    Didn't fit

I was delightfully surprised to discover that this molded bra actually has enough immediate projection for me! I gave up on molded bras after trying so so many that were too shallow at the bottom, gave charming orange in a glass effect and ballooned at the top with unfilled fabric, or squished me flat into boob-pancakes. I like a lifted, rounded shape, and my girls come straight out of my ribcage like they are on a platter. The Odette delivers the shape, no squish, and no orange in a glass; there is a little unfilled fabric at the top by the straps but not too much. The band ... is comfortably firm and doesn't seem like it will stretch out , the fabric is silky, and the gold animal pattern is woven in (in pix it looks printed on - its not). Construction and fabrics are overall high quality. The straps are very thin & stretchy though, so its a good thing the band and cups are supportive. There is also a little gapping right at the gore, but I do not have center fullness although I am very close-set. At least Odette doesn't cut in there like other molded bras and plunges sometimes do. I can live with the gore gap and it doesn't show under clothes. The inner edge of the cups turns out a little, and that is visible under knits, but I think that is endemic to molded bras; might try to tighten the straps and see if it goes away. All in all: score for a molded bra with enough projection to actually wear!!
Update: sized out of Odette, now I quad in the middle. Sad :/

    Fits

Panache Black really is a continuation of Masquerade when it comes to quality even if the name is a bit ridiculous https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Fastenings, details, material choices are all on par with what I'm used to from Masquerade.

Runs a full size large in cup. Fits pretty much identially in cup to Masquerade Capella and thus is one of the two molded bras that are projected enough for me.

    Gives some tasteful cleavage.

Animal print is knit into the fabric.

    Didn't fit

Compared to my 32G Cleo Lilies, this bra has a band that is very stretchy. I would consider it "slightly looser than true to size". The cups run large in my opinion, in other bras I wear 32G and in Odette I comfortably wear 30G.

I only have 1 Odette in 32FF, as I find it just loose enough compared to my 30G Odettes(3) that it's not near as comfortable as the 30Gs are. It is good for days where I'm feeling a little more bloated. I can feel this size shifting around on my body a little bit more than other bras I've tried, so I don't wear ... it too often. The band feels ever so slightly too large for me in general, and the cups would cause quadboob if I wore 30FF. 30G is my perfect size in this bra, with the noted exception for days when I'm feeling a little bloated or want that extra room for some reason.

The bra is still comfortable, the material is nice and soft to the touch. If I wear this bra on a middle hook I get more oomphy cleavage than with my 30Gs but I'd rather just have the comfort of the 30G. I will seek cleavage and cakes on a plate from Polish bramakers. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I find some of the seams in this particular bra, my 32FF, to be a little agitating. This might be because the band is a little looser than I prefer or the seams are just a one off. The seam that bothers me most in this 32FF is on the right wing of the bra and is comparatively large next to my 3 other Odettes. So I believe it is a one off.

The tag with the Panache Black logo at the hooks in the back of all my Odettes is very pokey and itchy.

    Didn't fit

I find the band fits a little on the loose side for a 30, but it is not uncomfortable. I wear 32G in Cleo bras as they are tight. This 30 band is just right, not too snug not too loose. I experience some minor wrinkling near the underwire but it's largely ignore-able and not a deal breaker for me. I could use more immediate projection and narrower wires, but it is very comfortable all considering. I am narrow, pendulous, and evenly shaped. My boobs don't escape this bra despite my soft tissue. It gives me rather nice cleavage if I'm wearing a low cut top, and the ... gore is low enough not to show.

I find that when looking down with just the bra on, it makes my breasts have a bizarre east/west look due to the shape of the foam. The seams may also influence that shape. When under a shirt though my breasts look lifted and rounded which is good. This will be a staple "black bra" for me until it wears out or I discover a shape that better suits my needs.

As an aside - the tag in the back with the Panache Black logo on it is extremely irritating. It's very pokey and itchy.

  5. I'm so impressed by this bra. I thought there could never be a molded bra that fit me. Well, this bra proves that you can make a molded bra with depth! It gives me a wonderfully round, globe-like shape. The ombre leopard is very pretty and the bra looks quite luxe.

The straps are set quite far so it does hurt a bit there. Also this band stretches to a bit more than 32 so probably sister size down.

I'd say this bra runs about true to size, maybe a bit stretchy in the band (not enough to size down, for me).

I'm fairly even, narrow, projected, and short rooted. For reference, Cleo Lily fits me best.

The cup size is just fine for me, but the shape, not so much. The wires are a little too wide for me, and the bottom of the cups buckle near the outer part. So I could do with narrower wires, and more immediate projection for this bra.

