  1. Carmel Soft Underwire Bra (K019)

NOTE: This is a wider Gorsenia. The average data Bratabase shows for this model (and all wider Gorsenia models) is incorrect. Please view the individual bra measurements to ensure you purchase what will best fit.

Wow! This unlined bra fits better than any other I've tried. And, the support is as good as my Shock Absorber. Whoa. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Although the gore is too wide at the top and the bottom, the center projection is better than any other brand I've worn. The immediate projection is stellar: it did not collapse while I was driving. Every other wired bra I have owned failed the "driving ... test."

    Lift. Check.
    Rounding. Check.
    Centering. Check.
    Comfort. Check.
    Support. Check.

The wires perfectly follow my root along my smaller breast, and I do not have the lingering bruising sensation wired bras often bestow on my body. Most wired bras I can wear for a few minutes, but this bra passed the two hour mark with ease. No bruising. Wonderful. However, the wire was sitting on the inside and outside of my smaller breast. So, I may need a 65I.

I suspicion my soft tissue is compressible. This characteristic may be the cause of the swelling that is all too familiar in wired bras. For instance, I didn't notice my breasts were compressed in the 65G Caramel until they could expand in the 65H Caramel. Routinely, others have suggested I need to "try a smaller size." This has been very unwise, painful advice to follow. It also resulted in a large, swollen lymph node. I share this as an aid to others who may have compressible tissue. Listen to your breasts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Here is an album with photos of my breasts in various levels of compression: http://www.bratabase.com/albums/bgv/

The cup height near my shoulder is my nemesis. It is too tall. The gore height is comfortable, but the width is not. The gore base, which I had hoped would be narrower, is too wide, like every other brand I've tried. When removing the bra after a 2 hour trial, the typical wire impression was visible around half of one breast. My breasts do not tolerate wires without significant swelling https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Wireless bras for me until the designers create dramatically different wired bras.

For a comparison of how Ewa Michalak unlined bras fit me vs Gorsenia, look here: http://www.bratabase.com/albums/w2/

Gorsenia has thoroughly impressed me, and I do not hesitate to recommend them for projected, center-full breasts.

Yay! I'm so happy that you found a bra that meets most fit criteria! I ordered 3 Gorsenia models a couple weeks ago, so now I'm even more excited to get them in the mail!

    • 1

      Woo! Bra that works sometimes!

    • 1

cupandahalf Imagine my surprise and elevation ;-) ;-)

@Wilderness1 I hope you, too, find something to love about your Gorsenia bras. The price makes it so much easier for me to purchase them. And, they fit me better than Comexim, Ewa Michalak, Lejaby, Empreinte, Curvy Kate, Freya,....better than the others. :-) Sigh. Finally.

    • alanapoppy This brand may be a good option for you. The K200 series has particularly narrow wires. This model is from the K000 series. I don't know anything about the K100 series....yet ;-)

    Fits

I can't find a "regular" softcup balcony style bra that fits me as well as a Gorsenia. They look great under everything and sizing is so consistent.

I have gushed about them constantly and I'm certain you're all sick of it.

All I'm going to say about Rebecca is this:

    1. It fits perfectly and is perfectly comfortable as expected

    2. It has a unique colour

    3. When Ewa Michalak released Wenecja (Petrol Blue) it looked more than a little familiar.

Why? Because this bra had already been on my wishlist for months by that time.

Much thanks to MagdaBras4you for getting it for me 🙏💗

    EM bra: about 200pln

My first thought when I saw your photos was Bm Wenecja but prettier/sexier. Gorsenia definitely beat Ewa with this one, hands down. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! 😍

    • 2

MamaPagan Yup! They did it first and they did it better. They also did it in black and a very light pinky beige (called Parisienne - I'll do it next week). They will do it in metallic black, navy and light blue next season. Check out the variety of patterns in the lace. I find this one is lighter and airier than Wenecja. They also do Paradise (which is the same but with strappies and in black) which is coming out in red in the fall. I have been watching the details and colours, patterns, etc of the other companies and it seems that EM is a step behind. e.g. the double strap detail on my Kinga limpid, she copied on the remake of Opium. I've been just waiting for her to do decorated straps a la KL (who she used to work for) hmmmmm....I'm not dissing...just noticing. "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery"

    • The only thing she has going for her is her extended size range, am I right? 😄

    • 2

      MamaPagan imho, yes.

    • I love this bra. You make me want to try Gorsenia. My EM ride or dies are the PL cut and the SM cut. what gorsenia models would be similar to those?

    • 1

You look wonderful in it! I am glad that I could help you in receiving him!😘

    • 1

gratiat I will tell you what I have noted after having tried about 30 Gorsenia bras...

Gorsenia is not really known for padded bras. I would never say it is their forte.

They do a few padded balconettes each season - similar to CHP. They are usually BEAUTIFUL and I always pray for them to fit me. I tried them a long time ago, just after my augmentation surgery when my breasts were still VERY round and VERY firm and I couldn't get a tack. i.e. not enough projection. Close, but, back then, no cigar.

Now that I am softened, I am going to try them again VERY soon-I am waiting for something to go on sale ;)

As for padded plunges...they have a staple in their basic line called Toscana and they put out maybe 1 other semi-plunge type bra per season (shaped more like a S but less padded).

I would never say that any of Gorsenia's padded styles are like EM padded bras. They don't have cookie pockets, they aren't as heavily padded nor are they as projected.

Funny you would mention EM Plunge - I wore mine yesterday (I haven't in a long time) and I HATED it.

