This bra is amazing. Plenty of immediate and centre projection in the cup, gore tacks but doesn't dig, the cups are entirely* stretch lace so fit a variety of shapes happily, they also have a peach coloured mesh backing so they're not too sheer (although might look a bit strange if light peach isn't a nude for you). Wires generally stay in my IMF, which isn't a small feat for me! The material itself feels lovely on the cups and the band, the size tag is a tiny bit annoying as it's quite thick. The Petrol colour is also lovely, a subtle navy that's a bit warmer than ... the photos.
(ETA: Not entirely, but more forgiving than most Panache bras I've tried. Similar to Cleo Blake)

The centre gore is very wide especially at the bottom - this is a perfect shape for me and my splayed breasts, but if yours are close together this will likely be problematic. The shape under clothes is quite natural, a little bit minimised but not too much, and also forward pointy but not ridiculously pushed together. The straps are quite thin, I find them very comfortable but may not be ideal for heavier busts.

The wings on this bra are high - I think it's the boundary point of where they start being problematic for me. The cut of the cups/straps also makes my Tail of Spence quite prominent, this doesn't bother me personally though. The wires are also on the wider side of my comfort zone, I'd say the regular Panache width (narrow-to-average).

Band definitely is TTS, a tiny bit tight on first wear but not to the point of discomfort. I'd be inclined to say the cups run a bit small - I get a smidge of quadding as I'm more FOT, and could probably do with a cup size up but it's not bad enough to bother me. The elastic on the top of the cup isn't tight enough to cause any problems here, fortunately.

Overall, definitely recommend for even fullness, even if centre fullness is an issue.

Interesting. Most of the reviews I've seen of their Black line have been WAY too shallow. Comes in a huge size range, too

    • 2

Interesting! I've just added in the measurements to help. I need projection at the wire and gore but not at the apex, so perhaps the versatility of the all-stretch-lace cup helps balance it out?

    • 1

Sorry, ETA: after some poking the bra isn't 100% stretch lace, but it's a very forgiving cup nonetheless. I'm inclined to try more of the Black line now to see if this theory sticks, although I may stick to the unpadded styles.

Ooooh, I was just looking at the Panache Esme yesterday because I'd read it was based on the Jasmine/Andorra model but with better materials overall! Looks like I'll be trying one soon. I'm interested on your comments about the gore and center fullness - This is my only issue with my Panache bras (I have an Envy and Clara), they all have this oddly flat spot near the lower gore area of the cup, and I'm assuming it's because I have more fullness there and the bra isn't projected enough to handle it? Maybe the allover semi-stretchiness of Esme will be good!

Yep, I'd say that description is pretty spot on! I'll try and get some pics up over the weekend - I wore it to work today, the only qualm is the thin straps and the slightly high wires

  2. Quinn Balconnet Bra (9241)

My only wish is that this bra was cheaper (I paid $82.00 USD for it) and that it had come out sooner! It's really comfortable - the material is soft, silky, and very forgiving, from the band that doesn't cut into my squish to the stretch lace top of the cups that don't cut into my tissue. Love this bra - I wouldn't have paid $82.00 for it if I didn't. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It's CUTE, too! The cut-out is super sexy.

    • wow, that has a big size range. I wish there were more reviews. and some pics!

It literally JUST was released a few weeks ago - I bought it on the day it arrived in Nordstrom! I just so happened to be bra shopping and that is what the sales lady brought me. :) I don't have time to take pics right now, but I will absolutely post some later!

    • Can you please describe what shape this bra is made for?

    • is the lace on this one as stretchy as the Envy, do you know?

Panache Black really is a continuation of Masquerade when it comes to quality even if the name is a bit ridiculous https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Fastenings, details, material choices are all on par with what I'm used to from Masquerade.

Runs a full size large in cup. Fits pretty much identially in cup to Masquerade Capella and thus is one of the two molded bras that are projected enough for me.

    Gives some tasteful cleavage.

Animal print is knit into the fabric.

This is the closest I've ever come to finding a moulded bra that actually fits. Much better than the Deco, which has been my go-to for a long time, and I was astonished by how comfortable this was. The projection is almost immediate enough, and it keeps the breasts front and center (where mine naturally want to be). It's also closed enough on top to prevent gaping even when I relax my shoulders, but not so closed it cuts in on my tall root tissue. I think I'm right on the line of needing a 32GG instead of 32G - no quadboob or anything but some of the ... tissue wants to sneak towards the armpits and if I really scrape the swoop and scoop in the gore won't tack - I'd try going up a size if they made the GG size :/. There's all sorts of small details that make this 1) really pretty in a simple way, with lace scalloping, a dangling rinestone, ornamented straps, and 2) comfortable, like the carefully tacked down and overlapped strap anchor points which keep it from cutting in at the armpits.

I ordered a bunch of bras to try, and this was the best-fitting of the bunch. The quality seems nice, it gives a nice shape, and in general fits me pretty well. As is the case with most bras, the gore is a bit high and wide for me personally, as I am close set. Even with a little digging, the gore tacked and was tolerable. The wire is just a little wide for me, but not too bad. My measured band size is a 30, but I don't like the feeling of a too-snug band. This rides up a bit in the back on the loosest hook, but I'm worried that sizing down in the band would be uncomfortable. I might just try the tighter hooks. All in all, this is a lovely bra, seems well-made, and adds some pizazz to an ordinary moulded cup bra with a lace band, center gore details, and lace on the straps. (I didn't include the strap lace in the measurement.)

I love this bra - the first time I've had one fit without having to try too hard. I've never had a gore sit as comfortably against my sternum.
The straps are quite thin compared to other bras in similar sizes, so I did need to adjust them a bit tighter than I normally would to feel supported.
