    Didn't fit

The actual color of this bra is much more vivid than the official pictures of it. It's a cross between candy pink and hot pink.

I love the shape it gives: very uplifted and very round but there's a bit of weirdness going on shape-wise on the sides. It's hard to explain but it's visible even on the official pictures. It's kind of pointy toward the outside. It's invisible underneath clothing though, so not much of a problem.

The 30 band is too large for me. I need a 28 but since this is an old model, I had to take what I could get on Ebay and that was a 30E. I can wear it on the tightest hook but I prefer to use a Rixie clip for a more secure fit when I wear it all day.

All in all, this would be my perfect bra in the correct size. Half-cups that give a cake on a plate look are my favorite.

I was on the fence about buying this bra, and I'm very happy I did!

I love the colour - it's such a bright pink. The front of the bra feels supportive around the cups, and the molded cups are very comfortable. After ordering, but before receiving this bra, I read reviews that it was padded on the inside at the bottom. While it is, it's not heavily padded like a Victoria's Secret bra. I would say that the padding is maybe like a doubled-up version of the molded part of the cup.

As I've found with the other Decos, a 32 band is maybe a little big for me. I can fasten it on the tightest hooks (I have a 29" ribcage), but it feels like it's alright there, not too loose. Over time I'm sure I'll have to shorten the band.

The top of the cup comes to what I think is a better height for me than on the full-cup decos. It provides the same nice shape and support that the full cups do.

November 2015 Update: Cups WAY too small. I've had this sitting in a box along with a lot of other bras throughout college and now it's finally time to break them out and sell them! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Original 2013 Review: This was one of the first 30 bands that I bought, before I knew about Bratabase, so I didn't know how big Freya bands are. The reviews on Barenecessities where I bought it said to size up in the cup. This may or may not have been correct for me; I can't really tell since the shape isn't correct. While the wires are wide, the ... cups are too deep for me near the center front. This bra is definitely for breasts that are more close-set and full (rather than shallow).

I altered the band since it was much too loose. I ended up making it too tight (first bra alteration ever) but it's stretched out over time. If the band was any bigger, I wouldn't fill the cups all the way. Since the band is so tight, the wires have been stretched out. They actually come back too far under my arms, but the cups encompass all of my tissue. If I swoop and scoop like crazy, I have slight quad-boob, but once I settle there are small gaps in the center front. (I think that this is because the cups were stretched too far to the sides, so it allows my tissue to settle in my armpits even though they're fully encompassed.) The shape of the cups is unlike anything I've ever seen and I definitely know now that the Freya half-cups would not fit me well.

    Pros:
    - Really pretty colors
    - Smooth, so it doesn't show under clothing
    - Firm band
    - Highly adjustable straps
    - Slight push-up pads (VERY hard to find in anything above a D cup [even if my breasts are technically small and would like some cleavage])
    - Gives me a very forward-projected shape under clothing

    Cons:
    - Cups too deep, too wide, and too close-set for me
    - Band too large (before alteration)
    - Gore digs in
    - Straps too wide in front so they dig into my armpits

I really like this bra. It's super comfortable, pretty, and it gives a nice, uplifted, rounded shape. I wish in came in size 28E, but 30D works. I will certainly buy more Freya Half Cup bras; hopefully they will offer a 28 band! I wear size 30DD in most other brands (Panache is my favorite), so, to me, this bra runs large in the band and the cups. This bra does not do as good a job at keeping my breasts front and center as the regular Deco, probably because the wires are a lot shorter and the band is thinner. It is a great bra for low-cut shirts. It's too padded for me to wear on a regular basis.

OK, so in spite of technically meeting all the fit criteria, this bra doesn't really fit me all that well. The band is a bit too loose to be fully supportive, although it doesn't ride up while I'm wearing it, and if I move my shoulders back even slightly, I get quad-boob on my larger side, but it's very comfortable, and does give excellent cleavage!

  7. This bra is a much better fit for a petite person than the regular deco, with the exception of the wide strap placement. I went up a full cup size due to the push up padding and I'm glad I did. The band feels firm enough to me and I did not need to go down in the hooks during the few months that I used this before I gained weight and outgrew it.

I also think this is a nice choice for my very soft breasts that tend to pour out of the center of plunges.

As you can see in the pictures that I added, ... I did my own alteration to remove the non-removable pushup padding from the left cup. I wanted to have a bra that would even out my asymmetry a bit for certain shirts and this alteration worked great! The depth in the altered cup is about 9.25" at the deepest point and the cup is softer and more flexible now. It does not hold its rounded shape quite as well as before. I will likely do it again in my new size, though certainly only with another discount or traded model.

As with most Freya bras, the band runs big and I have to use the second set of hooks to fasten it. I should use the third set of hooks but I do not want to stretch the band too quickly (I want to keep this bra as long as possible since Freya doesn't seem to be inclined to give us more Deco half-cups in pretty colors).

Everything else is perfect. One of my favorite bras.

This bra is the same cut as the Freya Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232) and likewise runs large in the cups and band. I sized down in the cup, but stayed with my normal band size. The looseness in the band isn't too much of an issue for me, but the uneven tension between the top and bottom of the band is far more bothersome. The bottom of the band is nice and snug, but the top of the band is loose, and even has slack just behind the cups.
This bra works for shallow breasts, though I find the wires are not long enough and the cups offer *just enough* coverage.
Appearance-wise this bra is definitely a "prettified" version of the Deco Moulded half cup. The fabric is a sugary pink with damask stripes. The sides of the cups and top of the band are edged in a cream lace, finished with bows at the straps and center gore.

This bra has slight push-up padding in it and I think it is small in the cups compared to the regular deco. I can't quite fill out the regular deco in a 28F yet I do have some slight overspill in this bra directly after scooping and swooping, though this settles down and it fits quite well. It isn't the best bra for my shape (FOB) and the centre gore doesn't lie flat. I think the band is slightly stretchier than the regular deco and it is a little larger than I would like on my 26 inch rib cage. However, I expected this. This is not really ... an everyday bra for me but is great when I want some extra cleavage.

EDIT: Now that I've gone back on the pill and my boobs have grown, this bra is small enough to pretty much be unwearable. I've added some more pictures showing how it fits now. It's worse than it looks - in these photos I've stuffed my nipples back in after swooping and scooping! My size is definitely now more like a 28FF, and this bra runs small as well so it's no wonder it doesn't work for me.
