Absolutely love this bra. I had to pull the wires out a bit because they were too narrow but it fits great. I am on the last row of hooks so I don't know if a 65 would be better.

I’ve done a review on this bra already here: 70H - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY).

I will say, the difference in band/cup size does help. The band is not so long and stretchy and the cups are larger. My main issue with this bra is the cut/style of the cups and the gore height. Compared to my 65I - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000), the gore is significantly shorter and the cups are more angled downward and not horizontal across the top. These items make a world of difference with how the bra fits me with the Kiara being a much better fit. Do I still love this bra? Yes. Will I still wear it as part of my normal rotation? Yes. I’m extra ‘fluffy’ right now because that’s where I am in my cycle, so there’s a chance this bra might fit better in like a week. Either way, very nice bra, and I’m glad I gave it a try in a better size for me!

I was wearing 70J in Kris Line but experiencing gapping in the cups and lost weight so needed a 65 band, I own a bikini from Kris Line in 70HH where the cups fit perfectly, so I was trying to figure out a size for the bra in a 65 band, thinking about sister sizes, a 65I would be the same as a 70HH conventionally, however because of Kris Line's sizing system it's closer to 65J or even 65JJ. I struggle with most type of balconette bras because I need a lot of projection but I have such soft tissue that I never fill out the top of ... the bras with projection, but this is a half cup bra, so in hindsight I sized down too far because of my experience with the emptiness up top, so now instead I ended up with a bra that's a bit too small hehe.

Anyways on to the actual bra.

It is as mentioned a half cup style, and this is the first bra I've tried that actually "feels" like a half cup, if I didn't have such soft tissue this bra would give insane cakes on a plate cleavage!

It has 2 seams running vertically on the cup, with a tiny mesh edge lined with leopard fabric at the top of the cup. The cups are double lined with lace on the outside, and mesh on the inside, except the top line. On the inside it also has a third lining of mesh on the outermost part of the cup. The mesh is kinda scratchy to the touch but wearing it I didn't notice it. The wings are lined with a softer, stretchy mesh.

The straps are fully adjustable and decent length.

The shape the cups give is very rounded which is awesome. This is the most round bra I own hehe. As I wrote in my review of the Nessa Lea (http://bra.pe/X7bo/) I also quad significantly in this bra on my right boob, but since my boobs like to change weekly I believe this will fit better on the small boob days aswell, so despite that I will keep this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • I like Kris Line, too.

that's so funny, I thought you were pretty_promise (I didn't look at your username at first) because you guys both have the same skin tone, and wear similar brands and sizes.

I'm 70HH in Kris line, I just used their size chart & ordered online (without trying on any of their bras first) and it was the correct size for me, luckily. I used their "UK size to Kris Line sizes" chart.

When I first got into proper bra sizing, I took my measurements every other day, and I was surprised at how much my measurements changed every other day, due to food or hormones: my bra size is constantly in flux, lol.

    • 1

omg that's so funny I just looked at her reviews and you're right, the photos are so similar hahah.

Ahh yes I was confused about their UK size chart because it says 70HH (KL) = 32GG UK, I am more 30HH UK Size. My cleo bras fit me in 30HH. I tried some 32GG UK bras and they were insanely small on me.

Also the UK chart convertion thing skips DD (KL), and H (KL). But KL sells DD and H bras, so I just gave up on using that. I tried to look at the chart for measurements instead, but I think I went too small by only using my standing (not accounting for any leaning, which I have a lot of).

Also I just tried this bra with an extender, just extending 1 row extra solved the intense quadding :) Win!

This is my first Kris Line bra. It surprised me with its high quality and no matter how many times I've accidentally scratched or pulled at the embroidery, none of it has come apart, the bra is still in pristine condition.

I can fill the right cup completely, but the left one gets a couple of wrinkles at the bottom. This bra is quite sheer and there are no pockets for 'cookies' or push up pads unfortunately. But I can get away with it as this is not going to be worn during work/running/exercise. I just have to make sure I position the boobs individually with my hands when putting the bra on, otherwise the left nipple sits slightly lower down than the right. Despite that, the bra does wonders and provides great uplift for both boobs, without any padding. Brilliantly, the underwires are plenty wide enough, they don't dig in anywhere. The band fits on the loosest hook and doesn't irritate the skin.

