette and plunge, so yeah - it's not supposed to show as much as for example Deco or Retro. Another thing with Arabellas is that they have unnecessary ribbon sewn at the edge of the cups (underneath). Those ribbons are not elastic and often too short and they make the edge of cup to dig in even if the cup is ok. There is a simple solution, it can be removed with no harm for the bra, you just have to undo the seams from that ribbon. The cups lay much better after that and some people claim that the embroidery look better, too.