I told MagdaBras4you aBras4you that I felt like I was wearing a bulletproof vest all day.

I have gotten so used to wearing ultra light soft cups and more recently have satisfied my padded-wearing situations with semi-softs from Kinga.

Now, about the soft bra comparison to EM styles...I see you own both BM and SM, so are aware of the fit difference ;)

The SM cup has no stretch, has less projection at the wire than a BM and has more of an angled-up shape at the bottom of the breast than a BM. I would compare a Gorsenia softcup bra (like the one I am wearing here) more to a half-lace BM like Bibi Bianca - it has no stretch at the bottom of the cup but, it has even a little more projection at the wire.

Gorsenia soft cup bras are also much lighter than Ewa's BM bras. I find in our size range, they are cut more delicately, if that makes any sense.

I hope that helps. If you would like more info, please contact myself or MagdaBras4you

It would be our pleasure to help you!!

This is really pretty, I'm all for more teal lace. I wish I liked Gorsenia more, I'd buy this too. I might bite on the Aqua Sky though, just cause I'm a sucker for light blue and just have one sky colored set.
Ewa has done split straps in the past. I'm not sure when the limpid was made but Ewa released the Gazeta in 2013 and that had split straps.

    Fits

After having 100% success rate with Gorsenia soft cups made with knitwear lower cups and embroidered or lace upper cups, I decided to try the 3 full lace models that they released last season: Caren (black), Madera (fuschia) and Simena (deep violet grey).

At first, MagdaBras4you sent me the 3 bras in my usual size - 65G. However, much to our surprise, they were too small!! Especially this one - Caren. It was the smallest of them all.

I often read here that bras made in black colourways often fit smaller than the same style in other colours. I have found this to be true for my ... 3 black Gorsenia bras. My half-knit softcups are indeed smaller but still fit in 65G, but this one was MUCH smaller. Why? I do not understand this, since the fabrics are cut after dying. hmmmm...

Magda sent me this bra again, this time in 65H and it fits perfectly and its measurements are consistent with my 65G halfknits. BIZARRE.

Caren is a very simple black lace bra with black mesh lining. The lace is delicate and fine with a subtle floral pattern. There is some stretch to the lace, however, not as much as is in the lace of an Ewa Michalak full lace BM bra, nor is the lace as thick or as soft/smooth as would be found on a BM. However, it is still a very nice lace, especially considering the price - regularly about $50, on sale for half that. It also lays flatter, and is invisible under a coloured t-shirt (I find the thick pattern of EM lace shows through t-shirts and tops).

The cups of this bra are sewn in classic 3-part balcony style with 1 vertical seam.

Yes, there is a clear plastic stability strip lining the top of the cup.

The gore and wings are also transparent lace like the cups.

The band is made of black powermesh. It has 3 rows of 2 hooks.

There is side-boning on the wing, but it is very soft and flexible, and quite comfortable. I find Gorsenia wings to fit low, so no arm-pit digging.

The only adornment is a small satin bow at the gore and the lace that extends up over the straps.

The straps on this size are wider than those on a 65G. I LOVE this. They are fully adjustable.

I chose brazilian panties to make the set. They are soft and a super nice cut.

After wearing the bra for a full 24-hour day(I slept in it too) on a bust and ribcage that is presently sore and bruised from surgery, I can attest to the high level of comfort of this bra. Not once did I beg to get out of it.

Another softcup win for me from Gorsenia.

Sounds dreamy! 😍 Glad you found another win.

Wow this bra is so beautiful! I'm not a big fan of Polish bras (other than EM of course) because I find the design too flashy. But I must admit that Polish brands have come a long way and their latest creations have nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks for letting us discover all these beautiful findings. This one looks great on you!

    • 1

Looks great but odd how the bra looks blue in the pictures not on you.

I've been curious about Gorsenia for some time but reluctant to order since they're completely unknown to me and I'm really happy with my Ewa bras.
However, with the rise in prices and the lack of new releases, I thought it a good time to branch out and finally give Gorsenia a try.

Overall, I really like this bra but it' not going to be an Ewa replacement for me.

    What I like:

    * How narrow the wires are. They're nearly .5" smaller in tip to tip measurements than my BMs and I love it! They are perfect and don't sit on my ribs on the side at all. These narrow wires ... are coupled with some excellent wire projection.

    * How soft the wires are. Ewa uses very firm wires, which is understandable for her cup construction, but sometimes they're too firm. Comexim uses super soft wires on the other end of that range. These fall in between. Not too firm, not too soft, just right.

    * Nice rounded shape that is slightly minimized from the front.

    * The band is true to size. It's a 65 that stretches to just slightly over 30".

    * The materials are thick and supportive.

    * Fully adjustable straps.

    * They're really inexpensive.

    What I don't like:

    * The gore is way too high for me and it presses into my sternum painfully.

    * The gore is wider than my Ewa bras and coupled with the height it's really uncomfortable for me.

    * The materials are noticeably inferior compared to what Ewa uses. They're not *bad* really, but they don't feel as luxe and high end as Ewa's jersey and lace.

    * The band does not have even tension, it's snugger at the top and the bottom where the elastic is but not through the band itself. This is something I very much associate with cheap construction.

Something else I don't like that isn't related to the bra itself is the bottoms. I really strongly dislike the bottoms that go with this bra. They fit, but they are far too full coverage for me and the elastic used between the lace and jersey along the back is too tight and it digs into my cheeks creating a really unlovely quad butt effect. The trouble with that is I can't just size up to combat that because then they will be far too loose on my hips. I prefer Ewa's bottoms as they lack that leg elastic the majority of the time and I can fit my hips properly since they won't dig into my cheeks.
I'm a set buyer, and what I think of the bottoms will often determine if I buy a bra or not. Unfortunately, Gorsenia's sort of suck for me.

