Fantasie molded bras are some of my absolutely faves. Wonderful rounded shape, great uplift (which kinda comes up like just below your neck , this has a nice touch of lace under the cups. Fits exactly like Ava and Veronica, all of which have really sturdy cup molding. Would recommend for anyone with very soft breasts or slightly uneven cup sizes. Veronica review here: http://bra.pe/Mh1/.
Measured unstretched immediately before wearing. Purchased Late-April 2011.
((Best bra ever! I find myself typically 30FF in both Fantasie pieced or molded but this one fit best one cup size up, 30G. My boobs are practically up to my neck in this one--THE perfect t-shirt bra!!!))
Edit: I realize now the cups are bigger than they should be. This was my first moulded-cup purchase after finding my real size and also it was on sale so I didn't have the option of comparing with other sizes and since I thought it fit I wore it for a good 5 months until I really compared it with the other molded styles. Next time I purchase Fantasie it will be in 30FF. Until then it works as a period bra.
I bought this bra to try along with the 30DD Fantasie Paige and 30DD Smoothing Moulded T-Shirt Bra.
This bra is very similar to the Paige in measurements and fit, but for some reason the Paige works slightly better for me. In this one I get slightly more problems with gaping and cutting in. Not sure why.
I would recommend this bra if you liked the Smoothing Moulded T-Shirt Bra but need a shorter gore, deeper cup, and overall shorter wires.
I like the fit better than the Freya Deco. Cups thin but hard, feels like armour at first. Excellent T-shirt bra for soft FOB breasts. Great lift, but at the same time almost a minimising effect - in this size it gives a rounded shape. There is a slight quadding on the larger side, but not so bad to go up a cup size. True to size both in band and cup. My best moulded cup style so far.
When I first got this bra, I loved the shape it gave me in contrast to even more poorly-fitting bras, but I didn't know that red marks from the band were normal - so I wore it rarely. Then I gained weight and this became "the biggest bra I owned." And it still left marks and dug in weird places and now it gave me quadboob...
But those are all issues of fit. The bra itself is sturdy but somewhat industrial-looking. After infrequent wearings, it's still tight enough to leave marks and I haven't left the first column of hooks. The seam where the strap meets the cup is ...HORRIBLE however. It rubs my underarm chub (or possibly migrated boob) constantly and leaves a sore rash by the end of the day. That seam is my most hated part of this bra.
It does have a pretty shape if your boobs fit inside it, though. And for a beige bra for everyday wear, it blends in pretty well with outfits. The fabric the cups are made of makes a bit of sound - that foamy squeaky noise - when t-shirt fabric moves over it. Read more 84 more words
This bra is my absolute favorite for wearing under things other than a t-shirt because of the great shape and subtle cleavage it gives. I absolutely love the pointier Fantasie shape! It's very comfortable. Sadly I went down a cup size.
This bra convinced 3 of my friends to go buy Fantasie bras. It was awesome and the best thing my boobs have ever rested in. It held me up and alert. It smoothed under shirts. I adored it. However, it no longer exists. Apparently it isn't being made anymore. After 2 wonderful years together, the underwire stabbed out of the centre gore at me and I had to say good-bye.
This bra is too big for me, but I can close it tight enough to stay level.
I don't quite fill the cup, but it looks smooth under clothes.
It's got a pretty design on the fabric, plus some lace. But, for me, it's not a pretty bra and hubby hates it. But Mr Grumpy thinks all beige bras are ugly, so he is being ignored. Plus, it's a full cup without really any lift. Which gives me a meh shape.
But, for classical cello concerts, where a white shirt is required, it's invisible under my shirt, it's comfy enough and it covers basically everything, so no spillage risk. So it does exactly what I want it to do.
So it does only what I need, gives me a ho-hum shape and hubby doesn't like. But until I find a nude for me containment with no escape chance bra, this services nicely.
Foam moulded cups are too pointy in my opinion, gave great lift though, but I think it is too big for me. Sides of cups are too tall and stiff, started chafing under the arms. After about midday. Bra got exchanged.
