  1. Body By Victoria Wireless (241-207)

Normally I wouldn't buy a VS bra, but I found this basically brand new in a thrift store for $1.50 and couldn't pass it up. It's a non-wired padded cup bra with lace detail on the cups. It has four colums of clasps which is nice and right now I'm on the second from the loosest. I usually need shallow cups, but wow, these are super shallow, bu they work for me, actually give me a bit of cleavage. The band is snug and the material is soft so it doesn't dig in or itch. The straps are non-stretch in the front and ... not full length adjustable and I can't shorten them quite enough as I'd like, but they are convertible so I can criss-cross them in the back and then strap length is no longer an issue. I recently wore the bra on an international flight, so I had it on for close to 24 hrs and it remained surprisingly comfortable and I wasn't looking to rip it off in the bathroom in the middle of the flight, which I have done before https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

There's nothing better than a comfy bra at an awesome price! Glad it works for you!

    • Thanks for the addition to the database. I know VS really isn't so bad, it's just their darn "fitting techniques and lack of inclusivity!

I love this bra!! I have shallow, wide, FOB breasts and usually struggle to find a bra that doesn't gape at the top of the cup. I've learned that demi bras are great for me. Apparently, I'm actually a 30C/30D, but I can often wear VS in 32C on the middle hook. The underwire of this bra is perfect on me - it gives great support, shape and cleavage. Even more impressive given that it's unlined!! Haha this gives me hope that I can find other lacy unlined (or quarter cup) bras that will look good on those of us with small breasts - does anybody have any recommendations?

If you like VS bras, try Aerie. They have 30D, so I recommend that size. Betsey Johnson and b.tempt'd also make 30D and are great for shallow and broad rooted shapes.

If you're looking for VS bras for cheap, you can find a lot on eBay as well as poshmark & Mercari. I got a few unlined VS bras for about $10 or so.

    • Thank you ladies - I'll be browsing this weekend! :)

This bra is mildly uncomfortable. It feels like the underwire is cutting into my rib cage. I thought the band might be too tight...but then it has the classic symptom of riding up slightly in the back, although it passes the 2 finger test on the smallest hook. Photos sure illuminate problems...I notice it creates "armpit fat" which doesn't exist when not wearing the bra. I am pretty sure the size is just wrong for me. It's one of the only 32C bras I own - most in that size are just too big all around. I thought this fit well when I bought it though.

I used ... to think of this as a good fitting bra because 1) the band feels more fitted than most 32 band bras I own 2) the center gore actually lies flat against my chest 3) my boobs don't spill out the top, but there is also no gapping 4) It is flattering in that it's not padded, but I still appear full-ish with it. That is a rarity for non-padded bras and me.

I realize now it is ill-fitting because 1) the underwire cuts into the sides and my breast tissue spills out in the arm pit area 2) it relies too much on the straps for support 3) the band rides up a little & it's on the smallest hook. The photo really shows it does not lift me as much as it could, nor contain all of my breasts.

I like the style. I find demi-cups flattering. The lace & bright yellow color makes this hard to wear under much though. The quality seems nice, but then I don't wear it too often, and I think it's only been washed twice.

*EDIT* - Okay I edited this to say that I tried the "scoop" with this bra, where you smoosh your "armpit fat" back into the cup where it belongs, and my bra cup seriously overfloweth, creating the dreaded quadra-boob effect. So I am revising this to say, no, the cups don't fit at all; my boobs just tend to spill out the sides instead of the top, probably due to their teardrop shape. I also pulled the band down to where it should sit (it doesn't ride up a lot; just an inch or so), and when I did that it was very clear there is an extra inch of band length I don't need. When I pinch the band tight, the cups also become obviously too small.

Ah, the dreaded VS. They sent me coupons somehow and I decided why not. The saleswoman measured me as 32C, and as far as I knew back then, she was on the dot because it was so refreshing wearing a new non-stretched bra. I've since scoured through the resources on ABTF and learned this is not true, but at least she used underbust and overbust measurements only, and I'm blessed with a pretty average build not that far off from the matrix.

