  1. Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)

I've found the perfect bra for me! Ok, well maybe I could do with a 28H because the cups are a little on the small side, but the fabric is so stretchy that it doesn't matter. I feel like this bra was made for me - the shape is perfect. I have bottom-heavy, high-nippled, wide boobs and it's hard to fit them into anything (the deco also works well, but the band is too big). But this fits like a dream! And it is very comfortable - no poking wires, no rough seams. The fabric is very stretchy and yet supportive.

The best thing, for me anyway, is ... the band. Most people seem to need to go up a bandsize in this bra - I usually have the opposite problem as being 25" around my ribcage, 28 band bras are to big on me. This one is by far the best fit I've ever had - it's more like a 27 than a 28, and I can wear it on the middle or loosest hooks which is a first! If you usually buy a 28 you'll probably find this band is too tight, but for those who need an ever-elusive 26, this is a good compromise. I currently have this in berry and white.

    Pros:
    - high quality
    - stretchy fabric
    - subtly sexy
    - small band size good for those who need a 26 or less

    Cons:
    - cups a bit on the small side, go up 1 or 2 cupsizes
    - band will be too tight for those who usually fit a 28
    - will not be flattering on all breast shapes

edit - I've requested fitting help with this as I've grown in both breasts and it no longer feels as comfortable. I still love it though!

    • Can you tell me how the pink and the white compare? I have it in pearl, black, and purple; the black runs a full cup size smaller than the pearl, and the purple is smaller than pearl too. I want to get a berry but I don't know how it compares! Are yours different from each other at all?

      Thank you!

    • The white is definitely smaller than the pink in this size. I can't wear either any more, but of the two the white is more like a G than a GG. I would say the berry (pink) is a true GG.

    • Thank you!

ROCHA: IS FOR PETITES, SHORT ROOTS, OR WTF? STAY TUNED AS THE SAGA CONTINUES

1 WEEK UPDATE: Finally sliced through Rocha's tight stitching and replaced straps with temporary tabs so I can use the straps from my Freya Icon. Confirming straps in this size run a scant foot long max.

Worn for half hour we find the Typical Panache Problems:
-Too-tall ... armscye that cuts into the shoulder (despite being extra deeply curved!), CHECK
-Oddly flattening wall-of-side support panel that makes a weird vertical internal quadding line
-Closed in upper cups that aren't stretchy enough for even upper breasts
-Loads of space in the very center of cup, but the outer thirds are more compressive and flattening which leads to-

    THE WIRES

PANACHE BABY WHAT R U DOING.

EVEN MY PARTNER IS SHOOK "WHY ARE THEY USING ACTUAL RAW GUILLOTINE BLADES?

    STOP. FFS. RIGHT NOW.

Can't tell whether I'm dealing with a cup sized too small/tall as usual, or something truly deep enough to actually fit very well once I scale out all the non-petite friendly junk in the scaling. (for reference waist, ribs and armscye are kids size 12, with womans' size 16 shoulders- extremely short wide breast shape).
Despite the experimental hassle of ongoing surgery there's a LOT of features going for this style that makes it a great option for the shorter and fuller among us (Ellace fans, are you listening?)

I'm now off to complete the following modifications:

-Underwire swap (U flexi wires from Bra Builders- these are effing amazing if you are looking for that barely there polish style 'invisible' feel)
    -Wire overlap
    -Gore narrow
-Armscye curveout (even tho she really do be accommodating for less side-set/side-full people)
-Picking out the soft stretch band sewn into the top of the stretch lace upper band.

Because the upper gore stabs (bottom of wire being pushed out?), wires distort and sit over the inner breast at gore, gore being too wide pushes the cups down, the top is too closed in to comfortably tolerate digging into upper breast from the underwire dancing, and hah of course my armpit boobs being shoved up into the armscye which squishes into them and presses everything out into tail of spence is a huge oh hell nah.

