Didn't fit

So pretty! The print is a floral explosion of vivid pinks & purples on a bright blue background. The pink lace edging on the cups is sooo cute,, and I adore that the they continue the print on the straps! I feel like I'm ready to dance at Carnavale in Rio!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Can you tell it's been YEARS since I've worn anything but blacks & nudes?? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> lol

Alrighty, time to be serious and break down the fit: this is a very lightly lined halfcup with great support through the band and perfectly-shaped (for me!) rounded cups. The straps dig a bit and are a bit scratchy w the lace (ETA softened nicely after washing. no discomfort now) - though in all fairness this is prob because this bra is ALSO a solid 1.5-2 cups too small and the band is a normal Freya 30, so it keeps hiking up and is prob more suited to a 32 but felt well-constructed. Boo!!!

Under clothing the vertical seams are pretty obvious, which is a downer. You either get over it or only wear it under layers or sweaters. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Too small for me - why you no make this in HH & up cups and SMALLER bands?!?!

Still love it and will hold onto it until I find a well-fitted bra.

EDIT: I wore this today and noticed that the straps, while still wider than suits me, are closer set than my 30H - Freya » Marvel Side Panel Bra (1501) w unlined half up and the cups are less tall on the sides on the 30H - Freya » Parade Multi Padded Half Cup Bra (1793) as well. See pic

  • Really like the look of this bra (at least from the promo pics)! Curious how it looks irl :)

Stopping at H is better than G, but why Oh why can't they just do some serious upgrade to J, K or whatever..

Love some of Freya's designs but they always seem so slow to evolve / improve themselves :(

  • bubblegum True confession: I didn't post pics because I was starting to feel self-conscious. ALL my bra review pics are of me basically falling out of the cups of whatever bra I've been reviewing. Ick.

However, after I read your (very gentle) comment, I realized that in the short time I've been on BTB, I've benefitted equally from pics of both well-fitted AND poorly-fitted bras on women with measurements and boob issues similar to my own. So I'm uploading some pics of it on and off my body. Hope this helps!

  • Oh that's understandable CAGirlGoingPolish , it can be really frustrating if all bras are too small. Thanks for uploading pics anyway :)
What kind of bras are you looking for in larger sizes? Are Panache and Curvy Kate too wide? I heard recent C'Kates tend to be a bit deeper and narrower. Freya unpadded are probably too closed on top for you.

Also, I recently tried my first Ewa Michalak and would surely recommend them!

  • Can you say to me the cup depth and the stretched band? I believe that I will ask for one of these but, don't know if it's convenient for me 30 band or 32 band and it frustrates to me that you say it about the small cups because I am trying to find my cup and am lost :(
