Very feminine and luxurious. There are rhinestones attached to a very fine lace which has gold threads interwoven. I expect to lose the stones, but I have been careful, and after a couple of washes, so far, so good. The quality seems to be excellent throughout. The band is stretchy but not overly so. To quantify the stretch I would say 5 on a 1-10 scale. It should be a while, I hope anyway, before I have to go to the second set of hooks. The cups, both the fabric and lace, have very little give and offer firm support. There is a significant amount of immediate projection. ... The matching panties are beautiful with a perfect color match, and some rhinestones there too. I got a little bored with what I was finding in the stores and online, so I started to explore several European brands, this being one. This bra comes as close to fitting as it gets for me, with a small amount of wrinkling across the top of the cups where I can't quite fill them. Overall, though, a definite 9 out of 10! I got the set from an eBay seller in Poland brand new for less than $50, and shipping took about 3 weeks. I found a couple of other brands I really like, @Rosme, and @Valea, and I will add them in the next week or so.

I ordered this before learning that Viviane has a little more depth in the cups than the typical Gorsenia. I have a lot of gaping in the lace. However, I probably would have ordered this size anyway because the rest of the cup fits fine and I need a lot of depth at the wire. Loose lace is a common issue for me if the bottom of the cup fits right. I love the opulent look to this bra. There's embroidery in the lace, cup, and straps, a light peach or tan with blue - it's really pretty. The blue thread is sparkly. The cup is completely sheer and a bit scratchier than typical Gorsenias. It reminds me of Curvy Kate's Florence material.

  3. Cheri Soft Underwire Bra (K221)

I have a new favorite brand; Gorsenia is great! Narrower gore than UK's, gorgeous detailing, nice round silhouette, no east-west. The wires are not too wide and neither are the straps on my shoulders. I get tired of adjusting wide set bra straps all day! Cheri seems to run the smallest in the cup of the Gorsenias I've tried. It has a slight minimizing effect under clothes and I'm okay with that. A lot of thought goes into the appearance of these bras, making them look luxurious. Cheri has black lace with silver and burgundy embroidery. This embroidery is carried across the gore and also at the lower point of the strap where it meets the cup. Lovely! It also has great support. I normally have a problem looking wide from the front - east-west comes naturally to me because of wide roots. Cheri pulls in the sides. I think this is the first bra my arms didn't constantly rub the cup.

  4. Lilli-rose Soft Underwire Bra (K237)

This is the most beautiful bra I've ever owned. I'd been uncertain of Gorsenia because I didn't know about their sizing. It seems they run big in the cups as it's a size smaller than I usually get in other brands. This one is a full cup. It has gorgeous lace with matching embroidery that runs down the strap onto the cup. It has plenty of projection at the wire. It is not stretch lace at the top of the cup but it's designed for upper fullness. The wires are narrower than UK brands, which I appreciate, but this one doesn't seem as narrow as Gaia wires for comparison. The material is very soft, gives a flattering round silhouette, but the wires are really squeaky.

    Fits

After months of feeling very unhappy in most of my bras and not finding anything new that fit comfortably, I'm focusing more on Gorsenia again, since the Solange is probably my best fitting and most comfortable bra. This is a new model, the Yasminne, and I love it already. All the pics online showed it as a sort of pinky-beige, but it's not very pink in person. It's actually almost identical to the fabric used in Ewa Michalak's BM Bibi Beżowa Perła, quite possibly the same material IMO. This pleases me, because the color is a great nude for me.

Fit-wise, I'm pretty happy. The band on my Solange ... stretched out rather quickly, so this time I sized down to a 65. It's very snug right now, so I'll be using an extender until I break it in. There's tons of immediate projection, the straps are a good width, and the low gore helps it not dig into tissue. I just wish their bands had a longer life before they stretch out, but in fairness I have worn that bra a LOT.

When I move just right, there's almost a bit of quadding near the gore on my larger breast, but I'm not sure going up another size would work or not. Gorsenia's size chart is strange compared with other Polish models I've tried, as going one band size down doesn't always mean going up one cup size would get you the same cup volume - the 70E cup is listed as 90-92cm bust measurement, but the 65F is only 87-89. I'm tempted to try a 65G next time, as that would be closer with 89-91, but with my short roots I'm afraid I wouldn't fill the lace part or would lose the wonderful narrowness of the wires.

Speaking of lace, it has what seems to be typical Gorsenia embroidery, mostly in the same color as the bra but also with grey accents. It's not really my preferred aesthetic, but with the comfortable fit I can't complain too much. I'll probably be removing the bows on the straps, though, along with the side boning, as it pokes under my arms as it is.

This may be my go-to brand for a while, just to have bras that don't ride down or dig in at the gore. It just takes picking the models carefully and staying away from the full cups with the taller gores.