I did buy a few more of the Gorsenia bras in colors I liked in a similar cut to the Paloma. It fit well enough to where if I like a colorway I'm okay spending $50 or so on a set, as that's less than just the bra from Ewa, but I'm not going to be switching my brand loyalty any time soon.

    Didn't fit

I will preface this by saying, I ordered this bra, figuring that there was a chance that it may not fit, but because I heard that Gorsenia tends to be more open in the cup, I decided to try it.

Okay moving on. This bra is absolutely gorgeous. The lighting doesn't show it well, but the it's this deep, navy blue with embroidery details along the upper mesh section and the straps. The cup is a three part construction consisting of an upper mesh layer as well as a lower section divided by a vertical seam. The lower section seems to be made out of a material that's a ... strong quality? I think it will hold up with time, at the same time it feels soft against the skin.

The band stretches from 25 inches to 29.5 inches. For reference I wear a 28 back, and I have to hook this one up on the tightest hook. The cup depth was measured for both maximum and minimum. It was the maximum cup depth that I placed in the measurement field. The maximum cup depth was measured by stretching the cup over the knee. This was recorded at 14.25 inches. The minimum cup depth was measured by hovering the cup between the knees and hanging the tape measure. This was recorded at 13.25 inches.

In terms of cup width I'd probably put it slightly, less narrow than Panache, but still wide (wider than Ewa Michalak bras that's for sure)

As for the fit, I am spilling over both cups, more so on the larger side. I will note that the tip of the mesh section, after the elastic stitching, doesn't quite lie flat. I do wonder if the cutting in is due to the stitching on the mesh, or just because it's too small/does not have the amount of space I need in that section. The gore doesn't lie flat, but again, I rarely have bras that do, and it is not a deal breaker for me. There is empty space at the bottom of the bra as well as some of the sides due to how far back the wires go. So unfortunately this bra didn't work for me, but it is a gorgeous bra, so if you fit within this range and the wires, depth, etc. suits you, I'd say go for it.

I ordered this from MagdaBras4you whose customer service was excellent and kept me informed every step of the way.

My shape: FOB, narrow roots and shoulders, soft tissue, projected
Appearance: This bra is simply beautiful! It's a semi-sheer, 3 part cup with delicate blue and orangish floral embroidery that has sparkly silver threads interwoven through it. The back of the band is a light blue satin. The embroidery travels up the straps about halfway.
Fit: So I misunderstood the sizing of this bra, thinking the redditor I bought it from has given me the UK size. I did ask her if the sizing was UK and not EU, and she assured me it was. Well, lo and behold, my suspicions were right and this is two cups too small. ... (It's a 30:7 and I wear a 30:9 or 30:10, depending on brand) It fits on the bottom and the straps are nice and narrow, but it's not projected enough for me at all. I am so sad, because it's so pretty and the straps seemed nice and narrow, just how I like them!
I'm going to try to find a similar Gorsenia bra in my for real size, and hope the straps aren't too wide with the larger cup size.

      It is a gorgeous bra!
Just an FYI, Vivaine does run large compared to other Gorsenia models by about 2 cups (at least in the 65M.)

The other models in the same style (like Soleil) are the same way.

In 65M Viviane/Soleil were 1"-1.5" deeper at the apex compared to the other Gorsenia models in the same size I tried, but the overall cup was also roomier making it more like 2 cups larger in comparison. (Can compare my Soleil & Vivaine to Attina, Aida, Mistyrose in 65M, and the Soleil in 65K as well for details.) :-)

    • Oooo, I wondering how in the heck I was able to even get the darn bra ON! It didn't squish me as much as a normal bra 2 cups sizes too small would, except on my larger side. I was trying to fit into it so hard, hahah!
So what are other styles like this one, so I know what to look for?

    • 1

Ohh, nevermind, I see a bunch already listed up there! How have I never used that part of Bratabase in all these years of being here? GEEZ! LOL!

    • 1

I know next to the bra it does say "bras with same cut" but I am fairly sure those are not all correct.

I'd tried Soleil then saw Viviane which looked identical except blue instead of yellow so I tried it. In between I'd tried the others I listed above and found them to be too small in the cup and nothing like the Soleil. :-(

I haven't figured out a style indicator for Gorsenia yet, but maybe magdalenahukalowicz knows how to tell them apart?

Otherwise I'll see if I can do a bit of research and come up with a pattern or style number like with Gaia. I'll let you know if I figure it out. :-)

    • I looked up the Soleil, and now I have a MIGHTY NEED for a yellow bra like that. It's so pretty!!
And if you find out anything, report back your findings! I'm sure there are others here who would be interested in that, too! Thanks!

    • mandapandarawks I am so sad this wasn't the right size for you! I know you were looking forward to trying it. :( Hopefully you can find a Gorsenia that works perfectly for you!

MamaPagan I too am so thankful for all your information! I'd looked at this same model and would have gotten the wrong size.

    • That's what I'm here for. :-) I know I based my Gorsenia purchases off how Soleil fit & was sadly disappointed when the others did not fit the same (or at all haha. )

I've downloaded Gorsenia's catalogs (2012-2018) and I'm going through them to see if I can find patterns now. Not sure how long it will take but I'll let you all know what I find.

