If you are projected and close set with narrow and tall roots, you should probably avoid this bikini top. It would be far more suited to an omega shape than my teardrop, and also a much better fit for someone with firmer tissue (I don't have that at all). The band is also really tight, almost as tight as the 28s I've tried in Panache's Cleo line. Because of the tight band, I can't make perfect comments on fit. The wires are wider than I need, but the band pulled them even farther out, so I was definitely getting a weird fit to start with. As a 30F ...goes, the cup was somewhat shallow on bottom and closed on top. I would almost dare to call this a wider, shallower bra except that the middle part of the cup had projection to it. Just not the center near the gore; that was pretty shallow, but again my assessment there is affected by the tightness of the band. The straps also sat somewhat wide for my tiny shoulders, but that's a normal problem for me.
Note: this is a typical swim snap setup, no hooks and eyes for adjustment.
I have to say, the colorway is still gorgeous, which is why I had to try this even though I was pretty sure it wouldn't work out. Oh well. Goodbye, Panache, we are just not meant for each other. Read more 127 more words
Other Panache swim in this size fit, but this is too small in cup and band because it is lined. It fits nicely on the small boob, so a 40HH might be a good fit. I would have liked this much more in a plunge style of course, which Panache refuses to make in my size. The straps are way too widely set but I can't tell if it's because the band is too small or just stupid wide set straps. The finishing on this is much nicer than any swimwear I own except 38HH - Panache Swimwear » Halle Balconnet Bikini Top (SW0752).
pros: top is a pretty color and I like the bow in the center. Seems durable.
cons: the gore comes of kind of high and becomes very uncomfortable after minimal wear time. Keeps breasts kind of far apart for my liking. The wires are pretty wide and got uncomfortable after minimal wear time. The fabric becomes less supportive when it's wet.
Oddly, the cups are actually a little too big. This has never happened to me before! The fabric is rather stretchy, and that is probably why. The wires are a tad wide, and the band runs very tight (I'm normally a 30). The shape works for me because my boobs are full all around and they don't really need much on the side of shaping, but I could see how this would not work for anyone who really needs the reshaping quality of the bra or a good "hoist." The cups are a little too separated, but overall I really like this as a bathing suit. It's cute and my back looks good. I would recommend going up a band size, though.
I am really happy with this. It just arrived so I haven't had a chance to try it out at the poo/beach yet though.... This is one of the best fits I have come across for my hard to fit shape. There is a bit of quad boob on the bigger side but not very much. I would love panache to bring out a bra just like this bikini! I have read some reviews from others that they have found this quite minimising, but I haven't really found that. To me it seems a fairly true to size shape.
Ick. I just tried this on very briefly in a shop and I was very unimpressed. It basically seemed to give me no lift or shape at all- my breasts were very wide and low looking, and the top mostly seemed to just be functioning as a boob cover, not really what I was hoping for. The fit of the cups seemed reasonable, I wouldn't say it ran obviously big or small. The fabric in them was really really stretchy, though, which may account for the total lack of lift I got. This was my first foray into bra sized swimwear though, so for all I know that's ...normal. The attachment in back wasn't hooks and eyes, but the kind you slide into place at an angle and snap flat into place. After several flaily attempts to fasten it in back as I've grown used to, I had to give up and do it up in front and twist, something I haven't had to do in a long time. Ow. The band was definitely firm, though not so much I would have had to size up, though I also probably could have without problems. could have stood to be thicker. Speaking of thicker, though, OW to the tiny useless skinny little straps.Do yeah, overall, this was a fail for me. Read more 110 more words
