This bra is stunningly pretty. It is a very different shape/fit from the Evangeline, which is absolutely outstanding on me in 32G and astonished me into a deep drooling unexpected love: I hadn't expected any padded halfcup to work for my immediate projection at bottom and moderately narrow root, but, also being firm and full on top, I had a whirl, and lo, joy occurred. I also have a sort of vertically shallow fade to collarbone and an overall tall root. Somehow the Evangeline was incredibly right for the whole odd combo. There is so little info about the various Fauve fits available that I took a lotto ... flyer on the Dali here when I saw it listed NWT.

The Dali is not a dreadfully bad fit, but, alas, it doesn't have the perfect iron-support, maximal uplift, precisely right width, sufficient bottom depth, perfect 18-hour comfort, and total stability combo that I had been hoping might prove Fauve-universal. And there are several issues with it. It threatens to gape just a tad -- there isn't that aggressively uplifting snugness all the way up that I get in the Evangeline. I experienced some slight underwire crawldown, indicating it hasn't got enough depth at the bottom for me. The armpit underwire mark it'd left in the evening indicates the appropriate width, but a slightly insufficient height: perhaps partly due to the crawldown but I also think it's just a slightly shorter bra. Finally, there is a little bit of uncomfortable soreness right on my sides from the lower edge of the band digging in extra hard.

(The gore-end underwire mark is over-wide, way outside where my breast root stops. That's not actually a problem. I'm very wide-set and a little narrow-rooted and I see this in almost every bra. It's not a support issue, I only have side support issues on the outer or armpit side, am too firm to have to worry about cleavage spill. And it does at least mean I never have gore tack issues.)

All these problems are not severe but they are distinctly reminiscent of the much worse time I had in my old too-big-band too-small-cup too-wide-shallow-shape bra era, before the recent Great ABTF Enlightenment. Many or most padded halfcups are best for shallower and wider women than I am. I have to conclude that the Dali is definitely one of those. I am going to continue investigating styles like the Annelise, which (from what I can tell in pictures) more closely resembles the Evangeline, and avoid those like the Aurelia, which (again, from my impressions of web images) seems similar to the Dali.

Apologies for not measuring either myself or my bras just now -- my tape measure is plasticky and slides around all over the place and it's difficult to get the same number twice running and I just can't deal at the moment. I do hope to come back and add all that at some point. My description is here up-post, and my other best fitting bra besides the Evangeline is a Cleo Melissa (in what I wish were a 34FF not a 34F, and wonder if I won't eventually be happier in a 32G, once the crazy tight band stretches a tidge and/or my shape adjusts to decent-fitting bras;happily it's still near-miraculous as it is).

I will put this bra back on Bratabase once it's washed and I get some time to focus, but it might be a few weeks, as I've intense work travel upcoming.

Surprisingly good support for such a pretty bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> heavy decorations are clearly visible through knits- may require undershirt or thicker shirt to disguise lace. Supreme lift, but doesn't bring breasts front and center. More of the "boobs on a platter" look than a rounded front and center look. Some breast tissue migrates under my arms, but is still within the underwire. Overall, comfortable, beautiful, but not subtle under many of my clothes.

My oh my. These are some very wide cups. I don't think I've experienced this sensation since I wore my old three-sizes-too-big Curvy Kate Emily.

It's a very pretty bra. The Jade colourway is a lovely antique green with black vines and florals swirling across the three-part cups. There's wavy black lace on the top of the cups and bottom of the band, on the centre gore is a bow with another bow on top with little teardrop crystals hanging on the ribbons, and even the back closure has some nice detailing. The straps have a little bit of decoration, but honestly I wish there were more.

The gore doesn't ... lie flat, probably because of the wide gore and maybe also the wires. Since it's a longline, it's still rather supportive, and my boobs aren't attempting a jailbreak. The fabrics are soft and comfortable.

The quality feels a lot better than sister brand Freya's longlines. I've read that the lace at the bottom of the band flips up on some, but on me it doesn't, or at least it doesn't feel/look as bad as it does in my Freyas (which usually have the band sneaking up in between the wires and my IMF - it's a weird feeling)

I went up a size in this as it stops at a G cup and I've always wanted a 30GG in these styles. The band feels good, not too tight (important in longlines as it compresses a larger area of your ribcage and therefore your lungs), but it still stays put. The cups, as I mentioned, have sufficient volume, but are too wide. Why is it so hard for designers to make half cups for projected and narrow boobs?

One thing that's worth mentioning is the lack of more than 2 colums of eyes. I noticed there are 4, 5 and even 6 hook extenders cheap on Ebay, which I will be buying and adding to it.

Astounded to find a padded half-cup working on me, but it does, amazingly well, though the shape it creates is definitely closer to the body than I expect to see. Tons and tons of lift, authoritarian construction and a VERY firm band appear to be the key. It has more depth in the bottom than most padded halfcups and thus accommodates my projection, but without actually giving a projected look. I have a lot of fullness on top and a tall root, with a slight slope above up to collarbone as well as the flagrant FoT, so I'm beyond delighted to find a workable half-cup. It gives a ... ... well, a less projectile than I expect yet absolutely perfect cakes-on-a-plate shape. It does not budge over 18 hours' wear, literally not an iota of downward wire crawl, wire mark perfectly placed right up in the inframammary fold, hallelujah. It's so comfortable there is literally zero to notice about it being on -- even late that night -- other than how awesome-looking one is and how little one's back hurts.

