    Didn't fit

Even though technically my fit assessment says 'didn't fit', I was being WAY more discerning than I have been in the past with all my push-up bras -- partly because, with this bra, the fit is close enough to see the "nitpicky" details.

Before I say anything else, know that my review will be colored by the fact that this is the first non-push up bra I have been sized for, and I am officially a convert. I'm so excited about finding a style of bra that is more appropriate for my breast shape that I'm a little biased in favor of this bra despite the fact that ... I think there are some fit aspects that might have room for improvement.

First, the center gore is kind of tall, and it lies flat against my sternum on the bottom but not on the top. I'm not sure what exact fit issue this is indicative of, but whatever it is, it must be pretty minor because my overall impression of this bra is that I would wear it every day (and probably will until I find more appropriately-fitting unpadded ones).

As you can see in the picture, the straps look kind of far apart. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be problematic or not. However, I lift a lot of weights and have kind of broader-than-average shoulders for a girl of my (short) stature, so that might be a part of it. Either way, from what I can tell so far it doesn't bother me too much.

The cups are the perfect size for my boobs. They fill it completely without leaving any overflow, and there is no gapping. They also have the same nice soft lining that the dream angels push up has, which really is kind of like "a memory foam pillow for your boobs" (-my manager). With the demi it's not so much a pillow as a layer, but you get the idea.

Anyway, overall, I love this bra, and hope that I will continue to do so (and that the band won't stretch too much) as I continue to wear it.

    • If the center gore does not lie flat on the top, that means in general that the cup is too small, that your breast tissue if forcing the cup away from the body to get room. This might also happen when the band is too big, as it then doesn't have the tension to press flat.

    • Sorry... In your case it seems as if the band is too big (it is riding up at your back and sides) and the cups are definitly still too small. So, a 30DD is probably the size you should be wearing in this style. (the center gore should _always_ lie flat in a bra that fits)

    • Nesoa -- thanks for your input. You're probably right; I would love the opportunity to try a 30DD. Unfortunately, since we don't carry those at VS, I've had to work with what we do have...and I think this is as close as I'm going to get to a proper fit from there.

    • You're probably right, but I would love to see you in a 32D in it, which I think that with some scooping you should be able to fill out great. :) Especially if you wear the bra on the tightest setting (which you shouldn't do, but, isn't it better to have the bra as a good fit in the beginning, than too big in the band all the time). :)

    • this isn't the first time I've heard the word scooping, but now I must ask, what does it mean exactly?

    • This is the best video I've ever seen to show it: http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/Jak-poprawnie-zalozyc-biustonoszs-VIDEO--cinfo-pol-4.html (don't worry about the polish, just look at the video).

Basicly, you take your left hand and put it into your right cup. Then you pull all the breast tissue from under the arm into the cups, and the same thing with the other side. In general when we put on a bra some breat tissue always escapes under the arm under the wire, and wires pressing on breast tissue is not very comfortable, and, not healthy either. And don't worry, I haven't known about it for many years either, sadly this isn't often taught in bra stores. :(

    • I'm going to disagree on the cup size suggestion...because this is a Demi, NOT a full coverage. Not all bras are meant to sit at ones neck...

    • A size up would not sit at her neck at all. It would still be a demi bra. Demi refers to the cut, not to the cleavage level. If wires don't lie flat at the top in a 32C-cup the cup is too small.

    • It was a joke...

I did not mention anything about cleavage level. Demi is cut lower and straighter across. A larger cup may be too big and she'll probably be tightening the straps more better lift and support, as I've seen so many people do on here when they think they have a good fit. Thus a demi in a larger size would soon turn into a high cut balcony and that's not the shape this bra promotes. I actually do have experience with this particular bra...

    • Wires not lying flat certainly are a big indication, but look at.where the cups are positioned on her. If they were appropriately spaced in the center for her shape then the cups would sit exactly where they should. Instead they're too far apart which causes the closed off appearance in the center. Her breasts are not wide set, and the wire is reaching back far enough for her, maybe not for you. Also because of the construction of this bra, a flimsy stretch lace band with no side wings, the support is not as good as it should be, size aside.

    Didn't fit

It's the only bra I've been able to wear previously to finding out my actual size. It's comfortable, but the band is too big, and the cups don't fit properly.

I like the cups and straps on this bra, but the band is very big, and has stretched even more over time.Otherwise it's comfortable.
