    Hasn't set fit

I bought this NWT Natori Feathers bra from eBay seller dressbetterforless. They are selling tons of NWT Natori items, so purchase carefully!

It arrived with a fake tag - I've documented pictures of it here! It wasnt enough that the tag has two holes in it and a red plastic tag - clearly reattached to the bra, they also put the Natori logo in the wrong font. The tag describes a racerback bra instead of the Feathers and has typos.

The bra itself seems to be in new condition. I can't be sure if it is fake or not. The lace begins and ends in different places than on my ... 32DD red Feathers, but looking at other user photos this seems to vary a lot. The hardware on this bra is gold while my 32DD has silver hardware. I'm not sure if this is normal variation or something that Natori changed one season. They seem alike otherwise.

Soo.. super sketchy. The store has a few negative reviews, but over 2000 positive ones so I didn't check before buying. One user reports getting a dingy used bra with the fake tag attached.. yikes! I never really thought about fake or sketchy bra sellers - at least in this price range - it seems too niche.

We will see how this refund goes, wanted to give you all a warning to watch out for this seller

My main question is why?? I'm would likely buy this bra NWOT as many eBay sellers list them and not had any problems, but there's no way I'm letting this scummy seller keep my money

Wowwww. I too never imagined the possibility of bra fakes! Especially inexpensive bras being faked. Keep us updated, annabellynn and good luck with the refund!

    • Takes a bit, but I got a refund!

The seller encourages you to email them outside of ebay for returns saying they don't want their ratings hurt. Ha, no thanks! They go by another name - starlightstuffs and try to redirect you to that website.

I hate that eBay seems to let these things slide. The seller is just gonna pass the Natori on to the next poor buyer and keep selling many more like it .. I know the rules are in place to protect sellers from false claims and buyers wanting to get free stuff, but come on! Maybe with enough cases they will be banned.

    • are there any legit sellers of authentic natori bras on ebay?

    Hasn't set fit

First impressions: I love it. It provides a nice lift without being over the top. I have wide set, short roots, shallow, tuberous, full on bottom breasts. It's difficult to find a bra that fits well but it also flattering. It's also super comfortable and I don't find that the lace is itchy or uncomfortable.

    Didn't fit

I have shallow and wide boobs, and while this is an ~ok fit, I have tried on enough different styles to know this one is not worth keeping.

Pros: The band is quite firm for a 30. Most of the time, I have to wear 30s on the tightest hook when new - this one would fit someone who measures for a 28. Also, it is very pretty as a potential t-shirt bra, as it is smooth under clothes (though the yellow is more canary/mustard than I expected from the Nordstrom photo, which made it look more chartreuse).

The main reason I will not be keeping it is because the countoured cups slightly cut into my breast tissue, giving minor quad-boob. This is evident when the mesh/lace is pulled down. I am not terribly surprised, given that it's a moulded one-piece cup, and with my very shallow shape, I do best with cups that have 2 vertical seams.

    Fits

Hallelujah, I've found my holy grail everyday wear bra!!! Thank you sooo much reddit and bratabase - I'm forever indebted to you!!!
I have shallow, FOB, wide-set breasts and for years wore 34B bras. Then I got fitted at Victoria's Secret and life improved when I started wearing 32C, but even so, I still had that horrible gaping problem often enough that I started researching online and discovered that I'm actually a 30C/30D!!! I got fitted in a wonderful boutique lingerie store where the sales associate suggested that I try the Natori Feathers bra, and I couldn't believe that a plunge bra with such light padding gave me SO ... MUCH cleavage and it didn't gape at all!! The 30C fit ok, but gave me slight quadboob after it settled from scooping/swooping. The 30D fits better, but when my body is in certain positions, it does accentuate my armpit fat (I'm not sure what's the proper term for that) a bit with the first few wears. Regardless, I'll gladly accept that problem since it stretches out over time and because everything else about this bra is amazing!! I bought a few of them for super cheap on eBay and they are the bras I wear the most.
I just wish that there was a push-up strapless version of this bra so I could wear with my low-cut/strapless outfits. The only other problem is finding my right size in other brands since I have been using this as my benchmark and it tends to run a bit small. I've been dying to get a freya moulded cup bra, and I've been debating whether to try 28DD or 28D. Any advice is gladly welcome!

I don't recommend Freya bras. If VS and Natori fit your shape, go with Aerie, b.tempt'd, Betsey Johnson, and Thirdlove in 30D.

