This was my first properly fitting bra, and sadly, I quickly outgrew it. The cups run small, presumably because of the built-in push-up pads. The band runs firmer than the deco plunges, and was a great fit.
The push-up half cups gave me a very nice cleavage, and the padding made my breasts look larger, which is a positive thing for me! This is a fantastic bra for smaller-breasted women with shallow, wide boobs. I really wish they still made this style, and that they went at least up to FF or G cups. For a t-shirt bra, it's absolutely adorable as well.
I'm a bit disappointed with this. I tried the 28GG and that was way too big. The 28FF was also big and now this, the 28F is too small. I think I'm going to try the half cup version.
This is my new favourite strapless bra EVER! The band is a bit tight, though I fully expected that when I ordered it, but I also decided then that I would just wear it with an extender thus increasing it's lifespan! I have yet to buy an extender, but I have tried on the bra itself and worn it around the house, and save for the tight TIGHT band (which to be honest is a very good thing in a strapless!) I have nothing bad to say at all!
The cups are flush against my skin at the top, the underwires encase all of my breast tissue, don't poke into ...my underarm and the central gore is perfectly flush too! And I LOVE the round shape it gives me!!
This bra came with straps, and there's a very good chance I will wear it as a normal bra as well once I get the expander because it's just so gorgeous and comfortable!
I would recommend this bra to anyone looking for a snug, seamless strapless bra, because I know at least for me, my search for one has ended! Thank you Freya! Read more 80 more words
Breast type: shallow, 2/5 shape, conical, wide set (2-3 finger gap between boobs).
I adore this bra. It's comfortable, cute, and the first time I put it on I had to double check I wasn't wearing a push-up! Definitely has a lot of nice, natural uplift, and looks great under tshirts.
The band is actually less stretchy than you'd expect from Freya. It still has a bit of give, but as I'm still getting used to proper fitting bands I prefer it. Fits more like a true 28 than other Decos.
There's no poking, and the moulding provides a lovely rounded shape. The gore tacks and is comfortable. The bra is a more closed off at the top, and that helped reduced the usually major gaping I have with my smaller, right breast. It's still there, but manageable. If you have gaping issues with other Freyas, this may work for you.
The bra is so cute design-wise, and makes my conical, somewhat shallow breasts look incredibly rounded and nice. I had no issues with the band riding up either. It is quite a bit stretchier than expected, as is common with Freya bands, but not by much.
Because of that, bra ...shifted through the day and the underwire ended up sitting nearly a finger's width below my direct underbust. Consequently, the gore ended up digging into my sternum rather painfully - I kept tugging it away from my body on and off just to give my chest a break from the pain. Once the straps were tightened (I placed the bra exactly where it needed to be, underwire wise, had my SO hook it in, and *then* tightened straps as needed), everything stayed perfectly in place through the day. Beware, the underwires still do dig into to your sternum - just not as uncomfortably.
The wires also are quite wide, they extend past where my breast tissue starts under my arm. However, there's been no problems with them poking into me and thus I'm not bothered by it. The straps are wider-set as well.
Apart from the issues with the center underwire, the rest of the bra is very comfortable and a good fit. There's very slight gaping on my right, smaller breast, but it's negligible. I love the look of my cleavage in this bra. It's surprisingly supportive without the wires. The band is also snugger than the Freya Deco Honey (1254) and probably the Freya Deco (4234) so it is spot on for me. However, this sort of disappoints as the seams in the band dig in and chafe after a few hours, and the whole point of not having wires in my bra is for added comfort, and this doesn't deliver. In fact, the Deco Honey is way more comfortable. It's not really a bra I would spend long hours in.
After trying this bra out of curiosity, I just HAD to get it afterwards. This bra gives a very nice, rounded shape, and the cups are moulded and give a nice cleavage without squishing my boobs too close together, or giving me quadboob. The 28F size fits me quite well, but I would have preferred a 26FF, if Freya ever decided to produce that size. The band is nice and firm, and the straps are a comfortable width. Just a heads up though, this bra is definitely magenta, and slightly less purple than the picture suggests.
I love this bra. The material feels flimsy because I'm used to more substantial padded cups, but I don't really worry about nipping. The wide band is super comfortable. I get amazing uplift and support even though the band feels very loose compared to my other 28 bands. My only fitting complaint is that the wires are super wide on me, but it's not a dealbreaker. It's also really shallow for a Freya. I normally fit the 28E, but I got it in this size so I would have something comfortable and pretty that doesn't quad for that part of the month when I'm otherwise miserable.
Very pretty bra, Lovely grey, purples and oranges. Fabric feels soft and silky. Band not too stretchy. I have slight wrinkling in bottom of cup so may be a good fit for more FOB women.
Based on my great experience with the Deco longline bra, I expected great things of this bra. When I put it on, I was pleased with the fit, comfort, and appearance. The style is current with a sweet vintage vibe. However, after wearing it during the day, I noticed gaping at the tops of the cups. I may have been able to size down in the cups. Still, the lift is very good. The band is actually amazingly comfortable, with extra soft padding along the hooks. Overall, the material is nice, and the bra is very cute both in terms of style and color/pattern, providing a good, uplifted shape, and I can fix the gaping by layering a cami over it.
Edit: After wearing this bra I realize I really should have gone down a size in the cups. There's just too much gaping at the top. Beyond that, though, I've decided Freya just isn't the brand for my breast shape.
Such a cute bra, and I was hopeful the elastic lace on the top might work to keep the top from gaping. No such luck. The underwire is too narrow and short, but the top of the cup is too big. And such long straps! I don't think my breasts and Freya bras get along well.
I bought this bra in nude and black, the band is very supportive and firm. The wings are also wide, I ordered mine in a 28F and feel like it is tighter than my curvy kate bras that I own. My favorite part of the bra is the part that some people hate, the straps are quite wide and I love wide straps.
The seams are all finished unlike my cleo bras that I own, that is a huge plus for me since I do sew.
This is a wonderful everyday bra that gives a great shape under clothes and nice cleavage. It is very supportive. After swooping and scooping I appear to fill (and even slightly over-fill) the cups, but as the day wears on I do get some gaping at the top as my breasts fall towards the centre. It's nothing major though and doesn't seem to show under clothes. It just means I have to scoop myself back in when I get the chance! Overall a great bra that I wear a lot.
The straps are very comfortable, and I love how there are two positions for the straps, so you can adjust how far apart they are. The band is very firm on the new bra; it's a job and a half putting it on, and once I'm settled in, it digs into the ribs on my left side. I'm expecting it to loosen somewhat with wear. The wires are wide enough, and the wings are high enough to feel secure, but not so high that the wires poke. Gore is nice and flat.
The cups have no quadboobing, but there is *still* a strange "crease" / ..."flattening" on the lower half of my left (smaller) breast (the same thing that has plagued me with my Panache Harmony 28DD and 28E, both in black). Pulling the wires right up (i.e. making sure the wires are sitting right on the breast crease, not below it) helps, but I think it's mostly caused by the wires being stretched a bit too much, which in turn is caused by the band being very firm (not very stretchy) on this bra. I'm considering an extender.
I've worn it for a day so far, and it works (no sliding around; the weird "crease" disappears under clothing). I was despairing of ever finding a strapless bra to fit me in a 28 band - the Wonderbra strapless (which I'd heard great things about) isn't available in a 28 band; the cups of the Panache Evie strapless were far too deep for my breasts, leaving most of the cups empty (and sad looking); the cups of the Panache Porcelain closed up too fast, resulting in a strapless bra that *looked* okay, but had weird empty space when you pressed down on the cups (and quadboobing).