    • I'm under the impression that the entire Black line runs shallow at the bottom of the cup

dbmamaz I actually had better luck with the Ardour, but the half adjustable straps were a deal breaker. :(

    32F

    Fits

Shortly after I started my journey for ABTF, I found the Panache Black Odette in 32E, which fit amazingly at the time. But now I kinda outgrew it, and can only wear it on my 'smaller' days, because the band and straps have stretched out enough to compensate for the cups being a little small.

Anyway, I just recently found this 32F on eBay, even though the Odette has long been discontinued. I knew I had to scoff it up!
    * The cups fit perfectly, with the right amount of height, width and depth for my short torso, average build, close-set & projected shape. It gives great lift, ... support and a sexy round shape!
    * The band feels snug again (unlike the stretched out 32E). The height of the band could be a tad taller under the arms, but the larger cup contains side tissue well. The fabric of the band is double layer microfiber (not mesh); flocked 1/3" wide elastic along the top edge and 5/8" wide along the bottom.
    * The gore is low, narrow at the top, wide at the bottom.
    * The wires fit and stay perfectly in my IMF. Barely notice them!
    * The straps adjust barely long enough (and very stiff I might add). But that's OK because I'll have plenty of room to tighten as needed.
    * Hardware is gold-toned, with narrowly spaced 2x3's hooks & eyes.
    * On the 32E, the front underband liked to curl inward, but this one is actually a bit wider and so far hasn't started to curl either direction.

    * The only downside to mention is that the Animal Print overlaying the cups, although has two parallel dart seams (beginning at the wire and tapering to 2.5" below the neckline edge), the fabric is slightly puckered between those darts. I remember that was a problem on the 32E also, which I remedied by hand-stitching the seams just a bit tighter. I guess I'll be doing that to this one too.

Wow! What a difference this one makes.
The molded cups are projected enough, and not too wide. They could be ever a smidgen narrower for me, but they are pretty darn good. (There is always that trade-off between shallow vs. projected.) They give a natural lift & a nice rounded shape without looking artificial...perfect for close-set, forward facing breasts. The padding is firm but pliable and doesn't add extra volume. The underwire is firm, but not so rigid to be uncomfortable. When I first 'Swoop&Scoop' I get just a bit of quadding on my larger side, but then when I stand upright and things settle in, it ... fits about as good as I could ever get!
The gore is narrow enough to not sit on breast tissue, but tall enough to be supportive.
The straps are fully adjustable, fairly stretchy but still supportive. The band runs true to size, although I wish the wings were taller under the arms, because I do get some dreaded backfat over my lats.
Only 2 minor negatives: the 'Panache' tag in the back is made with nylon and its' cut edges were made by melting them, which leaves a scratchy edge on all 3 exposed sides: Easily fixed by snipping it out! The other issue is the partial band under the cup is not sewn with precision. One band is 1/4" wide, the other is 3/8" wide; enough to feel the difference, but I hope it becomes less noticeable with washing.

Ordered the brazilian panty to match: has just enough back coverage that it's really comfortable, and it doesn't leave a panty line! Supports through the waist so it doesn't slide down. Really cute set!

Update: after many months the band is now beginning to stretch. I still wish it had higher wings, but overall I'm very happy with this one. Wish it wasn't discontinued and came in other colors.
2nd update: technically this doesn't fit, but I can get away with wearing it on my non-bloated/lose a couple pounds kinda day. I still love the shape it gives, but the short band is still a problem around the lats.

    Didn't fit

When I first put this bra on, I was literally so excited that I started jumping up and down. Could this finally be the first moulded bra that actually fits better than my old moulded bras? After initial excitement wore down, I begun to look at the little things.

Yeah, my boobs look hella good, but the cups themselves look a tad smaller than what they need to be. With my FoB breasts, I definitely need to order a cup size up with this if I want to wear it without the slight spill.

The other slight problem that I had with this bra is that it looked like ... the material on the front was wrinkling (air bubbles?) for whatever reason. It didn't affect the appearance under a tight shirt.

Other than those two things, this bra is amazing. The band feels so silky and soft and all of the hooks and metally bits are gold. Even though it doesn't fit as well as my other bras, I'll still keep it because it fits damn better than my moulded bras and sometimes we all need a little oompft in our lives.

By far the best fit I've come across in a molded bra! Excellent immediate and center projection, medium-narrow wire width, and wonderfully silky, low wings. Very high comfort feel and lovely naturally-rounded side profile. Also love the thinner straps for a more discrete look under a tank top. I'm not usually a fan of animal prints on bras, but Odette is surprisingly elegant and understated in person... very much along the lines of the old Masquerade brand in quality. The only caveat is that the band (like the straps) is on the stretchy side, so a 28G would probably be optimal for me, if Panache produced that size in this bra! Still, I think Odette will be an excellent t-shirt staple for me.