    • 1

Maybe the b.tempt'd b.wow'd bra would be good - it has lots of padding and convertible straps. Not sure about strapless bras though

    • 1

It's not. In fact it's the one I would not recommend out of all the b.tempt'd styles. It's not great for FOB types. If you're sure of your FOB shape go for the Aerie Blakely, Bridget, and Hannah. Thirdlove Plunge Perfect is also a good one.

    • 1

^Thirdlove's Plunge Perfect is supposed to be a Natori Feathers clone I think. They're discontinuing it though. The last few sizes are on sale on Thirdlove's website.

    Fits

I wasn't going to buy any bras today but I've been lusting after a Natori Feathers forever and when I saw this baby at Nordstrom in 30C (one of maybe like 4 bras available in 30 backs?) I had to try it. And then I absolutely had to splurge on it because IT FITS MEEEEEE~

The band runs tight, not quite a 28 but tight enough that I think I can get away with wearing it on the loosest hooks for now. The cups are lined and soft and seem flexible enough to fit just about anybody. The lining ends very close to the edge of my nipple but ... the mesh part covers everything just fine.

Plunge bras are usually a quadra-nightmare for me but this one is sooooo comfortable. I'm starting to think that my boobs must be close set because the wires on most of my bras are usually sitting on breast tissue at the centre gore, something I've only recently noticed (and need to update on other reviews). So I appreciate that the Feathers doesn't have any stabby wires there.

    Overall: NO REGRETS

  6. This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn!! It has fantastic support despite seamless foam construction and some stretch material. It gives a very nice, rounded shape, even to my poor deflated mom-boobs. The foam is just thick enough to prevent headlights but thin enough to look natural.

  7. My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle

This review is for the black colorway.

This is a fantastically comfortable bra. It is lightweight and breathable, so great for summer, and it absolutely disappears under even the slinkiest of blouses. If they have your size, get it. You will not regret it.

I will definitely say this is a practical bra for me, because I do not really care for the stained-glass-window deal that bra makers love to use for many DD+ bras, but everything else about it makes up for that. I often have problems with underwires poking me in the boob ... at the sternum, but the center gore is definitely low enough that it is no issue. I am pleased with the coverage I get in spite of it being a plunge bra, and I like that it isn't really padded because sometimes you just want to wear a regular dang bra already. As far as shape goes, well, it is a pretty natural shape for me, with a tiny bit of lift and some nipple discretion from the padding, so it basically looks like I am not wearing a bra at all - and THAT, my friends, is the mark of a top-notch bra. So in spite of the funny sheer triangle on top of the cups, I will still say that I am in love. Definitely worth every penny.

6 month update (more like 8 months): The mesh band has stretched out a lot, more than I would have hoped for the price considering I haven't had it even a year, but it is still good on the tightest set of hooks. I will have to look into taking it in within the next few months, though.

I also have problems with the Orange-in-a-Glass effect a lot, and this bra is no exception, meaning I am a little to FOB for it. The wrinkles at the base of the cup are pretty definite when the bra is not being worn, but they disappear, more or less, when I put it on, and you can't tell at all under clothes.

Overall, I would still say it was a worthwhile purchase. I have worn it as a daily bra and often to work (where I should probably be wearing a sports bra, on account of physical labor, but I don't have one), and it's held up nicely.

    Didn't fit

This is the best fit I have found so far. The gore lies flat, the band doesn't ride up, and it's very comfortable. The cups are a little too wide, and there is empty space near the outer edge of the underwire. However, in the next cup size down (a 30DD), the underwire sits on top of breast tissue near the outer edge. There seems to be a large difference in cup size between the 30DD and 30DDD, although all the cups seem to run small for their size. The bra is lovely though, with very light moulding under mesh.

    Didn't fit

    *Purchased for my pregnancy boobs.

I was quite happy to find that this bra is extremely comfortable. It provides a nice round smooth shape under clothing. The straps are fully adjustable, but I think it would have provided a little more stability had the elastic been a little wider. I also find the center of the cups very open and my bigger breast tends to wiggle towards the center as the day goes on. So for someone with a lot of natural center fullness this might not be for you. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and I only spent $19 for this bra at Nordstrom Rack.

This is a beautiful bra by @Natori. I feel so sexy in this bra. It's comfortable, sexy, lacy, and fits like a dream. After a while, my breasts will fall a little towards the gore but it's still a wonderful bra.
