Note: This bra no longer fits, but I chose elements of the review based on when it did fit as I thought that would be most useful to someone shopping for this bra.

OK, even though the lace/mesh is extremely scratchy, I loved this bra back when it fit. My boobs tend to creep toward my armpit about 5 seconds after I get everything situated, but this bra held them front and center for a lot longer (and a lot better) than most. I actually looked like I had boobs when I wore it, which made me very happy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The side support ... could have been what really made this bra work for me, but once it got too small it started irritating my arms (I'd hear/feel the snagging on my clothing), and the little pieces of boning started to bow outwards. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" />

One thing I'll concede is that the straps were a bit wide-set for me, but everything else about it made me overlook that for a long time.

    Recommended for:
Wide root, petite women, and high set breasts. Average to wide shoulders would be best.

    Not recommended for:
Narrow root, narrow shoulders (unless you are like me and willing to concede this one point).

This is the firmest band I have ever found in a bra! I usually stick to 30 and 32 bands with my 30.5 firmly measured underbust. However, this 30 band was waaaaay too small for me! I had to use an extender. This band really does not stretch very far.

As for the cups, they were a bit too small for me. I got a weird shape from them as well as a bit of quadraboob. The fabric for the cups is pretty embroidered lace and also has no stretch to it. If I were to try this bra again, I would probably go for a 32J maybe even a 32JJ.

Either way, if you have a small underbust measurement and need a really firm band, you should try this one!

Holy shit this is gorgeous and comfortable. Like most of the Kris Line, it runs a bit tight in the band but fairly true to size in the cup. I would recommend hand washing this bra because of the detailing on it. The straps stay in place and are easily adjusted. I tend to move around a lot, so it's a must.

This bra runs small in the cup so this 30FF that I got on sale (they didn't have a 30F) is a good fit. The lace is beautiful! The band does run big, I put it on the middle hook right away. I get fantastic cleavage with this, I wish Kris Line made 28 bands, as I am shrinking out of 30s.

This bra is gorgeous! I love the materials, and it seems very well made. Unfortunately, Brastop offers a very limited range of sizes in this brand. I seem to be finding that I usually wear between a 28HH and a 28J, but I got this in a 30H because I'd read the band runs tight. I don't find that to be particularly true- I'm an inbetweener 28 (measuring 29" ) and on the tightest hook this fits me well. I think a true 28 would find the band much too large.

The cups might run a touch on the small side. It fits my smaller breast alright, but ... my larger breast bubbles over a good bit resulting in double boob. Luckily this isn't noticeable in clothes, because even though this isn't the best size for me (if given the opportunity I'd purchase a 28J in a heartbeat!) I LOVE the uplift this bra gives! It looks a little pointy without clothes, but once a shirt is on over it your breasts just look high and mighty! For example, bent over naked my bust measurement is 40". In a usual bra, standing, it's around 38", but in this bra it's around 39.5"!

My only other complaint is that the center gore comes up a little high for my close set breasts, and sits on top of breast tissue in the center because of this. Also, the straps adjust short enough for me, but they are not fully adjustable.

The band size is rather tight for a 30. It's not really bothersome when I'm standing, but it cuts into me when I'm sitting for a lengthy period. It didn't really stretch out even after I wore it a few times.
Cup size is also a little small. It may fit seemingly fine when you put it on, but once you start moving, you wont stay in it.
The straps fit comfortably. They don't slide off the shoulders and are wide enough that they don't cut in.

This bra was so very close to fitting. So close. On me, I had to fasten it on the tightest hook to get rid of the pointy effect. Once that was done, the cups were almost perfect... except they were just a touch too narrow for me. I think one cup up (or maybe fixing the band size and hopefully getting a wider cup? I'm not sure) would be perfect. The fabric in the main part of the cup is lined and thick, and the lace on top is pretty (if plain) and not too tight.

But it's beautifully supportive, well made and the band is quite supportive and firm. I really wish this one had fit, it would have been a great basic bra.

See my review of the KrisLine Brillant in the same size. IMO the Fortuna runs very small in the cup.

    • I can't find the review on the Brilliant http://bra.pe/S4N/ . Interesting that you mention the cup difference even though the site finds them similar (which can be missing fit details)

    • Duh, did I only write the review on BF? I'll add it later then. Just note that the Krisline bras both run very small in the cup when compared to Panache and Fantasie bras in what looks like the same size. IIRC Krisline had its own sizing system, need to look into that.

Lovely bra! Super supportive with wide straps and 3 hooks. Slightly padded for extra support and nipple control https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Love it! I hope this becomes a daily essential.

Love. Love. Love. This bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
It is adorable with smooth satin on the bottom half and lace on the top. Wonderful attention to detail in the craftmanship of this bra. Love the rounded shape and the support that it gives.
It's band runs definitely smaller than any of my other 30 size bands. I wear this bra on the loosest hook and there's not much give. Haven't worn it much yet so I don't know how it will stretch. If I had to order again I would probably order a 32 just for comfort. Also, the cups are a bit small so if you run between sizes you might consider ordering a cup size up as well.

I am usually a 30FF in non-American bras (though I may be approaching G territory), but was advised to order the 32 band in this line, as the bands in this line tend to be stretchy. Well, I ended up sending the larger size back for my true size, which fits quite well. There is a bit of weirdness, though. The material used to make the band IS quite stretchy, but the column containing the hooks is a very firm material, so I'd suggest your true band size.

The cups fit nicely, except for a wee bit of spillage that's hardly noticeable. Since the underwire fits perfectly at the sternum and sides, I just assume that it's the balconette style and my breast shape having a small disagreement. Other than that, this bra gives a great shape, high and round, which is perfect for everyday or special occasions.

Great buy. Oh, and it's beautiful ... and comfortable. I'd recommend.
