This was my first bra that was close to a good fit. The boutique didn't have any 28 bands at all, so they put me in what they considered a snug 30. This bra is incredibly well made in my opinion. At first I thought it was very matronly, since I had been wearing the wrong size for so long and was not entirely used to the wires being where they are supposed to and the gore going where it was supposed to. I was so used to a giant band with narrow cups that didn't fill out correctly, with a hollow under my bust, and was taken ...aback that this was how a bra was supposed to fit. I have been wearing this bra consistently for about 3 years. This has been my "go to" daily bra since I couldn't find any retailers that had 28 bands until recently. I am disappointed that they don't make it anymore, considering it is a very high quality bra. I have gotten 3 years of use out of it and haven't even gotten to the last hooks yet, it still looks new, and the bra doesn't look cheap or old yet even. It is definitely still in rotation for me and one of my "sophisticated" bras. If they could find it, I would recommend it to a friend. Read more 117 more words
Where has this bra been all my life?! I actually came across this bra by chance and it was the ONLY 32G available! This is absolutely 100% the best bra I've ever owned. It's perfect. The fabric is so incredibly soft and comfy, the band fits perfectly snug, the wires are short but long enough to hold in breast tissue and not long enough to where it's poking under my armpit. The fabric is very breathable which is nice because at the end of the day, I don't feel like it's soaked in sweat. This is the perfect bra to wear every day.
EDIT: As much as I love this bra, I have gained a significant amount of weight and, sadly, it no longer fits. It's tight around my rib cage and has started cutting into breast tissue. It would be a much comfortable fit if it were maybe a 32GG or 34G. It's still one of my favorites and I still recommend it.
such a pretty bra, but like all balcony / balconettes I've tried, it's a catastrophe if I wear it. I get either extra room at the point of the cup, or some bizarro-land orange-in-a-glass thing - it's really like someone tried to put oranges in a ziplock bag with a weird mountain range crest line... anyway, it doesn't fit me.
The comfort (fit issues aside) is great, the fabric is high quality and the lace feels sturdy. The detailing is impeccable and beautiful and luxurious. The band fits without any weirdness to the stretch - doesn't create bulges or have tight 'edges'. The cups just don't work for me... like, at all.
Cons: it's new and I need the straps adjusted as tight as possible, so if the straps stretch I won't be able to tighten them enough. The upper, thinner part of the cups is a bit wrinkly, but there's also some bulging along the seam.
It wasn't cheap, so as it's not perfect for me I will send it back.
