This bra is too small for me to comment on proper fit, but the fabric is beautiful! I soft, ever so slightly pearlescent? Not color changing, but it has a lovely satin sheen.

It feels and fits fine: the cup lacks a tiny bit of depth and the wire on the side is a bit low, likely because I could have sizes up (I am in between sizes in comexim), the gore is also a bit too narrow but I don't mind and it is normal with comexim bras. The narrowness fits though, maybe a tad narrow on my bigger side where I could have sized up. Also, the ginger is a perfect nude for us pale (ginger...?) humans! Tip: the organic cotton brief from organic basics in the shade 'oak' is a perfect match

Mainly lacks a bit of cup depth and immediate projection: I've heard this is a common fit problem with comexim longlines, the cups being too shallow at the wire. Other than that the gore is a bit narrow but I have this problem with comexim in general and it doesn't bother me

Updated on Dec 22, 2021 Flag this

    • I wonder if it's possible to request an "un-overlapped gore" as it's my understanding that Comexim gores used to be not overlapped, people kept request "overlapped gore" and now it seems like they all are...just some thought.

  4. Burgundy Half Cup (357)

Really love the style, but it's a little too wide and shallow on the larger side. Tried a 60H but it was just a little too tall and open; might have to get my hands on a 55HH sometime. Or try a 55HH/60H with straps moved in.

Update: 55HH mostly fits. I would need to add cookie pockets for my smaller side.

    Didn't fit

The Whimsy is the first unpadded Comexim bra I've tried. Since I am between 60G and 60H in regular Comexim styles, I asked Breakout Bras whether I should size up or down in this style. I was told to size down to my smaller size because the upper cup's stretch lace would work to accommodate asymmetry. However, they did not mention to me that the cup runs much deeper and taller than their padded styles. As a result, this cup fits much larger than expected and didn't work on me.

The band is nicely true to size, measuring exactly the same as most of my ... Comexim bras (except the Celebration, which came in 2-3 cm smaller than normal). The wings are all and firm, made from the same powermesh that is used on the Basic styles. The cups are made from printed tricot that has a little bit of give. The upper cup is double layered, with stretch grey lace over white mesh, and there is a strip of elastic at the edge that has just the right amount of tension to sit nicely on the body.

However, the problem with this bra is that it is proportioned completely differently from other Comexim padded styles. Not only is the cup much taller than the Padded Plunge, the bottom cup is also much taller, so the fullest part of the cup hits higher than normal. The cup measurements are also much deeper than normal. The bottom 2/3 of the cup fits me, while the entire upper 1/3 is empty. In addition, when I added my Commando Takeouts silicone inserts, I could only get this bra to fit if I added the inserts to the top rather than to the bottom. Thus, this won't work for FOB shapes. This would only suit very FOT shapes with tall roots.

I also found that the wires in this size were so narrow that they actually pinched me and were quite painful. They seem a bit firmer than the wires on my other Comexim bras, and the shape is more of a deep U/J than a gentler C curve. Another difference in the construction is that this is a 4 piece cup with side sling, though the side panels are not as restrictive as I've found Fantasie Side Support styles to be. The gore is also lower on this style than the Comexim Padded Plunge. The fit reminds me of some of the Freya 3 piece balcony bras where the wires are a bit too narrow for me and the cups are too deep, but to the extreme.

The rest of the bra is simple in detail, with a graphite bow at the gore and strap attachments, and textured white straps that match the solid band. The cups and cradle are made of the same floral printed fabric. All hardware is white plastic. It seems like a very comfortable summer bra if it suits your shape, but I think this style will be rather tricky to fit as you cannot just order your standard Comexim size if you are not the right shape for this bra. If I had ordered the 60H (28FF), the wires would have fit better, but the cups would have been even more ridiculously large and tall.

Sadly, this is going to have to be returned, and since there's not much info on other Comexim unlined styles in my size range, I might have to pass on these styles in the future.

