My shape : pendulous, very projected, short roots, narrow roots but wide set, full on bottom, outer full. Freya Fancies is one of my best fitting bras.
I originally ordered a Freya Expression plunge, but not high apex plunge, and ended up with the high apex plunge by accident. The two cuts look a lot like each other, some sellers don't pay attention to that, and unfortunately the fit is very different. The high apex cut fits like a typical Freya plunge balcony, and especially Fancies. The cups run large, moderately narrow, very projected and very FOB. A perfect fit for me. The materials are soft, and the bra ... is elegant and very comfortable. If you need a lot of immediate projection and apex projection with cups that are very closed on top, and Fancies fits you, Expression High Apex will probably fit you too.
Unfortunately, this bra has one big flaw : the band runs large. Like, ridiculously large. Even a little bit larger than other Freya bras. I wear plenty of 34D bras. Expression's band is nearly 3 inches larger than them. It doesn't even ride up my back, it floats ! It's wearable on the tightest hook, although it rides up, obviously. The band material isn't to blame though, as it has much less stretch than other Freya bras. It just is way too big when not stretched.
I'm a bit disappointed, because this would have been a perfect fit if not for the band size. This bra is going to find a new owner and I'll sister size down.

Oh my Hufflepuff heart, this colour!!! I have seen this particular bra on a few Instagram posts from the various boob accounts that I follow. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried a Freya, and I don’t think I’ve ever tried a high apex bra like this. Needless to say, aside from the Deco, I haven’t had much luck with Freya.

The lace is a vibrant mustard yellow and has a sort of bohemian aesthetic to the lace. The upper portion of the cup is sort of a muted geometric pattern. The shape, I would say, is like a triangle bra or bralette so a bit plungey. ... Sadly, it’s not compatible with my shape. It’s partly that the cups have an elastic edge to them that cuts into my soft tissue, but it’s partly because I kind of have taller roots, even if they are shallow. Now would a larger cup have fit better? Maybe, but no point in trying because that lace would NOT lay flat.

So another beautiful autumn gem of a bra that sadly is not for me.

The band on this bra seemed much larger than expected. It fit more like a 34 than a 32. The cup is a close fit but not the right shape for me. It looks nice though I don't like the frills at the bottom.

I love this bra! The gold color is divine. I feel pretty in it. Somehow this bra provides me with centering and forward projection while also eliminating cleavage (I prefer not to have cleavage. I purchased this bra because I was tired of only buying bras that we more "balconette" style. I don't like how balconettes look, I don't like how the straps connect to the cups with the little bow. They're tolerable and just fine in a good fit, but I don't love it. This bra looked unique, and it delivered! The straps are slightly more centered because of the high apex style, and I don't ... get any of that pinchy feeling by the armpits that can sometimes happen with balconettes where the straps connect. The wires are so comfy compared to my past Cleo and panache bras! The lace overlay around the band is cute, and would make it look kind of like a longline if it would lay flat. but if you have any extra skin/tissue/body fat on your ribcage, it isn't going to stay flat. Sorry. It's not uncomfortable and doesn't bother me.

This may not count as a technically perfect fit though. Here are my "fit issues":
- the cup is somewhat closed on top with a bit of elastic. Occasionally this will cut into my tissue (not painfully) depending on how I am sitting/standing/moving. IT is not noticeable under clothing, and was less noticeable at the end of the day so I think as the elastic wears, it will diminish. However, I don't think this style would be appropriate for FOT breasts for this reason. Even-fullness and close-set breasts will likely also have an issue with it. I think it will work best for short roots(me) or FOB, even though the high apex might deter you.
-the gore is slightly too wide for me. Because the wires are soft, it doesn't hurt or bother me. I may alter it later.
- I have to wear it on the second hook. Can't buy a smaller band because it only goes up to a G cup in this style. sad face

Regardless of this, I love this bra so much I immediately purchased it in two more colors. I also got the matching boyshorts and they are so soft and comfy. Very cute set, highly recommend.

Band feels good. Wire surrounds tissue without being too long/wide. Slight wrinkling/gaping at the top near apex on my smaller side, but that's to be expected. Gore fits fine. I really like the style of the actual bra. I like the two different styles of lace and how it has more of a bralette look.

Overall, it's basically a perfect fit, I just don't like how it makes my boobs look, particularly from the side. This is the first high apex bra I've tried, so maybe other ones will give me more of a rounded shape. I'm considering keeping it though, because it's sooo comfortable and the second bra (maybe the first!) I've found that fits.

Really comfortable because it doesn't cut across my upper chest like so many other bras do. I only wish I could find this bra in a medium skin tone so I could wear it under light colored shirts. If you don't want your nipples or lace out lines to show, this is not your bra.

This bra has low swoosh shaped wires and a stretchy band. While the cup volume is correct for me, the seam at the top of the cup cuts into my tissue, creating an unflattering shape. Freya plunges do this to me as well.

High set, side full, average spaced shallow tissue at inner breast that easily becomes close set, self supporting/no ptosis, wide short roots, bit top heavy but wouldn't call my shape tall just because it goes right up from the nips to collarbones.

Extreme ambivalence. Nice color faux crochet stretch lace. Fabric rather light and flimsy, feels like it will tear easily, but it's airy and stretches a bit so there's a some breathing room. Basically the weirdest minimizer, with slight duck bill at the center of cup (pushes boobs flat anywhere they are curved, especially on top).

Outer cup cuts in, wires at gore flip inward and ... dig, but not as badly as in the curvy kate top spot (30D). Get hives easily where the upper cup quads, the apex bags up, another mediocre fit but not as bad as most I've tried. Makes my breasts look like potatoes, the partly rotten ones at the bottom of the spud bag in the fridge that get forgotten for several months at a go.

It likes to unhook itself, often find it on only 1 hook and not the both of them. Sigh. Ima keep it :/

My favorite bra so far. I'm pleased with the High Apex 'fit' of Freya, and I feel the quality of the sewing and materials is high. There is no padding and the seams do not chafe. None of the colors knock my socks off, but the underwire is one I can wear all day. It's pretty and doesn't have alot of extraneous padding - I think the look is extremely natural, as if I'm not wearing a bra. But no nipple show through and few lines under clothes. I don't like the lace underneath though - it tends to bunch up a little, and the mesh does tend to collect lint...
