This bra is so pretty. I really like the navy blue with the hot pink. The lace along the top does show a bit in thinner fabric/tighter shirts though.
I like the construction of the cups, it is very similar to a Comexim 3HC bra with a three-piece half-cup constructed with three pieces with vertical seams. It has a nice rounded shape which fits my breast shape really well and looks good under clothes. It is a little shallow for me and I quad out the top a bit. Also, the gore floats off my sternum by about 1cm. This doesn't effect the comfort, but does show the cups are a bit too small for me.
I find this bra super comfy for wearing all day at work.
I love a padded bra! They look good on and add a bit more support and comfort and look great under clothes. I am really happy with the design and colours of this bra. It's really summery and pretty. This is a great all-round for comfort, shape, fit and looks. The straps are adjustable all the way and very comfortable.
The rounded, half-cup, mild cakes on a plate shape is practically perfect in every way for my FoT breasts & narrow ribcage. The only other Freya bras that fit my very FoT shape are the Patsy padded half cup and Parade "padded" half cup bra.
Band and straps are comfortable, though straps are a bit wide-set for my narrow shoulders. Most straps are. Wing height is surprisingly low, so no chafing under the arm.
Cons:
This fabric is tricky - it initially seemed rigid enough to contain me, but after a few hours of wear, I was not only quadding but actually nip-slipping on my bigger side. ...I've read a couple of other reviewers who had the same experience. Be ye not deceived, if you're not solidly contained in the cup, SEND IT BACK!
Unfortunately, as with all Freya half cup bras, I would need this in a 28J/JJ and this bra only goes up to a 30H. My ribcage is exactly 28" and while I make do with Freya 30's, the bands stretch quickly, putting more weight on the straps and hiking the back of the band, which of course means my boobs lose their support and start sliding down my torso and onto my stomach and waist. Thank goodness for Tums!

I love this bra so much. I've had mine for years and now it's all soft and especially good for sleeping in or watching Netflix with my cat. Still after all of this time the pink design has hardly faded and it has kept its shape and most of the support. I will be getting another one of these definitely. Such a good every day bra, comfortable, pretty, durable, doesn't leave marks on my body, five stars from me. The matching briefs are nice too but I'm not a fan of the mesh on skin look. I wish Freya paid more attention to the design of their briefs, butts need support/love too.
This is my least favourite bra. The metal bits on the straps dig into my arms and left a mark and made me so grumpy, it was absolute torture day and I couldn't wait to get it off. I had to put a band aid over it at work. Whose stupid idea was putting a sharp metal object there? Rampant stupidity. The bra is a tight fit and the underwire dug in and hurt, and left a red mark. I bought it in my size in black and white. Both went directly in the bin, I wouldn't even want to give it away to someone else because I don't hate anyone that much. If I must say something nice about it I would say it looks good and has okay support. But really that's just a compliment for my own boobs.
Because people are different shapes, sometimes your torture device is someone else's perfect bra. I could not wear Panache Envy, but other people loved it
also, while reviews are helpful, on this site we are BIG on measurements! If you could measure some of your bras, that would be even more helpful to people
Thanks for your reply! Yes I guess my review was pretty harsh but I was just so annoyed with how uncomfortable this bra was and my frustration shows in my review. In general though I'd say with bra design that sharp objects uncovered anywhere in the bra is poor design.
Oh, we all get mad at bras that dont fit like we want them to! I was SO frustrated with that Envy. Now i'm just annoyed that i keep outgrowing bras.
I'll start with the basics: the straps are wide and fully-adjustable, there are three hook-and-eyes, supportive band, wide wings. I like all those points about the bra, the problems that I have are with the material and the cups. The cups are wide and have major gaping, the wires go out too far under my arms but they do not poke or feel uncomfortable. The material is soft and does happen to give me a more rounder figure, but I prefer to have a va-voom! sort of style. The cups separate my breasts more and doesn't look good under many tops. While my fiance had nothing negative to say about it, I don't feel very womanly in this bra.