At first I was a little disappointed because the fabric felt so wired and stiff, and it makes a little squishing noise if I squeeze the cups, but I’m hoping it will soften a bit with wear.
When I put it on I get a little bit of quad boob, but it still feels really comfortable on, so I think I will wear it quite a bit anyway.
The band feels perfect on me and it stays in place , so I don’t need to pull it down or anything during the day, which is a big plus for me.
I will try to update this after a few more wears https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I have found my BFF of bras: Comexim plunge. It is what I've been looking for in a bra since I sprouted boobs. The wires are narrow and end at the natural edge of my breast and don't go into my armpits. The cups are deep and hold all of my tissue in a gathered, to the front, rounded, lifted shape. It's heavenly. The pattern is feminine and makes me feel pretty to wear it. I was reluctant to purchase Comexim because I wasn't sure what size to order. I bought this bra from a blogger and it fits perfectly. I'm a UK28F, fuller on bottom, close set, softer tissue.

    Didn't fit

The Comexim Basic in 60G fits similarly to a large or full-on-top UK size 28E--like the 60H fits similarly to a large or full-on-top UK 28F. (My review for that size: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/comexim/basic-170/60H/#review-13307)

Everything else, other than cup size, is still the same:
    It's shallow in the bottom.
    Narrow wire/cup width.
Massive cleavage because it presses your breasts up and to the center. I'm fuller on bottom, somewhat even, and I never expected to be able to have that much cleavage. But that much cleavage and boobs toward the center results in a uniboob look under looser t-shirts. If you wear tighter v-necks, this could be glorious.
Style ... fits like a plunge. Three-piece cup construction. Sturdy materials.
Band is tight and very comfortable, in large part due to the high wings. Stretches to no more than 28" when new, but gets stretchier with more wear. Absolute max stretch is under 29", but feels like I'm hurting and distorting the bra.
Because I have a short torso, I custom-ordered this 60G with lowered cup heights (the 60H had a towering cup height of 6.5"!), and this made it much better. They only remove fabric from the diagonal top piece, so it has half of the usual amount. Measuring from the bow at one strap to the bottom of the band, it's 5.6".
    Fully-adjustable straps.

Unfortunately, despite this looking beautiful from some angles, I got quadboob on my larger boob (the definitely 28F one.) The bra fit my 28E boob better, but that cup is just slightly too large for that side. That's why I believe the 60G fits like a large 28E. I am disappointed to be right in between Comexim's 60G and 60H sizes for their padded plunges. Wore this for two days before I decided the quadboobing was too bad.

    • A bit late too comment, but many are claiming that the Basic runs about half a cup small and is tight in the band compared to other Comexim padded plunges. You may not be entirely out of luck after all ;)

I got this from BoB on final sale for $21. I'm still figuring out my size, but I think I'm somewhere between a 26E/F. I got a 28F (60G, they didn't have a 26 band), and the shape seems to work really well for me! I'm very close set, round, with tall roots. The cup is a little too small, though. I'm keeping it, both because I can't return it and because it gives me great cleavage (I can finally throw out my old 32D pushup bras!). I'm going to try a plunge in 60H, because this bra seems very promising!

I've been curious about Comexim bras for a while, but up until recently, they haven't been the easiest to get your hands on, especially without free shipping and free returns like most of my Amazon bra purchases. Luckily, Breakout Bras has started selling a lot more on Amazon recently, which reminded me to look into their Comexim assortment, and I decided to take the plunge and grab this bra directly from their website.

Although I originally planned to get the Basic Plunge first, I saw the Magic on their website and was instantly entranced. It reminded me of a review I saw a while ago on Big ... Cup Little Cup for an emerald green Wellfitting longline bra with black trim, and I just loved the distinctive look of this combination. Luckily for me, they had a 28F listed. After messaging with Melissa from Breakout Bras, who normally recommends ordering up 2 sizes from your UK cup size (28FF), I decided to just order the 28F and hope for the best.

