Great, short height to these cups. Received this from a second-hand user who never wore it but just noticed that there's a part where the seams are messed up on the band. This gives a-may-zing cleavage and it has a gorgeous design. I would recommend for short ladies.

  2. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

I haven't worn this bra for a full day yet so maybe my opinion will change about the fit… but it seems smaller than my other Comexims. It fits and is still very comfortable, but it's definitely more snug - which is bizarre because I took the measurements for the bra and they are almost exactly the same as my other Comexims! It must be the fabric or something making it have less give and be less stretchy (since this one is a shiny fabric which is very different from my other Comexim bras). I think one size up would be much too big so I'm sticking with the 75F. And even though it's more snug and the fit isn't quite as good as my other Comexims it's still 100x better than the other brands and bras I've worn! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Also, I should say I ordered the black from Wellfitting.

The cups on my Basic (and most everyone else's) seem to run about a half cup smaller than most of the other plunges, and that makes the band feel even tighter. :/ It's got the same depth and band length, but the center projection is decidedly less than, say, the projection on the Free Time.

That said, Basic is still my go-to t-shirt bra.

    • Yes! That's what it is! The center projection is less than my other Comexims (which i do have the Free Time and that fits great!). I agree that the basic will probably become my basic go-to t-shirt bra too… since it still fits and is comfortable, but I think I will go for a different nude bra now (I was debating ordering the nude in the basic too before I received it in the mail)

    • So I'm wearing it today and decided to use an extender for a while til it stretches a bit (that or I lose weight lol - I've gained 6 lbs since ordering the bra in July)

Finally got my first Comexim and wahh...it doesn't fit. I knew that this size wouldn't be a great fit, but I couldn't resist the pretty. I feel like the cups are a bit on the shallow side, but I like both the wire width and strap placement..not to wide or too narrow for me.

    • The Comexim half cups are definitely more shallow! Bummer that it didnt work out :( Joy is such a gorgeous bra! They will make it in a plunge for you instead. Maybe that cut will work better for you?

  4. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

Great fit. I love the simplicity and versatility of the "basic" look, it goes with everything and disappears nicely under white shirts.

Cups: OMG, perfect for my narrow, projected breasts (for size reference, I'm typically 30F in UK, or 65FF in Ewa Michalak). I'm also soft-tissued and close-set, so the narrow, tall gore is great, too. The cups are tall enough that they enclose my tissue and don't give me quad-boob. Just a nice, rounded shape.

Band: Very firm. I had some painful red marks at the end of the day. Same result with an extender, which makes me think it's not too small, exactly, just rubs me the ... wrong way (literally). Still, even with that, it's one of my best bras.

Construction: 1 vertical and 1 horizontal seam. Very lightly foam padded. 3 hooks!

Materials: 74% polyamide, 20% polyester, 6% elastane. The interior cup fabric is more matte/soft than the shiny exterior fabric. The only change I would make to this bra is a cotton interior. I tend to get sweaty and itchy by the end of the day.

T-shirty friendly: Yes! The cup is mostly smooth with some subtle top lace.

UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER: The band never stretched out! This is still digging in, even with the extender. It's not worth it anymore.

Irish Coffee is my first Comexim and a result of a bra swap via Bratabase. It was a bit of a gamble, as I was clueless about the sizing. It turned out to be a pretty close to perfect fit, actually. Being uneven means that no bra will ever fit perfectly, aaaghhhhh....
This is a well made, good quality bra that I am currently using with an extender - this way I have lesser a quad on my bigger side. The brown and cream would not be my first choice otherwise, but have absolutely no regrets. It works well with my even to FOB shape and I am ... happy with the wing height - a very important factor for petites! First bra exchange completed and looking forward to a few more... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Edit: Loosening the band imroved the fit, still need the extender. Gives a nice shape under clothes, offers great support to FOB with average projection breasts. Too hot in the summer.
Edit: The straps I don't like, way too stretchy. Thinking about adding a stiff fabric to it to block some stretchiness.