This is super cute, and I was really hoping it would fit me! Unfortunately, all Kris Line bras I've tried seem to have extremely long U-shaped wires. I think I should have sized down to an 80K or 80KK. The gore is wonderfully narrow and the cup is almost perfect, so I'm tempted to try swapping out the underwire for a slightly shorter and wider one, but I'm not sure it will work. The gore is so wonderfully narrow and low! And the cups almost fit me perfectly! Maybe if I wear it for a few days it will stretch out a bit to fit me? :/

I love leopard print so naturally I had to try this bra. It's okay.. the fabric is a little trippy, and it looks kinda cheap, like you know "cougar" lingerie? haha. reminds me of something like that.

I chose the size 80K because I own two 75K Kris Line, and I figured this bra would be closer to my Kris Line Mirabella, that fits me a little small right now, so I opted for a band up and cup up instead. But it seems Kris Line is very inconsistent with sizing, because this bra has a very weird fit. The band is too big, so I would not recommend ... sizing up in the band in the future, I'd just use an extender if I needed. Putting it on on the tightest hooks still made the band ride up.

The cup is very tall, and not projected enough for me, the other 2 KL bras I have fit much more projected than this one. The gore floats far away aswell.

The bra is unlined and has optional cage straps. It came with the straps attached so I didn't have to fiddle with attaching them myself which was nice. They cut in a little when moving around though so I would probably skip wearing them, although it looks cool under a tank top with them peeking out, if you're into that!

It has very wide straps which are soft and comfortable but for someone who has a narrow frame I think the super wide straps would mean they will cut into your armpits which could be annoying. The straps are longer than Ewa Michalak straps so they adjust better for me because I am tall and low set.

It does have narrow wires but they are very tall so not great either.

The bra is NOT comfortable. The wires in my IMF are incredibly stiff, and the material doesn't feel soft there, it left marks after minutes of wear and was just really really uncomfortable. I would not recommend this bra at all purely based on that. No bra is worth that discomfort honestly.

    • Just looking at your pics, it don't look bad you get a nice shape - although its a bit too tall. Don't you just hate inconsistent sizing and uncomfortable materials. :(

    • That looks awesome on you! Sorry it hurts :/

    • This bra is spectacular. Based on looks alone I would consider replacing the wire with a softer, shorter one from an old, ready to retire bra. It is VERY easy to do and I have been pleased with the results as it saves a lovely bra and restores comfort. If you can live with a floating gore, it might be a consieration.

    • I returned this but yes if you really love the look of a bra and is not willing to give it up, changing the gore could work. I personally found the gore to be far too floaty to feel supportive and even look nice. I do think the shape was wonderful but it was not comfortable overall. Not sure simply changing the wire would make it comfortable "enough" for me either as the fabric is pretty stiff along the wire channel aswell.

It’s such a beautiful bra but it doesn’t fit. Purchased from brastop. They didn’t have the size I wanted (34JJ) in stock, so I thought this would be a good sub (even though it’s technically the sister size of 34J, which still would have been too small.)

I definitely would love to have it in its proper size. The wires are a great width and the depth is wonderful as well. This is the first bra that didn’t wrinkle in the bottom for me! The band is also waaaay too stretchy. Definitely should’ve ordered in a 34, maybe even a 32. It was barely tight enough on the very tightest hooks in a 36.

Randomly ordered this on Lace Lingerie for a reasonable price, I had read that this one ran a little small but they only had it in 80JJ so I figured maybe that would work?

Sadly it is a little small indeed. I have grown a little though, however comparing the measurements of this with both my other Kris Line, it does seem that this runs a little smaller. A return it is. I'm not sure if I should keep trying Kris Line or not anymore, I'm not sure if the shape is right for me, like, I think it's TOO round for my boob shape?

Anyway on to the bra ... itself.

It's very beautiful, I love the color, it's a very lovely blue color with little embroidery details. The cup material is double layer mesh (which I hate) and it's a little irritating, but the band is silky soft. The mesh is not stretchy. The embroidery has some sparkle thread in it too which is pretty when it catches the light. The straps are chuuunky, love how wide they are. The embroidery stops at about shoulder height.

the bra creaks a lot with the smallest movement. It's a bit of a miss for me this one, but it was worth a try.

