This bra is well made but is just not right for my shape. It's too tall for me in the cup and the wires. If you have tall roots or are very fot or projected then this bra may work for you!
This bra is beautiful. I love the stripe fabric and the vibrant pink. The band is VERY firm. Sadly this is a shape mismatch for me. The cups are too shallow at the bottom, too wide at the sides and my FOT breasts spill out of the top. I tried a larger cups size, but it was equally disastrous. This one is just not for me.
The fit is very nice at first glance, but I get quadding when I move my arms around or straighten my shoulders. My breasts also threaten to fall out when I bend over.
The bra is made of two layers of soft lace. It's very comfortable to wear. I really like the width of the strap where it attaches to the cups - I feel it gives me a lot of side support. The cups have a single vertical seam running down the middle. I was pleased to see that the seam lays pretty flat and won't show under most tops. It's hard to describe the shape I get wearing this. It's rounded and yet slightly pointy. I think the cups are maybe a touch too shallow for me as well.
I don't even know why I bothered to try this bra. I guess it just looks too good. Although the top seam is stretch lace, there is an elastic near the edge so the cups still cut into my tall roots. The band is a little stretchy and is too loose. There is only one hook so it doesn't make me feel too secure. This bra is projected like other Freya plunge balconies, but it's more like a balcony than a real plunge. The gore is quite high. The cups are also too tall.
I've always loved the aesthetics of this bra. Some Freya padded half cups fit me better than others. Fifi actually has quite narrow wires and deep cups for this size. Alas, good enough only for my smaller side. Gives a nice rounded shape.
The bottom of the cup does collapse a bit when I wear it, too shallow, but other wirefree bras I've tried are much worse. It's not noticable under clothes so I wear it anyway.
The band may feel comfy at first, but it tends to dig in as the day goes on. It can hurt as much as a my regular Deco! I would not recommend sizing down in the band. These aren't huge Freya bands, and my experience is that even if the band stretches a bit larger, they still end up digging in painfully. I had a well worn 28E that never quite stretched enough to be comfortable on me.
This bra would be best for me in 30E, but most of the digging in is alleviated with an extender.
This bra is comfortable and well-made but even when it fit I was 'meh' about it. It makes me kind of pointy, it peeks out of clothes easily because there's so much fabric/straps, and it's a little on the scratchy side. But very sturdy and supportive, I'd say. If you're a true 30 the 28 won't work for you, but if you're in between 28 and 30 you can try the 28. In my fuller days I could fill out the cups fine, even some quadding, but as I lost a little weight the top of the cup (near the armpit) was hard to fill and I got some wrinkling. Won't be looking for this bra in my new size.
The Deco Strapless is way wider than the regular Deco, which is a disappointment. The band was so tight that after a few hours of wear I started to feel like the wires were bruising my ribs. But most strapless bras are wide, and I like how comfortable this one is at the gore (doesn't stab my very close set, centre full breasts), so I'm keeping it (at least for now, before I find a better one).
This bra seems reasonably projected, and slightly closed on top. It gives a good shape, similar to the "cakes on a plate". I think I need a cup size up.
This bra has a nice lace material for the cups. I actually really like it and my husband thinks it is sexy! I like that the cups just adjusts to your breast shape. My breasts are projected and this is the one bra I own that seems to accomodate that shape. I usually get breast tissue escaping out the outer sides of my bras but this is the one rare bra where I don't get that!
My breasts are also full on bottom with tall roots that gently slope down. There are some wrinkles on the outer top part which I have ...also seen in other pics for this bra but it doesn't bither me nor show under clothes. The shape is very natural. If you have nice round breasts, it may be a really nice option. I prefer a push up or moulded bra to give some extra roundness and shape to my breasts, so I feel a bit shy to wear this under a tight fitting top. At first I found the apex of my breasts a bit too low, but I adjusted the straps tighter and the apex is good now. (I think the cup is too small for me, hence when I tighten the straps, it feels like the bra is floating off my chest. Or if I loosen the straps and the cups fit, the apex is too low. I admit that I bought the wrong size, but it was a good deal.) It would be nice if the size range went above 28F as I can't buy the next size up.
The gore is super high for my close set breasts. I can't wear this bra all day because of the high gore. However, considering I have close set breasts, it is amazing that I can wear it for as long as I can. Overall, this is a lovely bra. It is lightweight and dries quickly after it is washed. If you can wear a high gore, you like a natural shape and you want something projected, this is a great bra to try! Read more 262 more words
I liled the 50s style of this bra so much but sadly the shape does not fit my separate boobs. Nevertheless its quite comfy and reminds me of Freyas Secret Garden & Totally Tartan.
Comfy! There is no annoying gore digging and many space for FOT boobs (or boobs that vary in size from hour to hour because of breastfeeding). I love the color plus the fabric is soft and dries quickly after washing. Its my favourite bra because of that.