Straps, Gore and cups fit perfect. The band is a bit tight. I will wear it with an extender until it stretches enough. I will be ordering more comexom bras and Anna Parnell.

    65H

    Didn't fit

I ordered this 65H Comexim Jacqueline Bra with three custom features:
    (1) Reduced (lower than standard) cups
    (2) Reduced (lower than standard) center gore
    (3) Hooks and eyes that are 3x3 instead of the 3 columns and 2 rows that are probably standard in this size

I enjoy these custom features, but Jacqueline has a fatal flaw: the wires are too narrow. The 5" cup width I found when measuring it confirms this. I am annoyed this bra's width is exactly the same as that of the 65G Comexim Jacqueline I ordered and received at the same time. Despite the customizations, the center gore is perhaps half an inch higher than ideal ... for me, but this would be tolerable if not for the wire width.

The black and white houndstooth type pattern is striking. The red trims are true red and perfectly complement the black and white pattern of the cups. This is a well designed bra. I cannot recall seeing a similar looking bra anywhere.

The piece of fabric that contains the hooks had sharp edges when I received the bra. This flaw occurred on several of my Ewa Michalak bras, too. I don't expect the perfect comfort of a Prima Donna or Fauve bra at Polish bra prices, but I am disappointed so many Polish bras actually cut me. I was so tired of the cutting, I sanded down the top and bottom of the rectangular fabric piece containing the hooks. It looks worn now, but it won't draw blood.

My next customized Comexim will be an Anna Pardal model, ordered through Sophisticated Pair in North Carolina. Erica, Sophisticated Pair's owner and Comexim enthusiast, has already set this in motion with an email to Anna. In addition to the three customizations I enjoyed in the Jacqueline, I've requested straps that are closer set in front and higher coverage under the arms. Anna B., an Anna Pardal employee, requested clarification, so I sent her my preferred cup width, cup depth, and center gore height. I hope the higher price point of Anna Pardal's Comexim bras will spare me sharp edged bra parts.

This is a lovely bra (a bit more of a dramatic plunge than some of the Comexim I've tried). The beige on it is warmer and a bit darker than on the basic. The cups are just a tad too tall for me and I'm confident that with a cup reduction 55J would fit. I think most women in this size are going to want the cup reduction. The band on this is actually fairly stretchy. I was surprised that it stretches to around 27 inches, so don't plan on it running small. I like the fact that this is an updated basic and if it had fit me I would have kept it.

    • I love this bra. I actually emailed Anna to see if she could still make one in a 60HH. It looks like it might be the older shape reminiscent of the Mint Sorbet I had. Regardless, I much prefer the aesthetics of this bra (and the shade of beige) over the Basic. Of course I'm late to the Comexim party and a lot of the "plain" bras of theirs are discontinued. It's only available on the site in 60J now. Guess I'll find out.

Custom size bought secondhand NWOT. Crazy sizing inconsistency. Fits like 32G/GG
Wires are perfectly narrow, but very soft.
Gore doesn't tack and cups cut in a bit. I think the cup is too shallow and possibly too short since my nipples are right at the edge.
Band is very stretchy, fits like a 32. Only 2 columns of hooks.
    BEAUTIFUL fabric.

    • Comexim uses EU sizing. 65L is the same as UK 30HH and this bra is known to run big in band and small in cup so 32GG equivalent seems very reasonable to me.

If it's you on the photos then this bra doesn't fit you at all. You are wearing the underwires too low and that can fuck up the fit majorly: http://brasandbodyimage.com/2012/09/05/putting-your-bra-on-properly/

    • I'm aware the fit isn't technically perfect. I can live with a floating gore, and the cutting in didn't show under some clothes, but I did decide to sell it on. It wasnt a bra I ever wanted to reach for because I knew it could fit better. And Actually, the wires are definitely in my IMF in those pictures. I guess between my center fullness and close set breasts it looks like they're too low. I've noticed this with some of my other bras too, even when I know they're up in my fold.

