Ive given another go at the Idol. This time I went up a band and down a cup (actually 2 cups). Now it seems to be well fitting. What can I say about it- the cup sizing goes biiiiiig. And thats a good thing for those who r big-boobed. 36H was parachute , 38G fits well in my opinion. I do have some hopes.. , well - tag removed, I'm keeping it. Wish me comfortableness https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
This bra is cute but it is not my shape at all. The wires are really, really wide even for me and it's very shallow. The gore and the cups come up way too high. The only good thing about this bra is that it covered my center fullness but at the same time it gaped on the outer part because it's such a tall bra.
Feels oddly stiff and giving me great discomfort under armpits, it's like the cups are reaching too high, or simply I'm too fat... my fat armpits are giving me pain. My boobs r filling the cups only when I straighten my back, when I become relaxed ( hunched) there's a slight gap. Maybe due to total sagginess and empty on top boobs.I may have to size down one more cup, idk, but I think I should look for a different bra. This one was not made for me.
I don’t fill out the top of the cups at all, and the straps slide off. The gore is high and digs in painfully. And, though not a fit issue, the back where the hooks are sewn is so scratchy I can barely stand it. My boobs sit nicely in the bottoms of the cups, but it doesn’t really feel like the bra is doing anything support-wise. Since trying this bra, I think I've figured out that my breasts are projected and short rooted, and this bra's cups are much too full on the top for me.
This is the second time I’ve bought this bra. The first time was before I discovered Bratabase. It was much too big for me so I ended up returning it. I kept thinking about it though - it really was a great bra. I’ve been converted to cut&sew bras, but I have a few tops that just don’t work with seamed bras. I need a moulded bra to make them work.
A year and many, many bras later, I decided to try it again - this time in the right size.
The fit is pretty much perfect! It’s rather projected and accommodates my FOB breasts. There’s a tiny bit of ...gaping at the top of the cups, but not enough to bother me. The cups are rather closed, but they don’t quad or cut in anywhere. The moulded cups hold their shape nicely without being overly padded. The gore is nice and high and I feel completely supported.
The cups give a nicely rounded and lifted shape. The cups sit a little more east-west than I’d prefer, but it’s not bad. I think I’m just spoiled from Comexim’s narrowness.
The bra is definitely full coverage. The cups are tall and could easily peak out through low-cut tops. I’m not crazy about the pinstripe design, but it’s subtle and disappears under thin tops.
Overall this is a comfortable and easy-to-wear bra that will work with most of my clothes. Definitely a wardrobe staple!
I haven't had this bra long, but it's a bra that's like my favorite pairs of shoes: immediately comfortable. Comfortable for the entire duration of use, from early morning to late at night. No break in needed! It gives me a nice, round up-front shape; smooth under all shirts. The underwires are quite wide, perfect for my shape but not great if you're narrow-rooted and/or FOT. I do have an extender on the band and maybe could wear a 32H, but the cup here is a perfect fit and the 30 band feels otherwise perfectly placed to take the weight of my FOB, slightly pendulous breasts (center full-ish). The gore tacks and causes no pain. The cups contain all my tissue and side boob. The band stays put. I bought two more colors after one day of wearing because I've been searching for my right size for months. Not a 'sexy' bra but it's very sexy to have a comfortable, fitting, supportive bra so...
This bra is more shallow than the Deco in the same size. The shape it gives is also a little more pointy than the Deco. The striped fabric looks very nice and it makes an otherwise plain beige bra look more interesting. The foam it's made from is quite thin and light. The measurement for the wire length is a little smaller than the length of the wire channel, which is 2.5cm longer than the wire. I've seen this with multiple Freya bras, and it always looks a little strange when worn, as under the arm the wire ends but there's still bra left.
I had been waiting for this bra to come out this season and was happy to find that the "spacer foam" was nothing like others I had tried (e.g. the Fantasie Rebecca that fits me well but leaves my pendulous boobs without support). The material is actually soft and nice and gives somewhat more decent shape/support despite no seams. But the cup was way too big in my usual size, 30G. The band was also a tad big and I had to start on the second hook. I recommend sizing down in the cup, particularly if you are more even or FOT. I think the style might better ...suit FOBs. I tried a 30FF, which was a better fit in general, but I still had a full hand worth of empty space where the strap meets the top of the cup. I'm high-set and petite torsoed, so it was far too tall in the armpits (not so much the wire alone, but all the excess material up there). It's supposed to be a balconette (?), but it has more cup coverage at the sides and lower at the gore, more like a t-shirt bra. Another big problem is that the gore is wayyy too wide. Probably the widest gore on any bra I've ever tried. Finally, the straps are a smooth, satiny material, which feels nice, but means that they slide looser very easily. When I adjusted the strap length and then put them over my shoulders, they slid out again and I had to re-tightened while on. Read more 151 more words
This is a lot of bra. I ordered my usual base size of 34H and I fill the cups pretty good but I think I could try a 34GG. However the gore doesn't quite tack. I'm close set so this could be part of the issue. The wires are 13 inches but the wire channel is 14 inches. This puts more fabric closer to my armpit. Its not uncomfortable but I can see it getting hot. The padding is stiffer than Fantasie Rebecca but not as stiff as Deco. It makes me look a little too wide from the front for my liking. The shape is similar ...to Fantasies 4520 just a little less east westy and a little less pointy. Straps are 1 inch thick. The band feels very comfortable and true to size according to the measurements. Dont know how it streches over time. The bra is a little wide but has deep cups. I'm going to try the 34GG for the sake of bratabase but I don't have high hopes. If it still looks too wide from the front it's definitely not a keeper. At least I have my CK Temptress and Arizona (and soon Daily Dream) which is a far more successful padded bra on me. Read more 104 more words
This was my go-to bra for years, but gravity hasn't been kind and the shape isn't great on me anymore. I can't fill the bottom of the cups, but the rest of the fit is ok. Slight quad-boob action but would probably go away with one cup size up. I do wear this on the tightest hook.