STAY TUNED (god I am so tirrrrred)

(back to our previously scheduled review- first impressions)

The cups seem to match the measurements, but.... UGH. These straps are about 6" too short to do anything with. The entire bra is dragged WAY up into my armpits and super high on my chest negating the low cut and deep facets that make it special -_-

I already have self-supporting, very high set breasts on a ***very*** short torso. But apparently Rocha believe the only body type for this boob shape is ultra petite perfectly child-sized bodies. On my tiny torso with lanky frame, this is totally a torture device.

Straps must be completely replaced just to see if this even fits /FML

At least there is a hidden wing for cup stabilization inside the smooth, dual layered powermesh & knit band. And this plush triple hook closure is SO NICE! The fashion outer layer is super posh and am in love with the super rounded cutout rise from outer cup to straps. When cups are held facing down, there is a whole lot of immediate depth going on front & center, I don't see that a lot with major brands in fuller cuts.

With Rocha the straps were so bad I deleted them and tore the thing off. It doesn't help anyone to see 20 responses to that issue- 'loosen the straps' when Panache made the straps under a foot long and most of it doesn't stretch. It was truly awful the way it strangled my sideboob & shoulder (with temporary straps it currently fits closer to the bravissimo mai- supplies order cam in and will finally get the final ones added this week!). However, I've added tons of pics over this fit journey to other reviews when neither time nor uploading was an issue. More recently have been both too busy to have time to self to even take a few minutes for basic shots, let alone a functional device for this (going to spare the aggravating details on that!). Setting up a clear area with good lighting isn't too hard but it's a step farther than I have this season. Besides this I'm pretty motivated to discuss some of these less known models and brands features, because we really need more info on them and for some reason it seldom seems to happen?

    Hasn't set fit

This review is purely a pattern comparison. My gorgeous marsala-toned Serene has the exact came cut and size as ashy rose Rocha which is a certified superdeep/short root/petite-friendly hybrid (pattern is a dupe for Cleo Kayla but has a much shorter gore). While both are great for immediate fullness and projection, Serene is best categorized as more 'projected with even to somewhat bottom shallow fit' than Rocha's 'ultra projection-meets-bottom-fullness-with-allowance-for-high-fluctuation'. all this means is you'd want Serene for center-control for short, full, projected breasts, vs Rocha for 'god help it hurts, everything is too small and too tall'.

Serene differs from the plungey hybrid Rocha, in that its' very ... narrow set gore is taller, inner and center cup is half size less full, and is slightly less projected because it's a half size shorter in the bottom cup, and a halfsize shallower. This might just make it average or true-to-size Panache. Serene's supersoft materials and side support are also identical to Rocha's, but due to the nature of their elasticated lace upper cups one will get more of a closed, controlled or compressed feeling in Serene vs Rochas forgiving hug. Serene is NOT closed off. The upper bands are cut the same shape, height and width, but on Serene it fits closer to the body than on Rocha.
I've had Rocha for a year now and while I treasure it's ultrasoft build, low coverage and high support, it's snaggy lace made it always feet more like a 'sunday best' pick in my bra-drobe, whereas I can tell immediately that Serene's superfine sleek outer layers can take some beating about.

Both bras bands are cut very similarly with the same hypersoft microknit over fine powernet, and double-bagged technique. Serene's band however is cut slightly shorter than on Rocha, which leads me to believe that Rocha was designed for overly-full or more softbodied petites needing more support for heavy busts and back squish control, as an option should Serene not fit them well in the dressing room.

Serene's straps are cut 2" longer than Rocha's in this size- and it includes a J-Hook to convert the fit to racerback which gives the impression that Panache's design team is considering real humans in their sample process and allowing for some variations in frame differences.

    Didn't fit

After seeing multiple reviews for these Panache Tango Bras, I decided to try this plunge out for myself. meant to review this Bra months ago, but finally found the time now. It did not fit well before, and now with more weight loss it is certainly too big in the cups for this style Bra. I was around UK 28GG+ when I had started looking for a proper fitting Bra. I had already lost a little weight, but have continued to lose the lbs and I currently am wearing around a 28FF. My breasts are asymmetrical so one cup fits looser than the other side.