    • Eta: (hmm can't edit post) I know how comexim sizes too. I wear a 75J in comexim, which is why I was surprised that I could even get this on. It is a sister size, but 2 bands smaller which shouldn't fit by any logic. Thanks for the conversion though, very helpful for anyone that isn't that familiar with it :)

In contrast to the reviews I read about the Comexim Joy (379) Longline which seems to run very loose, the regular Joy Halfcup version runs super tight in the band!
I have a 29" loose underbust and the 65 band is too tight for me, stretching to only 28.3".

The cups run small by about 1 size but I think that's common in Comexim halfcups.

My recommendation: Size up both in the band and in the cup.

This one is sadly much too big. I had though basic ran small in the cups, but this is definitely at least a size larger than the Vivien and Ginger I have in 60HH with alterations. The band (as I've found with all the Comexim bands) is a tad stretchy/large. I prefer a very firm 28. If I order from them myself I'm definitely getting a 55. This bra has no alterations so it's quite tall in the cups. I really wish this fit me!!! I need a T-shirt bra. Anyone want to trade for other Polish?

  16. Arabella Plunge Bra (334)

I'm not 100% sure about this bra. I was very excited to get it; my first purchase of a used bra, my first bra from Bratabase, my first red bra, my second Comexim. As soon as it arrived I excitedly pulled it out of its package and set to taking pictures of it.
It looks good on. It measures great. I think it's very pretty. The fabric is super soft. I don't think I've ever had a bra with such soft fabric.
But I'm not sure the fit is perfect? Maybe it's because the band has stretched out. I first put it on the 2nd out of the four ... columns of hooks, because I immediately felt that the last would be too loose. But I didn't actually feel supported - when I walked, my boobs were still jiggly. So I washed it (and was surprised to see a bit of red colour run; the colours don't look any different after, so I won't worry about it) and put it on again on the tightest hooks. This was a bit better. I wonder what that means for the longevity of this bra, or other Comexims. I haven't worn it for longer than a few minutes at a time, yet.
Also one of the underwires squeaks a bit when I move. Not too worried about that, but it's a bit odd.

To summarize, I'm happy with this bra's appearance and initial comfort, I'm happy to have bought it, I think I'm happy with the fit, but I worry that the longevity will be mediocre. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

ETA [07/18/15]: So I've now worn this bra several times. It's very comfy, and again, I love how soft the fabric is. The stretchy band makes it less supportive (running or jumping in this bra is definitely noticeable), but it's still quite wearable.

Based on pics, it looks like the cups are a bit tall on you. It doesn't seem to gap, so that's good, but the cups appear taller than what they ought to be. Do you know if there were any alterations on it? The gore looks lower as well, which might be why the cups appear taller.

As for the band, it was my experience the band on this bra is really stretchy! So I think it's just the bra. I wasn't super crazy about the print, which is why I sold it, but I remember it being super comfy and soft. So it'd make a great period bra (coincidence it's in red ;P), or when you just don't want to feel constricted. I still think it's a great fit on you!

    • I've heard people mention squeaky wires occasionally, but I dont know what that means.

But i have to say I think this looks amazing on you!

also, I jiggled more than I like in my favorite bra .. .but it fits the best, so I just live with it

    • 1

      Thanks you two!

I don't know if it was ordered with any alterations. madbethcash didn't mention any, so I assume it's as usual.
How do you tell if cups are too tall? I've heard people mention that problem before, but I'm not sure I've ever been able to see it.

That's good to know, about the band.
It really is comfy and soft!

By squeaky wires I mean that when I move while wearing the bra, it makes an audible kind of squeaky noise, which I think is the fabric rubbing against the wire, or something in that area. It's not terrible and it might even go away if covered by clothing. Not sure yet.

And I totally agree, it LOOKS amazing! If bras were just for posing and looking pretty, this would definitely get an A. The fit looks good and just the whole thing looks good.
I'll just have to keep seeing how I feel about the actual support level as I wear it. :)

    Didn't fit

This is my 2nd try with this bra, and will not be my last! It's too gorgeous not to find a good fit. I think I reviewed many of the aesthetics in my review of the 60HH, but if I didn't: gorgeous neutral beige shimmery cups overlayed by hunter green lace + a gore charm + lots of other little details = pure beauty and uniqueness.