    • 2

Alrighty! Soleil and Vivaine are both from the SS15 line and they are the only two that look like they follow that "runs large" pattern . I'm still going to dig deeper and see what I can find *which will consist on doing a visual side by side compare of the similar description. Gorsenia bras in all 13 catalogs and seeing if I can find a pattern* :-) but figure that may be why the style is still available new 3 years later as it's most likely a regular return due to sizing.
Hopefully Magda will have more info on differentiating Gorsenia styles.....

    • Would you say the Viviane and Soleil fit bigger as in cup depth, so more projected?
I found a Viviane for sale in 65J on allbrasizes.com; I've never heard of that website, so I am a bit nervous to order it straight away.
Amazon and eBay don't have it for sale in any size close to mine. :(
I can't find Soleil anywhere, either.

    • I'd say just more "space" all around. So for mine, they were more projected by 1"+ at the apex compared to the other 3 in the same size, plus more room in the cup altogether making them more than just 1 cup larger that a 1" difference would indicate. Both above and below the apex had more room. (Think Vaulted ceilings and a drop floor mansion compared to a turn of the century cottage. :D)

Unfortunately I do not have the Gorsenia bras any longer to compare details specifically and I never took "bra on" photos of them due to poor fits, so I can only go by memory & my notes. But if it helps, the other 3 Gorsenia soft cup bras I tried in 65M (30:13) fit in the cup more like a Ewa SM in 28K(equate to a 30JJ or 30:14), while Viviane and Soleil 65M were more like a 28L(30KK 30:16) SM. The Soleil in 65K fit like the other 3 soft cup 65M Gorsenia which confirmed my 2 cups bigger theory to me.

There are two Gorsenia soft cups with measurements in a 65G on here, maybe comparing those to this one might help?

      https://www.bratabase.com/browse/gorsenia/carmel-soft-underwire-bra-k019/65G/

      https://www.bratabase.com/browse/gorsenia/patti-soft-underwire-bra-k263/65G/

This is the only listing I can find for Soleil right now:
      https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gorsenia-K201-Soleil-Charming-Available/dp/B00ZRI9JHK

And if it helps at all, here's the link to the Gorsenia catalogs, 2012 to 2018 pdf downloads:
      https://sklep.gorsenia.pl/katalogi,38

Maybe comparing fit (cup height/depth, gore, & strap placement) might help? Also there are a lot of cute designs coming this fall! :-)

    • Alrighty, so just to throw a monkey wrench into the logic, I must point out an additional tidbit. The other 3 Gorsenia 65M I tried are not from their 2012-2018 line and doesn't follow the G or K numbering system but instead the former 5 # system. So..... I now don't know if those older models were true to their current offerings or if Viviane and Soleil are more true to their current sizing. There's 46 models entered that predate their catalog stock (the 3 mentioned included) and use the 3-5 numeric system, then several from SS12 that started the G/K system but predates the catalogs as well.

So with that all said, I'd assume the 3-5 numerics will fit the same, and would venture to say that they K/G system most likely would have the same fit for style (so the soft underwire bras would fit them same as others in that K/G system but not necessarily fit like the padded styles.)

After reading several of the other reviews, I do see the unlined do seem to run larger in general, with a few noting needing to go 1-2 cups smaller than their UK/Comexim size equivalents.
Another common theme was the wide cups/wires/strap placement as well as the unpadded being full coverage and tall.....
Okay. I think I'm done now. Hope it all helps!

    • 1

      Thanks for all that info!
So I emailed Magda, and she said she had a 65I and 65J available of the Viviane, so I went ahead and ordered the 65J. Here's hoping the wideness isn't an issue and it fits me!
Unfortunately, no Soleil available. I'll just have to keep an eye on eBay and maybe I will get lucky. Or perhaps there will be a different sunny yellow bra I can try!
My goal is to get a bra of every color, hahah.

    • That's one of my goals too! Ewa has this one but it's now down to only 3 bras left :-(

      https://www.ewa-michalak.pl/product-eng-1272-Bra-M-Niebieskie-Migdaly.html

      It's so pretty!
Was Magda able to get you the Kostar Lime bra?

Yep! I should be getting it, and a couple others, in the next few weeks. ( I ordered a flowery blue Gaia and a black Ava bra with it) It was a balconette, which doesn’t tend to work for me, so I’m hoping it fits. I ordered the neon orange one today, along with the Viviane, so if the green doesn’t work, I’ll at least have a neon orange one on the way!

    • Awesome! I am so excited for you and hope they all fit!!!

    • 1

I got a bra for Viviane and Orange for you. I sent it to you today ... I hope you will receive it soon and they will suit you :)

    75J

    Fits

After scoping out the limited info here and studying their size chart, I ultimately decided on the 75J (the largest size in this style) because this bra was screaming my name. I was forced to order the matching briefs (3X) because, duh, matching set?!
The fit is crazy close to perfect because it's so open on top; it fits me more like a half cup than the stock photo indicates. My boobs are very round, narrow rooted and fuller on top - think balloons on a wall - so I struggle to find sufficient immediate projection. (It used to be quadraboob, but this site helped me ... get past that!) I also struggle to find lower height cups because I'm relatively short-torso'd and most bras lose their sexy when they come up to your neck. This bra manages to provide sufficient projection while being an appropriate scale for my body and the shape is excellent.
If they made a 70K, I think it would be perfect but it's certainly close enough to have been placed in heavy rotation already. For reference, I am roughly a 34H+ in UK sizing.
The only problem with this bra is that I get a bit of in-cup quadding where the 3 vertical sections of the bottom meet the horizontal-ish section of the top. I can't tell if it's a result of the decorative overlay that is stitched there, or if it's the base structure that allows it happen but it's only visible under thinner tops. Since the lace is textured, and the bra is a pretty bright color, I wouldn't choose it for a thinner top anyway.
Some other features of the bra: cookie sleeves (highly technical term!), fully adjustable straps, 3 rows/3hooks, lined.
The briefs are fine; I'll wear 'em. They come up a little high on the waist for my taste and, while they don't crawl up, they also don't really cover my entire rear end. They seem to be scaled wider, instead of with increased booty room. For reference, I'm roughly a size 16.