The Tango ... II Bra is A Cute Black Plunge Bra. It is Black and made out of a permeable mesh material with a subtle leaf looking pattern embroidered into it. I can not entirely my pale skin through the cups when I am wearing it, but I can see the light coming through the material when it is off my body. The cups construction combines 3 different panels, two on the lower part of the cups and one about 2inches tall on the upper part of the cup, giving the cup more height and upper coverage. The wires seem long and wide. The gore is 1.5 inches tall and adorned with a little black satin bow. The wires do not run too high on my sternum. The straps are my preferred thickness, 3/4 of an inch. The straps do not adjust fully along the whole strap, which was not an issue for me when I tried it on but does not allow for the straps to be tightened much. The band seemed very firm when I first got this, I think it measured around 23 inches flat when I had not tried it on yet. the band lays flat and measures about 24inches and I can stretch it to 27 easily enough. It feels firmer than some of my other 28 bras. It does not ride up in the back. The Bra clasps in back with 3 sets of 2 hooks. Overall it looks and feels like a nice bra.

I like the look of the Tango II Plunge Bra but it's not a good fit or shape match for me. I like the firm band, and if my breasts were larger and fuller on top, like they were when I was at my heaviest, I would have appreciated the top panel to contain some of that tissue. The cups are too large and also too wide for me. They are also a little too tall and and come up at an odd shape for my chest. The Bra fit me better size wise 6 months ago, but feels more comfortable on my body now.

With my weight loss I think I can adjust my size pretty easily, just the style I need may have changed by this point based on my current shape, roots, and projection. I do like Panache and I am really glad I got to try this bra. I plan to rehome this to someone who can get better use of it.

This makes me sad, as this was my absolute favourite bra in the past when I first got fitted into a 28E. In black at least, this feels very tight in the band. The bottom wire isn't tracking the IMF and there is a ton of extra space on the sides (which I think was also the case the first time, and I am okay with in general). There is a bit of quadding after a few minutes of wear, even with a GG, so I don't think it's from being too small. I'm going to try a G to see if the narrower wire makes this go away.

This bra tends to project breast a little less forward and more to the side. Not a problem, but something to note. It is comfortable and very close to something I would want to keep, except that the cups are just a tiny bit too small.

I am a 5'1" and a short waisted person. I'm cursed with these large very dense breasts.
I also have touching breasts. Bras that give me the lift I need invariably have gores like this bra , tall and
too wide . This bra did give me the lift but I found it somewhat uncomfortable because
of the tall, wide gore which pressed on my breast tissue. I still debated about keeping it because I really haven't found anything better. It was pretty good for the immediate projection , although there still was some minimal wrinklingat the bottom of the cup. The cup wrinkled under the arms which is because it was a little wide.

This is the first unlined bra I've had that doesn't have lace-gape near the straps!

The cups feel a little wide and shallow, and smoosh the apices of my breasts a bit, but the cups also give me a nice, round shape. This is definitely *not* a cleavage bra for me; it does give a bit of a minimizing effect. But it also lifts and supports my breasts nicely.

The wires follow my IMF right at the gore, but most of the wire is set wider, and doesn't quite accommodate my immediate projection.

All told, however, it's the best fit I've had so far and I am in love with stretch lace!

    Didn't fit

The Melody Balconette is a good bra that I had fitted for me. I find that the band can feel a bit too firm (regardless of hook setting). That said, it's the only size 28 bra I own - even though this is my "correct" size, I usually prefer the feel of a stretchy, snug size 30 band.

So a big part of my "too firm" feeling towards this bra is probably personal taste. I think it is true to size.

The lace at the top of the cup doesn't stretch at all. I have very soft and fleshy breasts at the center of my chest (result of sudden ... weight loss + natural shape I think!) and to fit my breast tissue evenly into the cup my nipple sits a bit lower than the seam join. I think this is the design of the cup - visually the lace section is a bit shorter than the lower section. But it bugs me.