This bra looks great on you! I might have to give Gorsenia another try. Thanks for the review!

    • 1

Beautiful! Like you the gore is too wide for me, also. But, the immediate projection is awesome. :-)

    • Thank you both! I wish I could find that perfect combo of narrow gore plus projection, but alas. My Comexim gores are the best, but the projection has been crappy lately. I need to start altering them or something.

Hmmm...This bra has dimensions similar to the 65H Caramel, unlined. However, it fits differently. The cup width requires more band length than the smaller 65H Caramel. And, this pulls the cups shallow: I require an extender. I noticed this same phenomenon in a 30GG Curvy Kate. The 30G did not require an extender, but the 30GG did.

The color is a red-orange with black polka dots and embroidery. The cups include cookie pockets, but no cookies. Lined with cotton, the cup fabric is comfortable and supportive. In this size, the straps are too wide-set for me. However, considering the cup dimension, I don't think a 65H would fit ... well because the cup would be too narrow.

The top of the cup wrinkles near the gore NOT because the cup is too big but because the gore is too wide. The gore rolling onto one breast creates slack along the cup edge and the appearance that the cup is unfilled. I have lost count of the number of bras that appeared too big because of a too-wide gore. If you have center-full and close-set breasts, this fit issue may plague you, too. If the gore wires had space to tack, this cup volume would be nearly perfect.

The straps are more narrow than Comexim but the same width as Ewa Michalak. The band is a single layer of mesh like Ewa Michalak, but less robust than the double layer Comexim bands. I prefer Comexim fabrics, but the center shallowness of Comexim designs moves me to Gorsenia. The price and rapid delivery make these a great find for center-full, immediately projected breasts.

Soooo pretty! Consistent fit/size with the Marine meaning larger in the cup and smaller in the band than the size chart would indicate. That's great news for folks like me who are borderline sized out. I could use a 70k (I'm roughly 34H in UK sizing and round but fuller on top with narrow roots).
Shape, comfort and support are excellent. Good immediate projection. 3-part vertical cup is very open on top. Fully adjustable straps, 3 rows of 3 hooks, quality materials and construction.
The color is definitely a pale pink rather than the lavender the stock photo depicts.
A fab bra for a fab price; maybe my new favorite brand?!

    Sizing:
Having tried Gorsenia , Dalia and Ava there could be a sizing trend with PADDED Polish bras.
According to most conversion my true EU size should be 90F/95E but I had to drop down to 90E/95D to fit into Gorsenia Leila Padded Balcony Bra (K241) and 90E - Dalia » Anna Big (K27) or Irina (K27).

In both cases the issue with 95E was the cups were TOO TALL => too voluminous.
I might have slightly shorter than average roots and it seems these multi-part, vertically seamed & padded bras are designed for the ... AVERAGE to SLIGHTLY TALLER than average breast ROOTS.

    Fit:
The bra gave me uplift and a very round profile due to the padded, shaped cup but no center/forward shaping.
I have medium-set breasts and prefer medium to narrow gores but never needed overlapping wires. On this bra the gore floated, not quite tacking until I bent the wires to the point of soft tack.
The levelled edge of the cups meant no strap gap and exposed tissue which is nice for some necklines. But if your tissue is soft, you will bounce and jiggle.

  9. Verona Soft Underwire Bra (K146)

My shape: tallish, widish, splayed roots, very close set at the top; evenly full top and bottom; slightly center full; pendulous; need a good bit of depth at the wire. Best fits are Panache 34G/36FF.

I had tried Nathalie which is a soft cup in the 200 series. After reading Love4Pollinators comparison between the 100 and 200 series http://www.bratabase.com/browse/gorsenia/cheri-soft-underwire-bra-k221/65H/ I was eager to try a 100 series bra so when I saw Verona available again in my size I added it. Although Nathalie was too large in the cups in this size I thought the 100 series might fit smaller so I ordered my ... usual size. As soon as I put it on I thought, "hmm, this feels EXACTLY like Nathalie." Now that I've measured this Verona I can confidently say that it IS exactly like Nathalie. Here's a link to the comparison: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dikq9/vs/bra/dipkh/. So my thought is that when Gorsenia decided to bring this model back, they changed the cut to the same as the 200 series.

I am disappointed. I was looking forward to wider wires and was hoping the gore would be lower like in the stock photos. The materials are not as nice as the ones in Nathalie either. The back is a single layer sheer power mesh and the cup material is stiffer and not as smooth. Straps are pretty wide, which is great for larger breasts but a little bit of overkill in this size.

Construction is very good. The 3 hook band is firm and secure with flexible side stays. Underwires tack firmly but are not stabby. Even though the cups are too large, the shape is nicely rounded.

It's a good bra for the price, but Gorsenia has a lot of beauties that I prefer to this one.

Ugh. The lack of clear model descriptions is so frustrating!