The bras are labeled for them by Comexim with UK sizes only, but I confirmed with their customer service and with my measurements that the original Comexim size is 60G. Now, this is very confusing because according to the Comexim website this size should be impossibly small (their chart lists 60G as 58-62 cm underbust, 81-83 cm bust), but everyone else on BTB said that ordering your normal UK size band should totally be fine, so I went with that advice. Otherwise, Comexim's size chart would put me square in the middle of a 65 and 70 band, and gives me the size recommendations of 65G and 70D. I could probably pull off the 65G but the 70D would just be crazy.

Thus for sizing, I'd definitely say the band runs TTS (their website actually says it should be impossible for me to fasten a 60 band if my underbust is 67-68 cm, but I assure you this is untrue . . . I don't even need an extender, but the fabric of this particular bra is extremely stretchy so this may not be true for all styles). I felt that the 60G cups fit well but were a little on the smaller side, and I could probably do the 60H/28FF since my larger side gets some overflow, and I feel the wires are a little narrow. Since EU sizing is based on centimeters and not inches when it comes to cup measurements, the difference in cups is a little bit smaller and more forgiving than in UK/US sizing.

Regarding the appearance, I think this bra is just stunning. The body fabric is actually a heavy stretch nylon/poly/spandex blend that is very similar to American Apparel Disco Pants or 80s workout gear, however due to the rich color, it doesn't look cheap. Inner cups are lined with cotton, and the wings are lined with black stretch tricot for further stability. The band ends in a nice deep leotard back. This bra is the style with black eyelet lace trim at the upper cups and scalloped black elastic straps. It looks great under clothing and gives both breasts an amazing shape, with no sign of the 1 cup size asymmetry that some other bras enhance.

My only feedback on this bra that makes it less than ideal is that because the straps are much thicker than I am used to, they put a lot of pressure on my shoulders, which are constantly stiff and sore due to poor posture. It is not related to the tightness of the straps, simply the amount of constant pressure on the sore muscles and nerves in the area, and I get the same kind of pain whenever I wear racerbacks. If not for this, a truly lovely bra. So happy to have had a great experience with my first Comexim purchase, and I'll be adding others soon!

    --------------------

Update: Since I have received my 60H bras now directly from Comexim, I can confirm that the main problem with 60G is that the wires are too narrow and small for me, and the cups are slightly too shallow in this size, but the 60G cup height and strap positioning is better for me. Looks like I'll be going the custom route from now on to order custom lowered 60H!

This is another bra that I picked up from Breakout Bras. It's a standard plunge cut, with overlapping wires at the gore. The colorway and design is exclusive to Breakout Bras, and it is a beautiful cool purplish grey. The styling is very similar to the Breakout Bras' version of Magic that I also own, but the upper edge of the cup is lined with soft black and white knit lace, and the center gore and straps are trimmed with two toned grey ribbons. I have owned some plain grey t-shirt bras in the past, but I've never had anything like this. The ... fabric is the same power spandex blend as used on the Magic, which is reminiscent of American Apparel Disco Pants.

The fit and specs are identical to the 60G/28F Comexim Magic that I own, except that this band is 1.6" smaller and has only 3 rows of hooks instead of 4. I can fasten it, but it's quite tight. It also only has 3 sets of hooks rather than 4 on the Magic. I assume this will stretch out to be more comfortable, but should be fine with an extender. However, because of the tightness of this band, I can tell that this cup size is indeed a cup too small for me.

In the 60G/28F Comexim Magic, my larger side showed overflow when scooped, but it fit the smaller side well. The cups fit perfectly if I don't scoop at all, but I can tell that the wires are too short for me at the sides as I get a bit of underarm bulge. However, in this even tighter band, the small cups create a bigger problem. I cannot scoop in this bra at all since the band is so tight that there's no room for scooped tissue to go. Unfortunately, I picked up both of these bras from BB on sale, so 60H/28FF hasn't been an available option.

I am happy to keep both bras as they would fit me if I lost some weight, or if I simply don't S&S.