    • Congratulations!! I adore Marine, too.

    • Great that it fits! :) On me this bra was such a disaster, despite the lovely colour. Maybe the other Gorsenia half cups would be worth a try? Also lots of immediate projection, open on top but no in-cup quadding :)

Sorry, hadn't scrolled to see that you actually tried the half cup and liked it :) Yay!

    Didn't fit

This was my first Gorsenia bra , and I am definitely going to get more. I am on the edge of K/KK cup and have a hard time finding ANY bra that i'm not spilling out of. I have narrow roots, and soft pendulous breast.

Based on the couple of reviews in the large cupsize saying Gorsenia runs large maybe even multiple size large in the cup, I ordered it to see if I may have luck, and I did!
I ordered 75M, which should be equivalent to 34J UK, but it fit mine 34K/KK boobs realy nicely. The band is stretchy, so it was not ... as firm as I would like to have, and already had to start with the middle hook.

Very nice stretchy lace bra, reminds me the Panache Jasmine, or Ewa Michalak BM bras, and I would say size very similar to75K in BM aqua, or even slightly more generous in the cup than that. The wire width also similar to EM bras , and they are on the narrow side, but not as narrow as a comexim bra. also the straps slightly narrower than my BM bras, which is a plus as I have narrow shoulders.

I lost some weight since I got it , and I am more like a 32 K/KK now, and this is getting too big for me and I just ordered another gorsenia in 70M this time and finger crossed

    • Interesting! For me, tho (32JJ) my Jasmine seems much more projected - both at the bottom and the apex - and seems to fit better than my BMs, slightly. I assume this is more rounded like the BM than projected like the Jasmine?

    • So happy for you!!!

    • Nice .. it looks more like a freya or curvy kate design with the three piece cup ..but I like how you said it has stretch lace like a Jasmine or bm Ewa michalak bra.

    • 1

Gorsenia K000-199 balconettes fit me SO much better than Freya balconettes. It is not completely clear to me why, but there is a remarkable difference.

    Hasn't set fit

Just in time for spring and summer, this might be my new most comfortable bra (we'll see how it performs when driving, moving around at work, etc). I'm really pleased with the fit - narrow wires, good immediate projection, low and narrow gore, wings not too low or too high (I think; this is my hardest fit aspect to figure out, seems like), plus a good rounded shape. This one was a complete gamble, as the model wasn't even added to Bratabase and I could only find one other review for it online. However, the price was right and I really wanted another grey bra, so I gave ... in.

The only other Gorsenia I've tried (the Soleil, really should write a review sometime but I'm still trying to figure out if I can alter it to fit better) was a bit too big and tall, so I sized down in this one. That seems to have worked for my short roots, though the bit of elastic tape on the inside edge of the lace might cut in on someone with more fullness up top than I have. The measurements do seem to suggest it runs big/deep in the cups, and the tag lists it as both 70 and 32 E accordingly and the vendor sold it as a 32E UK size. I'll probably stick with this size for now, as the 70F put the straps a bit too far into my armpits for my liking. I could use a tad more room at the gore, but that's typical for me and it's not painful so far.

The band seems true to size, perhaps a bit on the stretchy side, but right now with my winter weight gain it's comfortable. There's side boning, which I'll probably remove like I usually do, but I actually didn't notice when trying it on and taking pics.

Appearance wise, it's a really pretty bra. Most of it is a soft, silvery grey with a shimmer to the fabric. I had thought the lace was going to be grey and white, but there's actually some color to it - some of the flowers are a very pale green and yellow. The gore has a bow but also a blinged out charm with a pearl dangling from it. It all feels a bit fancier than I need, but I like the fit so much I can't complain. I do like that there's more of the embroidered lace where the straps meet the cups instead of more bows.

All in all, I'd like to try more Gorsenia if I can be sure of which models are going to have narrow wires, which are balcony or plunge bras instead of full cups like the Soleil, and if I can find more which appeal to me aesthetically.

Gosh I was sad this bra (and the Miriam and Audrey) didn't fit.... they are so so gorgeous, but the cups are just too wide. See my 65H review for the Miriam -there were some minor measurement variations, but the fit was the same. Note that the 65H Audrey fit slightly larger at the top (more open or taller perhaps?) than the other two cuts I tried.
    Edited for typos.

Grace by Gorsenia is beyond gorgeous. I have a thing for black bras so this one pulls at those heart strings! The lace overlay is completely smooth which I can appreciate for not showing in clothing. Due to the full cover cup I did have to size down 2 cup sizes to get a fit that felt supported for my FOB and pendulous shape. Like other Polish bras this does pull you forward with thin and more narrow wires but it is also very slightly rounded which I can appreciate for days when I don't want to be chest first. Gorgeous gorgeous bra!