(The right wing comes up to 3.625, as it is slightly stretched more than the left side, which measures 3.5 and is the value recorded.)

I surprised how differently this bra fit compared to Princessa, since they are the same size and from the same brand.

The colors on this bra are PHENOMENAL! I love the patterned cups, which are really soft to the touch, and essentially unpadded (their thick enough for modesty, but not padded). My photos don’t do this bra any justice color wise — the cups are magenta and the flowery detailing is gold. The lace below the cups and on the gore is very thick ... and durable, and looks like delicate pink flowers connected by purple vines. The lace is set into mesh, so it breathes well, as does the band. The band is SO SOFT and velvety, and it quite stretchy. The elastic lining the botttom and top edges of the band is nice and thick.

Unfortunately, it is at least a cup size too big, possibly two: check out that crazy gaping! The gore had no problem touching me and laying flat this time, though it was all too happy to dig into my sternum painfully. The lace, although incredibly beautiful, drapes down past the edge of the band. It’s awesome aesthetically, but I find it very itchy when pressed against my skin. The straps are more than long enough to multiway comfortably, and do so easily with clips in both the front and back. Once again, the cup is both too wide on my body and hits me too far back. This combined with the cup being too tall causes some intense cutting in at the underarm — it actually left marks after only being tried on for a few minutes! That might be due in part to some lace that lines the top edge of the cup from the point where the strap attaches to where it meets he band, however.

Although this bra has room for center-fullness, the gore is decently wide. I think this bra would be ideal for someone who is center full, but also also slightly wide-set.

It is soooo pretty. I nearly cried when this one didnt fit me...
I am center full (round breasts like softballs) and quite wide set, but it wouldn't tack on me and i had emptiness at upper cups. .. so i don't know...it fit me similar to the padded Gaia Robyn bra that I tried...

    • Aww don't cry folks... I have been checking out (and occasionally buying) KrisLine bras on Zulily over the past few years and they definitely used this print, in various colors, on more than one cut of bra. So hopefully you can find one that works for you!

Finally found a bra that has enough projection for me. I haven't been able to find a UK bra that fits right up under my boob crease and this one is perfect! Just wish there were more colours. I have projected boobs which are bottom heavy. The great thing about this bra is that its only half padded and the top of the cup is soft lace so even though thats only part of the bra that doesn't fit me perfectly, the minimal creasing doesn't really show because of the drape.

This bra reminds me of how my Fauve Mia used to fit! I cannot stress enough on how much I love low underwires. It's one of my pet peeves to try on a beautiful bra that fits perfect but the underwires and cups are digging into your armpits. This bra is so well constructed and fits comfortably. Overall pretty bra and perfect cups.

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. ☺

I had been on the hunt for Marcella since I first discovered Kris Line bras. It was a beautiful light purple semi padded bra, and I had to have it. Since it was last year’s model, I was having trouble finding it in a size that fit and even Madga at Tomahuka could find it for me in a 65K, and she’s been great at finding all things Polish for me. The closest she could find was 70I, which I knew would be too ... small in the cup. With the style being discontinued by Kris Line, I thought I’d be out of luck. I then found it on BraStop in a 32J. I eagerly ordered and I was so excited. Much to my dismay, it arrived in 70I. I quickly realized (having never shopped at BraStop before) that they list the general conversion size and NOT the actual manufacturer’s size. Disappointed and greatly frustrated, I was mad but understand they are just trying to make buying easier on their customers who may otherwise be unaware of the sizing differences between brands and standard UK sizing. I only wish they’d have the courtesy to list the actual tag size as well as their assumed estimated conversion which is not correct for many bras. Personally, I don’t care what any store “thinks” a size converts to; I care what the manufacture says it is. I’ve done enough research to know my size and how a bra fits, and get terribly frustrated when I order based on that only to have a completely different size show up, nor do I want to have to convert my treasured brands into standard UK sizing just so I can insure I get the size I intend. I will stick with buy from Tomahuka, it’s so much easier. (Sorry for the rant, but felt it necessary. I know many of you feel my pain with this one.)