This is my second foray into Comexim after I outgrew the first one and was down to one ill-fitting Cleo Lexi that'd stretched out really fast, and a Boux Avenue that wasn't far behind.

The Good: Again a great snug band. Fits my 27 inch ribcage like a dream on the loosest hook. Comfort wise it's like wearing nothing at all (cue the stupid sexy Flanders GIF) even after a long hospitality shift. I'm narrow-rooted, close-set and centre-full and the wires and gore are both narrow enough for me. The tartan fabric is adorable and a very rich emerald green. The straps are wide enough for traction but not ... nanna-esque. Even with the slight cup size underestimation I've made again, I don't have to adjust my boobs at all in this bra after the initial swoop and scoop. They stay exactly where I put them (looking at you, Cleo Lexi) and the gore doesn't ride up and sit on the tissue on my big side (looking at you every other bra I own.)

The Bad: I've managed to underestimate my cup size again, though in my defence I think the padded plunges run shallow and I seem to be growing very slowly so that I don't notice it until suddenly I realise I have hot-cross bun boobs in all my bras... There's a decent bit of quadding on my big side and the bottom of the cups collapse a little even on my small side, so in this cut I probably want a 60H. I get the teensiest bit of jiggle in it, so someone without my rock-hard tissue would probably find it wobbly.

The Ugly: Nothing. I truly love this bra.

I'm going to try re-ordering a couple of bras in a 60H now and see how I go. The month turn-around is tedious, but this is the best fit I've ever had and I'm seriously ready to burn that Cleo Lexi.

This was the first comexim I tried. I ordered from breakout bras, hence the UK sizing instead of EU. I'm fairly projected, center full, wideset with narrow & tall roots.

First of all, this bra is beautiful. The lace, the bows, the little shiny dots on the straps. The fabric is wonderfully soft. It is hands down one of the most comfortable bras I've worn. And the color is a perfect nude for my very pale skin.
Fit wise, I found this bra to be minimizing. The wires were a good length, but the cups weren't quite projected enough for me so it ended up giving me a flattened effect. The gore also didn't quite tack. However, the 3HC vertical seam construction meant that even though the cups were too small there wasn't any visible quadboob except for at the center when I inhaled, which wasn't visible through a shirt. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it - the lace is visible through some shirts, which limits how & when I can wear it.

Ingrid was a perfect fit for me (short roots, wide spaced, immediate projection) until I gained weight. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Now it quads and starts to hurt after a while. I think I'd just need one cup size bigger with my current measurements for it to be perfect.

Very pretty and makes me think of fall. I love the burnt orange flowers and bows. From what I've heard, this seems to be a "love it or hate it" kind of pattern, and I'm definitely in the "love it" category.

Despite the pattern, it doesn't actually show under white shirts as much as I would have thought, but I do still prefer to wear a tank top under them.

This bra is perfect. It seems it should be a bit small but some how isn't... I got this as my first custom order (Ingrid is normally a plunge) with cookie pockets, and I'm very happy with the results. I would say this bra is shallower that the plunges but not overly so. It's also more open on top, which is good for other shapes. I also noticed this band is much thicker than my other Comexims (other than Ginger) and I'm not sure why but I love it.

Overall I definitely recommend taking the plunge and ordering a custom bra from them.

Edit: I tried a 32G of the gala version of this bra that works much better, although the band is on the larger size. The burgundy bra seemed to work in multiple sizes, but the cups were too small.

I think this fits, although both band and cup could be slightly larger. The 28 band is tight, but stretches more than the band of Comexim's Basic Plunge and is comfortable. It is nice to not have to wear on the 2nd hook after wearing the bra only once https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I do get a tiny bit of quad boobing under a t-shirt. The gore is too wide but doesn't bother me too much. I love the classy look of this bra. It looks good under clothing too. The fabric inside the cups isn't soft, so that might annoy when wearing it all day.
My label says UK: 28F, US: 28G, but doesn't list an EU size.