The same size as in my far duller, utility Fantasie side support bra, Susanna, worked perfectly here. The wire width seems very similar i.e. medium or maybe a tidge on the narrow side, and comes up plenty high enough at the sides -- very nice wire shape to find in a half-cup. (I did not have any gore issues. I'm wide-set as hell and the gore's a bit narrow for me, but I'm also splayed and firm so central support is wasted on me anyhow, it's all about uplift and push-in.)

(Note: Bratabase won't let me enter that it fits me without doing the whole measurement rigmarole. It absolutely does fit. I'll fix this eventually.)

If you are in my size range, which is at or near the top of Fauve's cup limit, and you're browsing for a padded halfcup because you're wide and shallow and have been told that that cut's a good bet, and you're just wondering hmm, what about Fauve, then I suggest another choice may suit you better. (I've just reviewed the Dali, for instance. It seems more along the usual shallower/wider lines.) The Evangeline seems to be that rare and precious foothold in this category for us comparatively deep, projecting, narrow, firm full-on-tops.

Where has this bra been all my life?! I actually came across this bra by chance and it was the ONLY 32G available! This is absolutely 100% the best bra I've ever owned. It's perfect. The fabric is so incredibly soft and comfy, the band fits perfectly snug, the wires are short but long enough to hold in breast tissue and not long enough to where it's poking under my armpit. The fabric is very breathable which is nice because at the end of the day, I don't feel like it's soaked in sweat. This is the perfect bra to wear every day.

EDIT: As much as I love this bra, I have gained a significant amount of weight and, sadly, it no longer fits. It's tight around my rib cage and has started cutting into breast tissue. It would be a much comfortable fit if it were maybe a 32GG or 34G. It's still one of my favorites and I still recommend it.

Such a pretty design 💕 gorgeous detailing and a non-standard dusky shade of pink.
This could be in the 'Disney princess' collection, then it should've been called Aurora!

Sister sized to a 32G because this beauty was on sale: Sadly it's too small for me.
My most common size is a 30GG but I've been leaning towards 30H. This 32 band is pretty loose (seems common for Fauve, Fantasie & Freya). Cups seem small for a 32G, or at least quite shallow! Gore doesn't tack in the least, lots of bulging and quad. Wanted to make it work but I can't ignore these issues.

Anyway it's been sleeping in my drawer for a while now, tags still attached. So unless I loose a lot of weight and go down 1 or 2 sizes, I may have to let it go.

Think this is the most expensive bra I've ever bought... I was totally head over heels in LOVE with the appearance and waited for it to be (sort of) on sale. Still, as I hardly ever wear it, perhaps it wasn't worth the money https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The longline looks great, but the band flips up on me. As long as I'm standing it's mostly ok, but sitting down it immediately rolls and flips and digs. The band is a bit large but I can't get it to stay in place. Think my body shape does not easily agree with longlines? I have similar issues ... with Freya Flourish.. Taking in the band would only make it less comfy I'm afraid (causing digging into my tummy?). Read some other reviews of people trying to add boning - might try that as well, as this precious gem is too gorgeous to let go!

Definitely more of a special occasion bra than an every day bra.
As for size & fit, I'm around 30GG (Deco) and 30H. So I guess this runs regular-to-large the cup, while being shallow-ish and open on top. Best for FOT shapes.

I bought this bra because I found it on sale for cheap, I like half-cups, and I know Fauve and Masquerade bras are comfy.

It doesn't fit me properly in the least: it's too shallow and small for me in this cup volume, the gore doesn't tack, and the band is very slightly too stretchy for me, even on the tightest setting, because I wear a 30 band.

    But it sure is pretty!

I love Fauve. Their padded bras fit great and are sooo beautiful. Coco in powder goes rather well as a nude bra for me. I don't know why but while I spill out of the center of the Freyas and Ewas I can wear the Fauves without any readjastments during the day

EDIT: Another unfortunate casualty of tissue migration... Still a gorgeous bra, though.

This is a new favorite! Truth be told, the band is a bit big, and I'll probably have to alter it down before too long, but it is a gorgeous bra, and I love the rounded shape. It's also super comfortable, with nice narrow wires.

I bought this at Intimacy on sale about 6 months ago. I'm a 28/30 band, so this was obviously too big. Thankfully, they were able to easily take it in to a standard 28, and now it fits perfectly. It's a lovely bra, but the straps have a crinkle detail on both sides that ends up bothering me after a while-not to mention the marks they leave on my skin. I wear it still (wore it today actually), but I think it's going to have to make its way to my 'occasional lingerie' drawer -where the things that aren't quite right but I still love them because they're pretty-end up.

First of all the bra is absolutely beautyfull with it's vintage flower print with mesh overlay. It fits perfect in my usual size of 32G giving nice round shape thanks to its vertical seems. The gore isn't high and lies flat. The wires are bit on the wide side. I'd like the band to be more snug - it does'n ride up but I'll probably switch to the second hook. I don't readjust during the day and absolutely love the fit and the shape it gives me. The vertical seems are visible under the tops but I haven't wash the bra yet, may be they'll be softer and flatten a little then.
The Annalise is one of my fave bras along with the Cleo Rihanna

The cups in this bra have empty space along the top edges, and the gore doesn't lay flat against my chest. It's not uncomfortable to me, but I'm still new to wearing bras that fit, so anything is better than what I was wearing.