    • 1

And, now I have hope the beautiful Natalie may fit. But, I've lost interest. These manufacturers will publish their wire width, cup depth, gore height, etc before I buy another. Might be a "cold day in hell" before that happens. ;-)

    • 1

They have probably abandoned the older cut. On here it seems like most people want narrower wires. I need wider ones but I need depth at the wire too and not many bras have that.

I got a Nathalie in 75H, the cup width is only 5.5"! I can get all my tissue into it but I'm not sure how long I can wear it. The band is a little tight and the spacing between the hooks is weird. I have special size extenders on order so once they come in I can figure out if it works or not.

I have narrow roots, pendulous tissue, am immediately projected, and have very malleable breast tissue. I prefer the kind of appearance in a bra that I don't naturally have - perky and uplifted. This lightly padded style from Gorsenia is very beautiful. The embroidered details and hint of sparkle (looks like metallic thread applied judiciously in the embroidery) make this otherwise dullish-satin gray bra quite pretty. The straps are happily fully adjustable, and stretchy but not too stretchy. There is just enough upper containment that I don't fall out of the cups when I bend over. There is a good amount of uplift, and although the immediate projection just OK, the bra still fits well. The cups are lined with some magical microfiber-like material that is sooooo soft. In fact, that's my overall impression of this bra - soft. For the price point this bra is awesome. My only complaint relates to the cup sizing - the scale on Polish bras seems different than on US/UK bras. I am glad I went up two cups from my usual 32F.

    • Oh hey, randomly here 3 years later but this maybe helps someone else out. You did not go up two cup sizes. EU sizes go A-B-C-D-E-F-G, so G is the 7th cup, just like UK F.

This is a sheer, sexy looking bra. The embroidery is gorgeous, and it runs up part of the length to the straps. Just a beautiful bra (I also tried the Salma and Audrey). This cup fit similarly to the Salma, but not as gapey along the upper edge like the 65H Audrey. The material isn't the softest, so the bra wasn't the most comfortable. The shape was part awesome uplifted round, but (on me at least), also gave me a weird squared boob affect on the front of my breasts. Odd. Not sure if that was just because it was new? The cups are very wide, the gore base quite narrow.

This is a wide bra-6.6". But, it contains all of my breast tissue, doesn't cause my lymph nodes to scream, and holds all of my breast tissue in its cradle. Most often, my side tissue is uncomfortably bisected by a wire, but this 6.6" wire has encapsulated all my side tissue. Although the Gorsenia half cup I recently tried had excellent immediate projection, this design is wide and shallow. There is a Gorsenia bra for everyone https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

Note for short-waisted Bratabase users: I'm not wide rooted. However, wing heights taller than 3.25" gouge breast tissue that resides in my armpit. If the cup ... width is narrow and the wings taller than 3.25", my underarm tissue and perhaps lymph nodes are bisected. I have not yet found a bra with short enough, narrow wires to prevent this bisection. So, wider wires are fitting me better.

The firm band also helps keep my side tissue forward. This band provides great support. The mesh is not as fine as Comexim's wing mesh, but it remains comfortable. The wings are one layer of black mesh.

Fabrics are not as fine/soft as Comexim and Ewa Michalak, and the fabrics feel like they have a higher plastic content. However, the seams are nearly invisible under thin knits. Advantage Gorsenia.

Finally, the base of the gore was too wide. After a few minutes, the wire was impressioned along my most center-full breast. This didn't happen when I wore the Gorsenia half cup. So, the half cup is a better style for me.

Great review...thank you! I like this brand too because their soft cups are gorgeous but the fit is tricky...one downfall. Plus the support is not quite the same as other brands. Still tend toward them for their pretty fabrics on the soft cups though :)

    • 1

If you overlapped the wires at the gore, would this solve your problem. You've done it before. :)

    • 1

Wanabee It is possible :-) There are (gulp) several other Goirsenia models arriving soon. I'll pick a few to modify after they all arrive.

The band is tight enough, I'll take an extender with the alteration. :-)

    • Ok; yes, I hadn't thought about the alteration reducing the size of the band.

Slightly narrow, projected, omega shape, center full, close set, short-waisted....

Narrow, projected breasts will LOVE this bra!! 4.8" wide and 10" deep. Wow!! Note: Comexim sizes and Gorsenia sizes are wildly different. Check measurements and add measurements https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

The fabrics are soft and supple. The construction similar to Comexim. And, the center projection better than most (99% of other manufacturers).

I need a wider wire. However, if you have narrow, projected, center-full breasts, Gorsenia offers a treasure trove of readily available options. 12 days shipping, $26, Amazon and Ebay purchasing options. The gore, however, is .8" wide. However, ... because the lower gore is more narrow than most brands, narrowing the upper gore will not tilt/open the cups as much as it does when narrowing gores in other brands. Because of this, I've ordered a variety of Gorsenia models specifically for gore modification experiments. I'm optimistic this brand will fit better than any other wired bra I've tried.