I really wish this fit! It should but I am getting wrinkling on the top of the cup on my smaller side and the lace waves on both sides. The band on this is quite stretchy too. I can easily go to the second set of hooks already. I do love the quality of this bra though and I did get a good tack with the gore despite it being a higher gore. It was on sale at Brastop so I gave in and ordered the size down. Trying new brands can be so expensive but I have been curious about Gorsenia for awhile. ... The shaping is lifted and a little rounder than my other Polish bras. That may change when I get a size smaller as the cups are slightly too large. I suspect this bra may be better for full on top shapes but I will not know for sure until I get a better size that fits better. Added to the database for measurements - I am the first in this style and Gorsenia does not have that many measurements to look at yet.

Wow, thats a gorgeous bra. I really wonder if a smaller size will fit or if its just too FOT for you. I've had some where loose fabric on top didnt show through a shirt and actually seemed less of an issue after a washing

    • 1

Would this be a good fit for Omega shapes? I know the top is open, but I had great difficulty find space in the bottom and mid-cup....

    • dbmamaz I am wondering the same about the top lace too! I will know soon and I think a wash on a smaller size will make it fine too. I am enamored with that lace :)

    • 1

Love4Pollinators The model wearing the bra is full all over so I think it will fit a full all over shape well. Is that omega? I'm still learning my terms :)

This is one of three Gorsenias that I snagged from Jagna.pl they are having a sale on Gorsenia a.t.m. This one is the most exciting visually because it has some gold/silver bling! Which is a trend in the Polish lingerie this season. Interesting how the band is just slightly tighter b/c of the darker colour (comparing to beige). But very comfortable, these band feels perfect for 77/78 cm underbust, imo. Pretty : )

I got this bra from marilynne, thank you! I lost track of my UK size because I almost exclusively wear Polish now, but I guess I'm a 28FF. My shape is projected, full on top and centre, with tall and narrow roots, soft and self-supporting tissue, and super close-set.

Gorsenia uses EU band and cups, so the equivalent UK size of this bra would be a 30F. The band runs tight and fits snugly on the loosest hooks, although when I check in the mirror the back seemed to ride up a little bit. The cups are narrow and deep, made of sturdy mesh at the ... bottom of the cups with lace overlay and stretchy mesh at the top with an elastic edge. They seem to fit me volume-wise, but the wrinkles near the seam makes me think they might be a little too closed on top for my tall roots. They are negligible though. The gore is low but a little too wide for my super close-set breasts so I'm going to overlap the gore by hand. Hopefully it'll open up the cups a little too.

I LOVE the embroidery with shiny silver threads! It extends a little to the straps as well which brings a "finished" look. I love the color as well.

Overall I'm happy with the fit and appearance of this bra, even though it's not completely perfect.

I ordered the Forest balconette from Brastop in a 32J UK, but overlooked their note suggestong customers go down a cup size in this bra. This bra looks okay when I put it on, but wrinkles and gapes a bit if I move my arms in. The wire width is perfect for me though, and it is extremely comfortable. This bra is ideal for me around my period when I get a bit swollen. I love the color as well.

Fit: Fits like a tight 32GG or a looser 30H. Wires are a bit wider than average for that volume. The wire shape is U-shaped but not as dramatic as some. Shape is projected and rounded. A very good amount of room at the wire. As for center fullness/center projection, for me personally there wasn't enough room for my center fullness but I need quite a bit, but a lot of reviews praise this model exactly for that. Maybe it's just a bit too wide for me (I need very narrow wires) and the proportion is just wrong for me.

Constructon: Bottom section of the cup has two parts. ... One layer of strong non-stretch material. Very flat vertical seams! Top section is two layers of white or near-white tulle (can't really tell), top layer embroidered with golden beige, lighter yellowy beige and white for outlines. There is a strip of see-through plasticy material sewn at the top edge of the cups, on the inside. Center gore is also of the same material as the top section but reinforced with a seam in the middle - they have also chosen a heavily embroidered part. They've made an interesting choice with the band here - the elastic is cut at the gore and overlapped at an angle (see photo). Quite clever as it allows the gore start higher than a regular full band bra. Soft side boning, ends tucked under band elastic so they don't poke. Side wing is a single layer of stretch mesh. Three hooks, three rows. Straps are fully adjustable, moderately stretchy. Strap elastic seems pretty thick BUT seems to be prone to popping a thread when under strain. There's a bit of a wave thing going on (see photo). I only wore this bra once, maybe twice. Putting the elastic under strain doesn't seem to do anything now. Maybe it just loosened where it had to? No idea.

Appearance: It's a bra meant to be worn with white or slightly sheer-ish shirts and lighter Caucasian skin tones. It's slightly lighter than the average beige bra, and has a hint of yellowy peach. Beige bows where straps connect to cups. Center bow fell off the first time I wore it. Oops. Floral embroidery on mesh adds an element of interest to what would otherwise be just a beige bra. The embroidery is done in three different tones to create a gradient effect and contrast. It's not necessarily my thing but skin tone bras usually aren't my thing ever, so it's just my taste. For a skin tone bra it's lovely.

I think that this bra is stunning and sexy, but in a subdued way. I would say it would probably be a good bridal lingerie item. I love this bra, but it’s not quite the right fit for me.

This bra is a sheer ivory mesh cup with eyelash lace covering the lower 2/3 of the cup in the nipple area, and the eyelash bit coming up just over the nipples. The top and sides are sheer. The upper cup is lined with a strip of material that is stretchy. It’s not just the inside of the cup, but the whole edge of the cup.