Since my 60HH was a third-or-fourth-hand Poison Ivy, nobody was sure if it had alterations, but the seller didn't think it had reduced cups. Like I mentioned in my adventure, I'm now thinking it HAD to have been reduced. ... I bought this 60J new directly from Comexim and decided not to ask for any alterations, partly based on my assumption the 60HH was not reduced and that one full cup size up would yield a better fit and also partly because it was returnable to Comexim if for some reason it didn't work. Unfortunately, there's a HUGE difference in how the 60HH fit and this one fits. While I fill out the bottoms, sides, and center of the cup, there's a good inch of empty space at the tops of my new one's cups. So, I've decided the 60HH was reduced, and I'll need to order a reduced cup 60J for this particular style and probably most Comexims I pick going forward.

I am so sad, because Comexim is on vacation right now so it will be probably 6 weeks before I can have a replacement in my hands. But ladies, this is such a gorgeous bra. It really is a fantastic addition to your lingerie wardrobe. I will not give up on it until I find the right Poison Ivy for me!! The wires are wonderfully narrow and the cups are projected and the shape is just perfect for me, and I'm a huge sucker for hunter green anything.

This bra just doesn't fit me right. It was my first venture into Comexim territory and was a big miss. The gore floats, I get quadboob, and I'm not getting any lift. Definitely the wrong style and size for me.

Pros: it's a fantastic basic. The beige color and smooth fabric disappears under clothes. It's a very well-made bra. The reduced cup height (as I was told by the woman who sold it to me) did keep this bra from riding up onto my armpits, making it really comfortable.

    Didn't fit

The 70G Comexim Georgia I ordered through wellfitting.com was supposed to have the same customizations I had done to the 65H Jacqueline Bra, which I bought directly from Comexim a few months earlier:

    Lowered gore
    Reduced cups
    3x3 hooks and eyes
    Higher sides

If I had known about moving straps inward, I would've requested that customization, too.

The 70G Georgia's cups are deeper than those of my 65H Jacqueline. The cup height, gore height, wing height, and 3x3 hooks/eyes are the same. When I lay the Georgia on top of the Jacqueline, the wire width is the same. This is appropriate, since they are sister sizes--or are they?

The Georgia is deeper. The ... top of the cups gape slightly, and I don't get the front and centeredness of the Comexim Jacqueline or of my Ewa Michalak 3Ds, Pl Onyks, and strapless bras. My breasts naturally point straight ahead, have no space between them, and, after wearing properly fitting plunge bras for a year, have a fair amount of fullness near the center gore. When I wear a bra, I want to maximize fullness toward the center gore by pulling my ample side tissue forward.

It appears reports that Comexim doesn't do sister sizes the way Ewa Michalak or UK brands do is correct. I am having the same issue with my Comexim Arizona, which I ordered with the Georgia. The good news is if you're half a cup between cup sizes in one Comexim band size, getting a sister size that isn't really a sister size may solve that problem.

The fabric part the hooks are embedded in has sharp edges. This flaw is prevalent among Comexim and Ewa Michalak bras. The Comexim Georgia, Comexim Arizona, Comexim Jacqueline, and many of my Ewa Michalaks are sharp enough to make me bleed. I don't expect the same comfort of, say, a luxury brand like Prima Donna for these prices, but no bra should be sharp enough to cause its wearer to develop scabs from doing absolutely nothing physically active while wearing it. I'm going to replace the hook section of my Jacqueline Bra, which does fit fairly well, with a softer version.

I am disappointed the Comexim Georgia doesn't fit well because its printed lace fabric looks nice, not cheesy. Skipping actual lace in favor of printed avoids the bumpiness and friction of real lace. I like my bras to be a non-issue under clothes. This bra has seams on the exterior of the cups, but they don't show under my tops. I also have no bluish greenish bras. I need some. I might reorder this in a customized 65H. It takes so long to get bras from Poland, though.
