I tried this on in a cup size larger than I normally take because I'm still figuring out my size but this was pretty roomy in the cup. I didn't like the look of the straps stitched over the cups in a sling type shape - it made my breasts look more projected than they already are. I had to pull the straps tighter to see how it might fit with a smaller cup and it looked okay from the front but when I turned to the side, I got the pointy boob effect. Band fit pretty well though (not too tight or stretchy) and quality of the bra was great and looked very pretty (in the grey colorway).
This is not my size, but it works as a "keep it around for now" bra. At the moment, I can't wear it for a full day (12+ hours) without having some kind of pain due to it squashing my boobs upward (not inward), out of their natural state.
I think the style does not work on me. If I had my correct size (probably 34GG?), the cup would be even taller and looser on the top third.
CUP: Too tall. Not deep enough where I need it. Too much volume on top. Apex too high for me, though this is a seamless single piece of fabric, so ...it's hard to "see" where the apex is. BAND: Okay. Can't tell if it's stretching the wire too much. 2 hooks. WIRE: Holy cow long, at least for me. Width is okay, a bit narrow for me, but it's kind of stretchy, which is not really a good thing. CENTER GORE: Way too high on me. Not really poke-y, though, which seems odd. I can't tell if the wire is torquing or not. WINGS: Fine. STRAPS: In between fine and too wide. I probably should adjust them shorter.
AESTHETICS: Blah color. Blah fabric. Smooth, though. Doesn't do a thing for hiding nipples.
I purchased and wore this bra under different measurements than I have now. When I wore it, it worked with my shape -- wide root, relatively even from top to bottom -- fairly well. The wires may have been a touch narrow and/or the band may have run a touch larger than I was. Good coverage, decent shape. A nice every day bra. The material is smooth enough to wear under T-shirts -- for folks who want a non-molded T-shirt bra.
I LOVE this bra. The fabrics are very comfortable, the foam is breathable and malleable, the decoration is simple and gorgeous. It's about a cup size too small and a bit too narrow for me but it's so comfy that I rarely care.
Band is VERY comfortable, but cup shape creates an unfilled pointy pocket where it thinks my nipple should be. Straps are about the right width for me, but there is some folding at the bottom of the cup because the wires are too narrow for me. Some of the stitching is visible in places it shouldn't be, which makes me question how well put together the bra is.
I LOVED this bra back when it fit. now the cups are way too small. it never pokes, even now when one of the underwires snapped when i braked too hard in the car. give a slightly pointy shape
Tried this one in purple on at the store. At 5'2", I think I am too short for this style.
The cups were a little small and the gore didn't tack. The main problem is that the side of the cup (between the strap and the wire) was too high/wide for me and rubbed against my arm. With this, trying on a 34GG would be pointless.
Originally, I was not a fan of the shape as sort of squished my boobs, but when I pulled the wires into the right place, it looked a lot better. I think it might be a little bit too shallow for me.
Very pretty smooth bra in Dewberry color, but the shape didn't work for me. There was space at the top of the molded cup, in front of my shoulders, yet I was bulging at the center and armpit. I don't think the size was an issue, since the bulging cancelled out the gaping, and with some shuffling, I could place everything properly, but I'd shift within moments and get the gaping and bulging again. Returned it promptly.
It's definitely good for somebody with fuller boobs; I'm definitely a Fantasie girl, and they fit me very well. No poking, and the band tends to be a little stretchy -- I've gained some weight and it still fits me fine.
This isn't my favorite, because it comes up high from the strap to the underwire on the arm side. The underwire itself doesn't poke me, but the edge of the cup is uncomfortable by my underarm! The height of the cup can also be a problem for low-cut shirts. The band stretches very easily, so the comfort is good around your ribs. I actually am worried that this might be a problem when it is a little older, since I've only had it a week and I can already move from the last hooks to the middle ones. Considering I am trying to lose weight, I hope the bra keeps from stretching more so it works still if I drop along my ribs. If it wasn't for my arm pooch along my arm pits, this would be a very comfortable bra. I suggest women with my measurements try it on and see if that problem applies to them - if not, they'll probably be very happy!