Finally, a push-up that actually pushes up. I didn't think it was possible for someone my size to get butt cleavage but here we are. On the ... other hand, I can't tell if this is actually just a bad fit squeezing my breasts together. Everything is, as best as I can put it, mostly right. Like, so many slightly wrong things that aren't wrong enough to warrant changing sizes or getting rid of the bra. I quadboob on my bigger side, but it's hardly noticeable even to me. The band is stretchy and rides up over the course of the day, but feels pretty snug otherwise. The gore doesn't tack, but it's only like 7mm off. The wires are technically too narrow and don't cover all my tissue, but I have firm tissue that's mostly up front already so nothing gets poked. If I have any real complaints, it's the itchiness of the hook and eye part. Ye gods is it annoying to keep reaching back there.

It is very cute and playful, but it is not comfortable to wear all day. The straps are too loose when set the normal way, and when they are set to criss cross, the straps dig in painfully because of how thin they are. The material can feel a bit itchy at times. The top of the cups can fold down if you accidentally brush them the wrong way. The band is too thin and narrow for my liking. The band has little support. You constantly feel the wires due to the thin material.

    Overall:
AWESOME for flirty fun or a hot date (as the name suggests), but not something to count on as a comfy, everyday supportive bra.

This was my favorite pushup until the edges of the cups started curling outwards. Now you can see the outline easily through pretty much all of my shirts, but it's my only nude bra so I've been wearing it anyway. I wonder if it's because I don't hand wash. It's too big for me but it's still pretty comfy. Would recommend if you're getting the right size and take better care of it than I have.

This is one of the best-fitting bras I've found from Victoria's Secret. It might not be the "sexiest" but it's definitely an awesomely comfortable everyday bra, and it has restored my faith in their claim that their products fit most sizes -- it really just depends on the frame of the bra. The lining is extremely comfortable and the straps are stretchy and adjustable. Band might not be quite tight enough, but it works out alright.

    Didn't fit

Even though technically my fit assessment says 'didn't fit', I was being WAY more discerning than I have been in the past with all my push-up bras -- partly because, with this bra, the fit is close enough to see the "nitpicky" details.

Before I say anything else, know that my review will be colored by the fact that this is the first non-push up bra I have been sized for, and I am officially a convert. I'm so excited about finding a style of bra that is more appropriate for my breast shape that I'm a little biased in favor of this bra despite the fact that ... I think there are some fit aspects that might have room for improvement.

First, the center gore is kind of tall, and it lies flat against my sternum on the bottom but not on the top. I'm not sure what exact fit issue this is indicative of, but whatever it is, it must be pretty minor because my overall impression of this bra is that I would wear it every day (and probably will until I find more appropriately-fitting unpadded ones).

As you can see in the picture, the straps look kind of far apart. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be problematic or not. However, I lift a lot of weights and have kind of broader-than-average shoulders for a girl of my (short) stature, so that might be a part of it. Either way, from what I can tell so far it doesn't bother me too much.

The cups are the perfect size for my boobs. They fill it completely without leaving any overflow, and there is no gapping. They also have the same nice soft lining that the dream angels push up has, which really is kind of like "a memory foam pillow for your boobs" (-my manager). With the demi it's not so much a pillow as a layer, but you get the idea.

Anyway, overall, I love this bra, and hope that I will continue to do so (and that the band won't stretch too much) as I continue to wear it.

    • If the center gore does not lie flat on the top, that means in general that the cup is too small, that your breast tissue if forcing the cup away from the body to get room. This might also happen when the band is too big, as it then doesn't have the tension to press flat.

    • Sorry... In your case it seems as if the band is too big (it is riding up at your back and sides) and the cups are definitly still too small. So, a 30DD is probably the size you should be wearing in this style. (the center gore should _always_ lie flat in a bra that fits)

    • Nesoa -- thanks for your input. You're probably right; I would love the opportunity to try a 30DD. Unfortunately, since we don't carry those at VS, I've had to work with what we do have...and I think this is as close as I'm going to get to a proper fit from there.

    • You're probably right, but I would love to see you in a 32D in it, which I think that with some scooping you should be able to fill out great. :) Especially if you wear the bra on the tightest setting (which you shouldn't do, but, isn't it better to have the bra as a good fit in the beginning, than too big in the band all the time). :)

    • this isn't the first time I've heard the word scooping, but now I must ask, what does it mean exactly?

    • This is the best video I've ever seen to show it: http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/Jak-poprawnie-zalozyc-biustonoszs-VIDEO--cinfo-pol-4.html (don't worry about the polish, just look at the video).