I found Marcella to not be as pretty in person as it appears in the pictures. Don’t get me wrong, it is still pretty, but not quite what I expected. The bottom of the cups are a smooth nylon in lavender with a black lace print on them, over a light foam lining. The tops of the cups are black lace. The lace is also scratchy, which is unappealing.

The band measures 27” to a max stretch of 35” with the 4 rows of eyes. It has 3 sets of hooks as well.

Cup depth was 12.5” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 14” stretched over the knee.

For Kris Line bras, I recommend Bras4you.com (same as Tomahuka on eBay mentioned in review.) Magda offers a wide selection and excellent customer service. If she doesn’t have what you’re looking for, and she can get it, she will. I have gotten most of the Kris Line bras I’ve tried from her, and have never been disappointed in her service.

Super gorgeous bra! I bought this several years back from Zulily, and while Cristin is discontinued, I find that all of their bras fit similarly with this cut.
Cristin has the tallest gore out of all the Kris Line push ups I own. This isn't a terribly huge issue. The wires are fairly soft and I was able to sew the top of the gore together (worn that way in my photos) but it still pushes my breast tissue apart a little bit due to touching roots. This shouldn't be an issue for most people, the gore isn't really that tall anyways.
The band came ... very stretchy. I've altered it down (cut and sew) to make it fit me better, but it's still very stretchy due to being only 1 layer. In the future, I may consider adding power-mesh to the underside of the band to increase support.
Under a shirt, the shape I get is phenomenal, which is why I put up with imperfections in fit. I love push up bras, and this one adds a good amount of projection to the breast without too much padding.
I would like to add that some reviews for the same cut of this bra have said that the cups run small. I actually find the cups true to size and comparable to other polish bras of the same size. Please keep in mind this is only for 60F and shallow shaped breasts, since scaling can change in other sizes and may fit differently for other breast shapes.

My biggest complaint is that the straps are very far apart on this bra, and this is true with the other 2 I own in the same cut. I will eventually move the straps in, but it is very difficult to find matching thread since the colour of this bra is very unique.

On a side note, I do own the matching briefs in a Size 38. In Ewa, that would be much too big for me, but the 38 fits well on 34-35inch hips.

This is a good bra for cleavage. It has very dense padding in the bottom of the cup. Very similar to a VS bra. However because of the padding It seems to run a cup size small, or maybe a half cup. Either way its just enough that I have the faintest quading. This dissappears under a shirt, but I have very soft tissue, so it may be an issue exclusive to my tissue type.

I LOVE the cleavage this gives me, but I don't feel terribly well supported. The band is thin and snug, but it doesn't feel like it's doing much structurally speaking. The wires are ... about the right width, and very soft. Because the wires they give so easily they don't seem to do much either. I feel abit like a bouncy castle in this. Which, could be a problem for more active women.
Again, might be an issue exclusive to softer tissue.

The straps are a bit too short for me, maybe a centimeter or so. It's close enough that I can deal with it, but if you have lower breasts or a long torso it might not be super comfy for you. The placement of the straps, however seems to be about right. Slightly too wide, but not bad. The pro is that the straps are fully removable, which makes this bra way more versatile.

The bra looks really beautiful, and the colour makes my skin look porcelain which I strongly appreciate, and it gives awesome shape and cleavage, but unfortunately I've bought it without knowing that Kris Line bras have only 2cm difference between cup sizes, so I need 65JJ in order to get a good fit for my 30HH boobs. I wish I knew that before to be able to buy better size for me. The cups are also a bit too closed on top, but as I am short-rooted, it'd be not a problem in the correct size. What I want specially admit in this bra is the amount of ... immediate projection. It was enough for even despite the fact the cups were 2 sizes too small! If you're looking for something with lots of immediate projection - try this bra, you won't be disappointed.
I also have to note that the fabric feels somewhat weak in this bra. It's awesomely pretty, but its gentle touch makes it weaker, so the band may stretch out quickly because the fabric isn't strengten in any way here.