The wires are ... pretty narrow, and the cups are relatively deep with projection at the wire. The band is a bit snug - I feel like the band is in between a 28 and 30, and these days I’m preferring closer to 30” than 29” even though I am a 28-28.5” under bust. The cups are a bit lower cut, or at least feel like it, and I will say that it feels like it’s a little bit closed on top due to the way that the cup edge is stretchy as well as the overall height.

I have tallish roots that are shallow, so I am functionally short rooted. In a way, this works well for me because the elastic closes in, but because my roots are taller, and I have soft tissue, it’s cutting right in. I’m not sure if it’s a size or a shape mismatch/issue. I appreciate the short cups, but it’s not working for me the right way. I feel like a smaller size and I’d have cutting in pretty horrendously, but I might have empty fabric by sizing up.

I have a matching bottom for the set, although it is too small for me to wear. The set is just beautiful.

    • It's hard to get that elastic on the cup just right so it encases the boob but doesn't cut in. My 65HH - Comexim » Safiya 3hc does this pretty bad too, but they got the 65HH - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554) just right with how much elastic is along the cup edge. Sorry it didn't work for you.

    Fits

After my fit issues with the 65G - Kinga » Yvette Semi Padded (BC-463) that I mentioned in my review, I was graciously sent this bra from AGBras, since she’s a very close size to me (but different shape) and has become quite familiar with Polish brands outside of Ewa Michalak and Comexim. You could say it was sent for Bra Science. Knowing how it fits her vs me allows her some valuable information that she can then pass to me on other brands, sizes, and shapes/styles. She sent another bra to test with this one, and another Gorsenia in a different style ... (but it’s not here yet).

So this bra is a pretty basic black bra. Buuut, I’m ok with that. I’m quite happy with black because my work uniform is black or mostly black (I have blue scrubs tops for my pharmacy shifts, but I still tend to wear a thin black tee underneath). So I’m really into dark bras with my work uniform as I’m too nervous about colour transfer to a lighter bra (which is probably not a legit concern but whatever). I do gravitate to my black bras most. She said that this was a workhorse kind of black bra, and I can understand why. While it’s a little bit decorated on top, the bulk of the cups are a thicker, smooth satin like material. The decoration on top isn’t quite lace...I’m not sure exactly what it is called...it’s not exactly lace but not embroidered either. In any case, it’s not overly frilly, but is pretty simple yet classy.

The fit of the band is a little bit snug. I was aware of it frequently yesterday. I would not say that it is painful, though it’s a little bit, as I have pressure on my sternum. Today I tried with an extender (hooked onto the tightest bra hooks and hooked on the loosest hooks of the extender). I would say that I almost feel like it wanted to shift up. I don’t think that it did, but it was noticeably looser. More comfortable though. Still kinda aware of it throughout the day. I think I might prefer it with no extender except for when I’m relaxing on my couch. I think part of this fit aspect is related to the center gore...it’s a bit wide at the bottom. Although I’m splayed, unsupported, I do prefer something narrower. The cups fit pretty well, but I feel like I am on the edge of them being too small. There’s also something about the cup fit, as viewed from the side, that’s not quite right. Perhaps upside down 7 shape from being too small? That being said, I would have to agree that the cups are pretty narrow with plenty of immediate depth. Yay! The do have built in side support pads which I think aren’t necessarily important for me. I’m already center full...no need to bring my boobs closer together. The cups do have a strip of silicone along the cup edge, but as it’s not stretchy or restrictive, it’s perfectly fine with my soft, pendulous tissue.

All in all, it’s a nice simple bra with a little classic style. Nothing amazing about it. It’s a more natural look, but still pretty good. I can see how it could be a workhorse bra for someone. It’s not quite the right one for me, but it’s not bad. I prefer the fit and comfort of the other black bra she sent over this, but I don’t officially own it yet...it was sent with this bra as a try and buy, so I am working out the buy details now. So for now I’ll hold off naming it or discussing it much until I officially own it. I’m also still waiting for m 30FF Curvy Kate Lifestyle bra in black to arrive (was sent out July 12th from England so hopefully it will be here soon) and it’s also a bit basic but also sophisticated.

Will I keep it or pass it on? I’m not sure, but if I pass this or the other one she’s sending me on, it’s already decided on who top offer it to. It’s definitely good to try this. I’m looking forward to trying the other one.

Nice review! I find it fascinating to see how the same bra works differently for 2 people of the same size. Super helpful for future purchasers

    • 2

veggiechic I LOVE seeing how they fit different people!

Like Calluna said, once I see how certain bras fit, I can more easily predict how others will fit them.

Nora is a rogue bra for Gorsenia, but I know exactly how it differs from all my others, and how those differences affect fit for me, so I wanted to see it on Calluna who is full on the bottom like me (same measurements at apex of breast) but more shallow on top with softer tissue.

How is this bra different from all my other Gorsenia soft cups?

Has lightly padded side slings (no other soft Gorsenia that I own -and I have about 20-has this. In fact, no other bra that I own of any brand has padded side slings!)

Gore tilts in a bit (this is what is causing you discomfort, Calluna. I have an EM half lace BM that did that - I bent the gore out and now it's perfect)

Gore is a tiny bit splayed at the bottom.

Cups are wider on this bra. Calluna wait until I send you one with the usual width wires...THEN you'll see narrow wires with projected cups! I bow at the feet of Gorsenia wires. I am certain Happy2BraShop would support me on this!