Well, the cups do come up high as it's a full closure bra, but it also might be a sizing issue. The style of this bra is similar to the Carys I have and I think my problem is that I have bottom heavy breasts so my breasts go more downward and leave extra room at the top of the cup.
I love this bra! It fits great, barely stretched! It is super feminine and I love the sheer fabric. The snug band and straps keep my boobs lifted and supported all day. The bows on the straps and center gore are cute too! One of my fave bras!
I got this bra online from Nordstrom's sale. Though it doesn't sit flat against my sternum, it almost does. The lacey top part is forgiving of my "soft" on top boobs. It seems even stretchier than other Freyas, and it does stretch out further than another I have, but maybe I pulled harder. I wore it all day two days ago, and have it on again today. I naturally put it on the second set of hooks when I put it on today, and remember that I thought it might do better snugger when I wore it two days ago.
It is very comfortable, and attractive in an everyday bra sort of way. Perhaps not the best t-shirt bra as there is an obvious difference between the satin lower area and the lace top, though the lace isn't heavily textured so you don't get the lace through the t-shirt effect.
This bra is really comfortable. I could definitely have gone down a band size, but the 30 is still supportive enough. My one peeve is that the cups wrinkle a little at the bottom- I'm not sure why, since my breasts are definitely filling it. However, the wrinkling isn't really visible (especially under a shirt) so it's not a problem.
The design is really cute, but the black dots and seams do show through sheer clothing; it doesn't make the perfect T-shirt bra, but if you're wearing dark colors or opaque clothes, it's fine.
As for shape: it looks great on, though it might be a little pointy and spread the breasts a little farther apart than some people like. However, those things work really well for me.
I really liked my Freya bras in the past so I thought I would try them again in my correct size now. Against my better judgement knowing that they run big I got a 30H, which is the sister size of my calculator size (28HH). This bra is very very slightly too big in the cup. It is definitely far too wide in the cup, and only a teensy, almost unnoticeable amount too projected (or maybe just projected at a point that mismatches slightly with the peak of projection on my own breasts). I love the crisp, white look of the bra though. ...I think the exterior fabric is a bit rough, but the interior isn't scratchy or irritating to my sensitive skin. This is one of the only bras I've found with the 3-piece construction where the top strip isn't too tight on the top of my breasts and flattens them down. The gore is a little high for me, but not as stabby as my Cleo Maya, however, it's so wide on my close-set breasts that it folds over on top of itsself, so the wires overlap. Read more 90 more words
So pretty! The print is a floral explosion of vivid pinks & purples on a bright blue background. The pink lace edging on the cups is sooo cute,, and I adore that the they continue the print on the straps! Alrighty, time to be serious and break down the fit: this is a very lightly lined halfcup with great support through the band and perfectly-shaped (for me!) rounded cups. ...The straps dig a bit and are a bit scratchy w the lace (ETA softened nicely after washing. no discomfort now) - though in all fairness this is prob because this bra is ALSO a solid 1.5-2 cups too small and the band is a normal Freya 30, so it keeps hiking up and is prob more suited to a 32 but felt well-constructed. Boo!!!

Oh that's understandable CAGirlGoingPolish , it can be really frustrating if all bras are too small. Thanks for uploading pics anyway :) What kind of bras are you looking for in larger sizes? Are Panache and Curvy Kate too wide? I heard recent C'Kates tend to be a bit deeper and narrower. Freya unpadded are probably too closed on top for you.
Also, I recently tried my first Ewa Michalak and would surely recommend them!
Can you say to me the cup depth and the stretched band? I believe that I will ask for one of these but, don't know if it's convenient for me 30 band or 32 band and it frustrates to me that you say it about the small cups because I am trying to find my cup and am lost :(
I own this in neon yellow/green, and it's the most obnoxiously awesome color. The band is slightly large, but that works well for me. The cups have good depth, but the wires are too wide for me. This causes my breasts to look wide from the front, but not an unbearable amount. The top of the gore jabs me in the sternum, which is caused by too tall gore. If you're looking for a sheer unlined bra, this one is a cute one.
So this is my second attempt at buying a Freya bra after only buying Curvy Kate for a few years. The first one was a 30HH plunge, but I know now that it was definitely a mistake to go by my usual CK size. I went one cup size down when I got this one, but it appears to still be slightly too big for me, My biggest problem is actually the height of the cup and centre gore. I usually expect a plunge bra to sit quite low on my sternum, which is good for me, as I have close-set breasts. This one, however, sits really high. The ...gore is even higher than on all of my other bras, most of which are balconnets. The cup height means that while my breasts fill the bottom of he cup, there appears to be a lot of loose fabric above them. I found that the band fit best with the middle row of hooks clasped and it does stretch further than I expected for a 30 band, so I'd say it runs a bit large in that regard as well. I purchased this bra on sale. It is not my most favorite but I don not hate it. I could probably go one cup size up, so the cups do not indent so much on top. The gore is close to laying flat.
Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, very soft tissue, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG
So, the 30GG gave me a lot of in-cup quading and the wires were clearly too wide and not immediately projected enough. But, I decided to get a used H and try some alterations.
The straps are a touch too wide and the wires are narrow, but not quite narrow enough. Immediate projection is actually not ...bad, but not enough. Plenty of room for my centre fullness. Extra space is at the top and strap for more FoT or tall root shapes. It actually fits not badly and I could wear it as is.
Three hooks, wonderfully wide straps that are scalloped and ribbed and fully adjustable and Extremely long! I am usually almost to the longest extent, but I still have almost half the length! Cups are poly knit - no stretch - with no-stretch lace on the top. Back band is made of matching stretch material. Good side boning, wires u-shaped and medium firmness, and centre gore is wide - wire channels are a full cm each so narrowing can only do so much.
Wires and strap set are wider than the Rio but it has more immediate projection. Read more 141 more words
A comfortable bra with a nice firm band. Not a huge amount of support in the top but it's a comfortable bra that looks very pretty. The straps are nice and wide (yay) but my main complaint is that I cannot tighten them all the way without adjusting them with a tailor because I have small-ish shoulders - so the bra straps are too long.