I have had this bra for a little while but I do not wear it that often because I think the padding too much. Then again its also my only bra that is close to my skin color, so I wear it more then I realize. The folded fabric on the bottom of the cups will show through thin shirts. I hate how bra designers make a t-shirt bra then add little embellishments that SHOW under shirts. The wire sit below my IMF because there is a layer of padding along the bottom causing the wires too crushes my ribs a little. The gore too high but because it is thin its not as bad a others. The band pretty stretchy and true to size. It give nice cleavage when I first scoop and swoop but everything falls apart once I move.

You're correct about the cup being too small, I can visibly see a gap in your side view that shows the underwire isn't resting against your chest under your breast!
I think that because they use centimeters instead of inches, the cups don't get bigger as quickly as UK brands. In some Polish brands, each cup size goes up by 2cm, and an inch is about 2.5cm. So the further up you go in letter, the more you have to size up in the cup. (Did that makes sense??) If I can find the article on it, I'll post it here for you! :)

November 16, 2015: I must have been measuring differently than everyone, because my cup depth came out way deeper. I measured from inside wire casing to other inside wire casing edge, at the deepest part which was ABOVE the padding, rather than over the padding, so that might be why. (But isn't that what you're supposed to do? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />)

Anyway, this bra is pretty great. Sadly, even with padding between a 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch thick, it did not end up being the cleavage-inducing bra I had hoped it would be, but I guess it does make my breasts look 1-2 sizes ... bigger.... Sooo, a good thing? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Of course I love my breasts, I guess this would just be for days when I want a more busty hourglass look. It would definitely be too closed on top to create cleavage without quadboob, though. The padding is so comfortable, this might even be a good period bra.

Lol, well, apparently with a tight tank top on over the bra, I get a smidgen of a line between my breasts. Considering that they're very wide-set and splayed, this is a major feat, haha!

Anyway, as you can see from my back picture, the straps are RIDICULOUSLY wide!! I'm so glad that they could be unhooked and rehooked in a racer back position, but that creates another problem because at their longest length, they're a bit too short and dig into my shoulders. I wish I could make them just a half inch longer! The straps are really wide in the front too, so when I have my arms forward like they are as I'm typing, the decorative edge rubs painfully into my arm crease. Guess I just have to sit closer to my keyboard so I can spread my elbows more. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />

The wire length is great on the sides. The amount of padding on the side definitely push my breasts more forward. The cup depth is prefect. With regular straps, there's gaps when I slouch, but with the straps racerback I fill the cups perfectly. When I stand up straight, I get the tiniest bit of quad, but it's not crazy (a closed cup shape rather than cups too small). It gives me an insanely rounded look, and while it's not too big of a deal, it still creates a wide breast look from the front, rather than pushing the breasts into a narrow and forward-projected look like I know a lot of EM bras do.

This bra is GORGEOUS (my low light photos don't do it justice! The photos wish flash are much better). The shade of berry compliments my skin, the embroidery is pretty, the details on the straps are pretty, and the bow in the middle is cute. But, for some reason, this bra seems kind of... flimsy? Like, the wires are very flexible, the band is a bit stretchy (I put it on the 2nd of 4 hooks when I found the loosest to bee to loose), and the cups are surprisingly soft and flexible for being molded cups and for the massive amount of padding the cups have. Overall this bra seems really good for a medium-to-wide width, and medium projection. If someone was more projected, they'd have to be very firm or have short roots to not get quad. (Also, the flexible wires and cups stretch flat pretty easily, so might not work at all. Maybe if wires were replaced with more stiff ones?) Luckily, this works for me! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I will definitely keep this bra, and now I know my Kris Line size, and with only one size tried!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

I love my Kris Line too but had a similar issue with the straps. The lace killed me by the end of the day and gave me a sore red spot. I was determined to wear it anyway so I flipped the straps around and wore the decorate lace on the back. It worked!

    • iamstilltrying Ooo that's a good idea! I'll definitely try that next time I wear it if it's too much to handle by the end of the day. :)

    • bonjourhi As for the period comment, it's because mine are the most sensitive to touch and movement probably the day right before and first two days of my period. Some bras feel like they're manipulating my breasts too much, so it feels like they're being pushed on, but this bra has so much padding that it feels like they're sitting on pillows. :)