If I place my nipple at the seam junction where it meets the lace I don't fill out the bottom center of the bra cup and I push against the top of the cup.

This bra is very comfortable and technically it was given the tick of approval when many other styles weren't good for me. And I like it, but I don't love it. Maybe it's the look of it on... I don't think it does anything for me.

    *Update*
Having taken photos of me wearing this bra and a bunch of newer bras that I was fitted for I find that the Melody's underwires are too far apart for me and the underwires travel to far to the back. That said, this is very comfortable to wear.

I really like this bra. I purchased in a 28GG, but I will be exchanging it for a 28H because I think it runs a little small in the cup for me.
The band fits me well and there are three rows/three columns of hooks in the back. The cups ran small, but despite that I still like this bra and am willing to exchange for the next size up. The lace is softer than most lace bras, I hate things that itch, and that is a plus in my book. The cups have a lace on the top that has more stretch than the bottom lace. The cups have a side sling that helps put your boobs out front. The straps are made of nice elastic and are situated quite nicely on this bra, not too far apart. I think once I have the right cup size I’ll have a winner on my hands.

I wish I had gotten my size before this model became so hard to find. The stretch lace on the top is not only gorgeous, it actually feels high quality. The cut is the same as Envy with the side panels, but unlike Envy with the floral lace top and hounds-tooth bottom, all the cup panels on the Amelie has matching lace. No padded straps, just plain elastic, but that isn't a big deal to me. The specks of color along the band made this otherwise simple black lace bra look unique and fun without being gaudy. If you liked the Envy, this is pretty much the same bra with different straps, lace and a smooth band without the lace overlay.

Fits quite big in the band which is unusual for my experience with Panache, I generally find them to be true to size or on the firmer side. It's fine on the middle hooks for me, though. The wires are quite wide and I find that I have about 2 finger widths of space between my breast root and the wire, but it isn't uncomfortable and the inner side sling helps keep my breast tissue forwards. Really soft fabrics, and I love the slightly cushioned half straps in GG+ cups. It's one of my 'I'm not wearing a bra'-bras. I do find I spill out of the centre front ever so slightly towards the end of the day, likely due to the width of the cup, but not a deal breaker and if I'm wearing the right kind of top it isn't at all noticeable until I go to take it off at the end of the day.

This is a lovely bra - really close to a good fit for me. The band is just a little too stretchy/loose on me. I probably need a smaller band (wish they offered that). Additionally, it does hurt just a little at the sternum for me, though that is more an issue with my body structure and less an issue with the bra.

I have 4 of these in different sizes, and this is my only "nude" bra (ivory but close enough). 2mo after buying this used, I lost a little weight and my tight underbust is now 24.5.. this bra was set aside while I cast around for smaller band sizes - turns out this is the tightest band you can get retail and a lot of 26s reach for Panache's 28s and just wear it on the third hook from day 1. Being used this one was too loose even on the tightest hook, and I learned how to shorten the band on this bra and it went from too big on the tightest hook to perfect on the loosest hook. It probably only took me an hour and will likely save me rather a lot of money. tbh the novelty of fancier bras has worn off and I just want the darned things to fit so I can straighten my back. I know they get even fancier but I'm over it, just start selling 24 and 26 bands please.

This bra doesn't give me quad-boob, which I'm granting partially to the seam-free, stretchy lace at the top of the cup. I like the extra side support on the inside of the cup.

Like most all Panache bras, the center gore pokes into my sternum, which is unfortunate, and after half an hour wearing this around the house the lace and/or elastic under my arms had chafed raw.

The lace at the top of the bra is comfy, though.

Unfortunately Panache bras just have super hard wires that don't bend easily. I tried stuffing a cotton ball under mine, and I bent it using some pliers... Maybe this might help while you look for a better brand.

    • I can't wear Panache or Cleo wires--too much pain for my ribs and sternum. You could swap the wires with Flex Wires from Bravo Bella....