The long-term durability does not seem as good as Comexim or Ewa Michalak. But, the immediate and center projection are better than Comexim. Compared to Ewa Michalak, this model has more immediate and center projection than the S cut. Compared to the Ewa Michalak PL, the Gorsenia models I've tried place the cup apex closer to center. This is why these cups fit my center full, close set breasts better than other brands. If you have less close set breasts, Gorsenia may not fit as well as other brands.

    Another outstanding Polish bra!!

Runs a full cup size big. True to size band. Deep cups. Decent room at the center gore and the bottom of the cup. Wires are a narrow U-shape, rounded on the bottom, almost vertical on the sides. They are slightly soft and may flex a little wider when worn. Straps have low stretch, are fully adjustable and are slightly thicker but proportionate to the bra. Has non-poky side boning - the tips are positioned under the strap elastic so they don't bother me in the slightest. Three hook band makes for a sturdy fit and despite the vertical wire shape and full band construction the side wing ... isn't very tall.

I rated the looks as good because there are a few elements that cheapen the look. The point of interest of this bra is clearly the strappy detailing but the double layer of mesh that comprises the upper section of the cup and the center gore looks very nice in person too and makes the bra look sexier and more low cut. This might be necessary because the center gore is clearly very high and they've used embroidered applique to disguise where the thin straps attach. The same detailing is used on the sides to disguise attachment at the straps. Also, there's a smaller applique along the outer edges of the cups. Sadly these look a little bit cheap. They're removable but on closer inspection that would reveal some not so nice seaming work. I'm also not thrilled by the shiny black fabric used for the lower sections of the cup, it does look cheap. I wish they'd use the reverse because it is much less shiny and matches the band material much better, and the shiny side would be softer against the body.

Unfortunately, the padding makes it just too small. The amount of quadding on my larger side of a lot! It actually almost fits my smaller side. I am an 80K in several other Gorsenias, but this one is much smaller than those (all unlined).

I believe this one is discontinued, so I was happy to find one (just one) in my size via Fit Au Max. I love the stretch lace because not only does it accommodate my asymmetry, somehow it doesn't show very much at all under smooth tops! It isn't a very tight or strong lace, however, so they're is still a little jiggle, but I feel contained enough that I wish they still made these, and offered more colors. Sometimes the gore is a little high for me, but overall, I think this is my favorite bra of my collection to date.

Unlike the other Gorsenias, Ewa's and Comexims I've tried, this style feels like it has less immediate depth and manages to just push all of my tissue into a clownish witch tit toward the heavens, outer breast creases weirdly at sides where sideboob has noplace to go (well it MIGHT have gone toward the ... center of cup like with Mimi, but clearly wasn't about to be tricked this time).

So anyways, here I am with the armpit squish yet again. Half of a half cup unfilled with a totally bizarre squashed boob Madonna-cone-spike jutting up hopefully toward the hem in a way that I've never seen yet (and believe I've seen a LOT of crazy shit on this journey), trying to rationalize how the hell did we manage to find a technically wide enough fit that for once isn't pulling flat across the bottom of the cup for once in this lifetime, but also!

bottom of underwire wanders off (to hell knows)

dragging with it my hopes and dreams

into the abyss! verily so it goes.

I sigh and grab my bag, it's too late for this shit again

I walk out with not 1! Not 2! But TWO (as the kids say), TWO hopefully-concealing tops, maybe if the center fullness of doom finds it's way out of the rather insecure-feeling upper cup, at least it will have several more layers to chew it's way out thru before the national guard is alerted to stop it's horrific rampage.

An hour in, things start feeling really bitey around the sternum. I take a break, and wow, just WOW, there will be bruises. Lots of tp is stuffed into the gore, this travesty is forgotten (but not the pressure).
Lunch comes and goes, I deeply regret not bringing Mimi as a backup. What fool am I.

It's been 3 months, and while the wires and band have been worked out, this bra takes last place against Mimi (fot friendly), HM Burgund (semi open top), & Freya's Lexi (hem is prone to cutting in on top). I believe that if it were made with much immediate depth and slightly shallower toward the hem it's cakes on a plate effect would have been epic. Instead my huge shallow/wide roots-only breasts are confused and lost in this underwhelming style.

    Gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS.

Typical fit and styling for foam halfcups from this brand. That is, shallower than their popular balcony counterparts.

Slightly stretchy & malleable in the fit, bottom of cup's depth is only 7" across, upper runs closer to 9"-9.25", curves back in probably because my boob is eating the cup from the inside out near the wire.

Gore stabby stabs and once again we hit the escape buttom, abort mission. Into the fashion faves & fit fails trunk it goes.