Cups are a little shorter and more closed at the top. They tilt in a bit.It also has no lace/embroidered mesh panel at the top - just a piece of black applique (its called applique, Calluna - like is sewn onto wedding dresses ;)

Black colourway, so it's a little "stiffer". Does that make sense? I have 3 black Gorsenias and while they technically fit (barely), they are definitely a little smaller and the fabric is stiffer. They make me size up. They feel tight and stiff when new but become much better after washing. That being said, for black knit/satin, I prefer Krisline and Kinga. Krisline has the SOFTEST most stretchiest (3-way, btw. Great even tension) and comfy knits for panties, bands, etc.

@Calluna PLEASE review the Sekret. I really don't mind if people know that I sent it to you to try. Every review and photos help others.

    • 1

Oh, oh, oh - I think I know why the shape from the side isn't "optimal". The wires on this bra are a little more open, more swoosh shaped, on the outside edge. Its not pushing the tissue on the outer upper quadrant of your breast completely forward.

    • veggiechic it is, isn’t it? I’m super glad that I got the chance to try it. It’s definitely helpful to see how the bra fits on different shapes within the same size range.

AGBras sooo much good feedback! I was really surprised that they padded the side slings. I would completely agree with you that it’s a bit more closed off on top. And yes, appliqué! That’s it! I will see if I can do something about the gore tilt. I’ve never bent wires before. Regarding the shape, I don’t have a lot of outer fullness to really bring in, but I think it’s possible that I don’t have quite enough side coverage which could mean that it is a little bit too small (side boob) which reinforces why it feels a bit snug despite the 29” stretched measurement and the shape (almost upside down 7). I’m going to try it again later to see what the side coverage is like because it’s possible that it just looks a bit small from the side due to the angle of the pictures and holding the phone. I really appreciate your kindness for sending me the bras. And yes, I will absolutely review Sekret once you transfer it to me. I did not want to add from the page since it was your bra and I want to keep the bra chain going properly.

    • Calluna you aren't imaging things. Because the wires "swoosh" on the outside, they dont come up as high.

Very helpful review, and good extra information from AGbras. Good luck with your next bras from AGBras.

    • Thanks!

Great review! The black satiny fabric looks nice and super expensive. That's so awesome that you and AGBras have the same size but different shapes! Great to see all the differences in fit. 🙂

    • Thanks braluv !

This bra is definitely one of my top 10 faves...for fit, style, comfort, colour, everything.

Simena is listed as "grey", but it is not grey. It is a dusty purple. It reminds me of Concord grapes with that white/grey film on them. It's very different and very pretty.

The lace is soft and stretchy and has a nice floral motif. The 3-part classic balcony cups have colour-matched mesh lining on the 2 bottom sections while the upper section is left unlined.

There is a clear stretch plastic stability strip trimming the top edge of the cup. I just barely fit into this size, so it creates a slightly shirred effect ... which I love. I get no cutting in/quad boob from these strips, even in the smaller size.

I usually wear 65G in Gorsenia softcups, but had to size up to 65H in the 3 full lace softcups that I own.

Because it is a 65H, the straps are wider. They are also a little wider set than those on a 65G but not enough to bother me or slip off my shoulders.

Apart from a small, simple color-matched satin bows on the straps and gore, Simena has no decoration. This allows for the unique colour to shine. And from the photos you can see that the lace does have sheen. It catches the light and appears to be more violet in some lighting.

The band is TTS and is made from colour-matched opaque power mesh. There are 3 rows of 2 hooks and eyes.

The matching hipster panties are made from colour-matched matte microfiber and have a lot of the lace on them and have a Brazilian look. They are very comfortable and sizing is consistent with what I have come to expect from Gorsenia S.

Again, I have to thank MagdaBras4you for getting me this set 🙏💗

I love this color. So ladylike but also soft and calm. I'm happy it worked for you!

That colour looks great on you. It looks like a cool grey to me, but I can see that it does look purplish also. 😎

Sovavosi it is greyed, but indeed very purple. I asked my kids, "what colour is this?" They both answered purple ;)
I remember my mother's living room once had carpet of this same colour...it was called "woodland violet"...it's lovely no matter what we call it 😍🍇🍆

    • I have a set of towels like this. It's grey, purple, or brown depending on the temperature of the light hitting it. My husband likes to call them "the dress" set of towels.

    • I love the color. 😍 This style looks great on you. It gives you a more projected look.

    • This is a gorgeous color and great fit!

Daisy Dream fits exactly how I have come to expect Gorsenia softcups to fit me - PERFECTLY!!!

Narrow wires, deep cups and a TTS band.

One of the things that I love about Gorsenia bras is that they are perfect for my small frame: the straps are perfectly placed and not too wide, the wings are boned and just the right height, the cups are narrow, deep, projected and cover on the sides without eating my armpits and the band is firm and supportive even with only 2 hooks.

Daisy Dream is a soft pink bra with silver accents in the embroidery. The pink is sophisticated - it has a ... grey tinge to it.

The bottom of the cups and the cradle are pink satin knitwear. The sides of the band are power mesh. The top panel of the cup is pink and silver embroidery. The straps have small satin bows and the gore has a satin bow with a candy pink crystal decoration.

The panties to this bra are classic cut briefs - a style that I would never wear before I started buying Gorsenia. They are so pretty. Always super pretty, with a great fit and so they never look like granny panties. These are stretch satin knitwear with a large panel of embroidery at the front that matches the top panel on the bra.

Gorsenia soft cups give me everything that I like about Ewa Michalak half lace BMs at a much lower price point and in a greater variety of styles and colours!! In fact, they are the power horses in my bra drawer...perfect for everyday wear.

Thank you to MagdaBras4you for helping me to get this set https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