Basicly, you take your left hand and put it into your right cup. Then you pull all the breast tissue from under the arm into the cups, and the same thing with the other side. In general when we put on a bra some breat tissue always escapes under the arm under the wire, and wires pressing on breast tissue is not very comfortable, and, not healthy either. And don't worry, I haven't known about it for many years either, sadly this isn't often taught in bra stores. :(

    • I'm going to disagree on the cup size suggestion...because this is a Demi, NOT a full coverage. Not all bras are meant to sit at ones neck...

    • A size up would not sit at her neck at all. It would still be a demi bra. Demi refers to the cut, not to the cleavage level. If wires don't lie flat at the top in a 32C-cup the cup is too small.

    • It was a joke...

I did not mention anything about cleavage level. Demi is cut lower and straighter across. A larger cup may be too big and she'll probably be tightening the straps more better lift and support, as I've seen so many people do on here when they think they have a good fit. Thus a demi in a larger size would soon turn into a high cut balcony and that's not the shape this bra promotes. I actually do have experience with this particular bra...

    • Wires not lying flat certainly are a big indication, but look at.where the cups are positioned on her. If they were appropriately spaced in the center for her shape then the cups would sit exactly where they should. Instead they're too far apart which causes the closed off appearance in the center. Her breasts are not wide set, and the wire is reaching back far enough for her, maybe not for you. Also because of the construction of this bra, a flimsy stretch lace band with no side wings, the support is not as good as it should be, size aside.

Another Victoria's Secret bra that runs true to no size whatsoever but its own brand. Unlike regular VS secret bras, everything PINK I've owned -- panties, shirts, bras, whatever -- has had a size that runs very small. This bra is no exception. Most of the VS bras I have in a 32C I think are too big, but this one might be a little too small. It is low-cut to begin with, and I think it's a little small on the sides too. For some reason I still wear it as my most frequent t-shirt bra, probably because it's so goddamn soft.

Of all the Victoria's Secret bras I have (and dislike for various reasons) this one is actually my favorite, and fits me pretty decently. I think the only potential downside is the fact that a) racerback straps are kind of a pain in the ass and b) occasionally I think I get a slight quad boob effect, but it's not too noticeable. It fits snugly and looks great. Despite the fact that it's a Victoria's Secret bra -- and this is saying a lot -- I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

The only thing I really like about this bra is it offers great support WITH straps and moderate support without straps, making it pretty versatile. However, it doesn't fit me terribly well, and as a strapless bra requires constant tugging up to maintain any sort of lift/keep the band from slipping. I think part of this is due to the weight of the padding, and the fact that it's a VS bra and therefore does not fit me as well as I'd like (they don't care 30DD or 28E, which I think is closer to my actual size)

Surprisingly enough, I like this bra precisely because of the separation that looks so dubious (at least, that I was skeptical about as a slightly small/pointy boob-haver) but this is one of the only bras I own where the gore (admittedly there isn't much of one, it's more like a padded underwire) fits flat against my sternum. Gives good lift and support but the racerback-style straps are a MAJOR pain in the ass. Unfortunately if I wear it with the straps attached normally (straight-on), they are WAY too long.

I wore this bra a lot. It’s a great t-shirt bra if you’re looking for something of that nature. I didn’t know until recently that it was an ill fit. When I scoop and swoop I have a lot of spillage over the top of the cup. For me the straps would fall off frequently. You can tell the material is a bit cheap as there is a decent amount of pilling on the cups and the band for only 3-4 months of wear. Personally I didn’t enjoy the thinness of the band, it felt like I was not getting enough support (but I know this is personal preference) In general if you’re looking for an affordable option to go with most shirts and tank-tops or is the start of your ABTF journey, this is a reasonable option.

This is my mom’s old bra (lightly worn) so the measurements might be slightly stretched. Not a perfect fit for me but it doesn’t make my permanently injured shoulders/traps hurt which is awesome. The cleavage is also quite mint. See my profile for my measurements, I think my actual size would be 30DD?? Or 30D?

This is a semi-sheer, plunge style bralette with underwires. The cups are seamless, made entirely of buttery soft elastic mesh material, with a layer of thin mesh beneath each cup to keep from being completely see-through and matching lace trim. Honestly one of the prettiest and most comfortable materials I've tried, sadly it's in the wrong size. The cups were too small and I had tissue spill on the tops and sides. The most impressive part for me though, is in spite of being a poor fit, not having very strong/firm material, seamed cups or a full band, it was still able to give me some support and a natural rounded profile. If this came in at least a J cup (US) it would have made the perfect summer bra for me.
