I want to love this bra so bad, because it's absolutely gorgeous and the shape it provide with clothes (sweater and button-up shirts--this is def not a t-shirt bra) is pretty good. However, the cup shape is all wrong for me. The wires are too wide, so the fit of the cup is all wrong. Otherwise, I would say this fits like a standard Panache 32H.

I have the Clara in the wrong size, but I really think it could be a great fit for a lot of women. Its true to size, deeper than Andorra, less deep than Jasmine, and none of the pointyness of either. The wires are narrower like the Jasmine, and like Andorra it has a side support sling. I get wrinkles in the bottom of the cup, which seems to be a common complaint, but I really dont think its a projection issue. I think the wrinkles come from the very firm side sling that lifts the breast so much that it actually prevents tissue from reaching the bottom of the cup, causing the fabric to not lay taut at the wire base.

I'm definitely reordering this in the right size when the gold/black version comes out!

  3. Beautiful bra. Shallow at the very bottom - I went up to a 30f from a 30e, hoping that it might give a bit more projection, but it doesn't. The actual cup is now more comfortable though! I was quadboobing in the 30e, but it didn't really show due to the lace at the top of the cup being stretchy.

I still have a wedge of wrinkle at the bottom of the cup where my breasts are pushing the bra down. It's honestly not enough to make me send this back. It doesn't show under my shirts, and now that I'm a cup size up & my boobs can breathe a bit, I don't care.

This is supposed supposed to be pretty close to the same cut as the Andorra. I think I've been reading over at r/abrathatfits that the Andorra is more shallow than Clara.

TLDR: Beautiful. Forgiving lace top. Bottom of cup is shallow, not projected.

This bra is beautiful and it feels so good on. I have a bit of wrinkling at the bottom inner side near the gore. Maybe because my boobs are so wide set. Im gonna try plunge styles next. Hopefully have more luck. I wanted to like this bra so much but unfortunately I’m gonna have to return it. It makes my cone shaped boobs very pointy. I need a less projected shape I guess. Idk. Any insight?

Yes, you need a slightly less projected cup (though I'm afraid I don't have recommendations). The band here also looks quite tight, which could be affecting fit!

    • 1

The band wasn’t tight at all.. I could hook that bra on the middle hook without any stretch at all. It’s just the cups we’re too pointed so I returned it. I wanted to like that bra so band. It was so beautiful

I decided to try 30F when I realized my Panache Clara was too small in 30E. (There was some in-cup quadding and minor wrinkling under the cup from needing more immediate projection.)

The 30F does in fact fit in cup volume much better. However, I still have a challenge with the immediate projection not being enough (still wrinkling across the bottom of the cups).

This Clara 30G was not a perfect fit at all but I kept it. It's comfortable, old colors are cheap, and the interior side support panel seemed ideal to mod into a nursing bra.

I really like how the Clara style feels & looks on, so I've long wanted a "close enough" size. I don't think it's scratchy at all, and the lace is very cute. The band is wide and feels good. Even if I have to get a 30 and the band isn't snug, even if the shape ends up a little splayed ... Clara feels comfortable. I really appreciate the side support fabric panel ... inside a lot.

As pictured, the wire is too wide everywhere -- nowhere near my IMF, laughably far to be honest. Similar to my photos on the 30FF but the 30G gives a little more room. But I'm not a 30, so I guess that's one reason the bra could be wide. (I'm a 28 but Clara doesn't come in 28). It still feels OK to wear, OK enough to keep at a heavy sale price.

The bra does a good job of holding everything in place which is probably related to low stretch in the cup and the fact that it's a full cup. My main concern is that the straps are too wide for my frame and dig into my armpit area over the course of the day. The overall shape is not too bad but it's not as rounded as I would like. I'd give it 4 stars out of 5 because it's pretty close. I do know that a 30FF in this bra fits me better but I had already bought the 30G when I found that out.

Firm fabric, band, wires, and gore. This bra offers side and under support. The stretch lace atop the cups is forgiving and accommodating for asymmetrical breasts. It is a full cup but sits low enough for scoop, lower, or unusual necklines in garments. The black fabric seems more snug than the sage I have in the same style. This is a cup size smaller than I need, but works for my asymmetry (I
can wear it in both GG and H)- if you are between sizes or asymmetrical you may be able to size up or down comfortably. I have, I believe, tall and wide roots. Center full (horizontal) even full (vertical) 1 finger width (approx 1 cm) space between breasts (when supported, about 1" when unsupported), very soft tissue, immediate projection (at the wire) 5'4" with narrow shoulders- hopefully some of that can help someone. If this style suits you, you may also like panache andorra.

Absolutely love the color and the lace is extremely comfortable. The seams are well placed and do not itch or rub.
I am a big fan of full cups, so I have to be honest, I did panic in the balconette style when I didn't have as much coverage as I was used to! But with a lack of top fullness, the stretchy lace, and the lower cut is very flattering. The satin/lace fabric combo seems to sit well under clothes.
I normally wear a UK 32F, but whatever size I tried on in-store was wrinkly/ gappy in the cup under the arms. The fitter suggested the 30FF and I like a tight band so I was on board! I'll need to give the band time to relax, but I am otherwise very happy with the bra! I think I'd try a 32F in the future, in case the fashion color was the cup-culprit. Could not say no to soft sage though!!
This is my first panache and I don't think it will be my last!

    • According to the ABTF shape guide, I think Panache Clara Full Cup is the right shape for your FoB boobs. But 32F maybe too wide for you in cups.

You can use a extender if you feel the 30 band is too tight.

This is a beautiful bra. The praline color is a warm taupe with lighter colored lace. I love Panache straps; they have 0 stretch and are lined with a felt-like fabric that keeps them up and still feels soft. Panache does have strong wires, in general, but I think 38GG - Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) is less firm than some others (Envy), and by comparison, the gore is of moderate height and width. The problem lies with the apex projection. This bra has good immediate projection, but then flattens slightly as it moves up the cup. This results in my breasts forcing the cup outward which makes the band feel too loose and distorts the wire, making it stab painfully into my side. Almost, but not quite a good fit.
