The only thing I can say I didn't like about this bra is the band isn't quite as stretchy as my Deco, so the tightness of the band isn't as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. It's wearable, but I wouldn't say perfect (I measure between 36 and 38).
The cups are soft and foamy, and give a natural rounded shape. No cleavage with this bra, but good support and would be extremely comfortable if not for the issue mentioned above.
This is amazing quality but is definitely the wrong size for me. Boob tissue escapes from everywhere when doing S/S. The center gore doesn't sit against my sternum. The straps dig into my shoulders terribly. The band digs into my ribcage and the underwires dig in on the front. The cups seem too shallow and makes quadboob.
Good bra for work, feels stable with a simple shape and straps aren't too bothersome. However, this size cuts in way high up (how??) while the next size up is too large.
originally got this bra in 36f, which was just a smidge too small, but even so it was so comfy and versatile I bought it in 36ff. Wear it all the time, goes well under work clothes. doesn't quite tack and looks like it wrinkles at the bottom when I first scoop and swoop but my rather soft breast tissue settles into it pretty quickly and then it fits almost perfectly. Ther is a teeny bit of cup at the top that I can't quite fill, but when I settle in it covers up my armpit flub.
I just found it in a box I was unpacking. I think it must date to around 2006 or 2007. It is in my record of bras I have purchased, but it is undated. I was wearing a Freya in 36F in 2008, which is the same cup size, so I wouldn't place it too much before 2008, when I had weight gain which increased my band size.
The pattern on this bra is really cute and the fabric itself is very soft and smooth and breathable. I'm so glad I was able to give this bra a try for so cheap right before summer, because it's going to be heaven as it gets warmer out.
I found the cups in this bra to be pretty shallow. This causes some wrinkling near the underwire where my boobs try to push the shallower lower cup panels down to make space, and pulls the gore away from my chest at the top. Overall though the fit is quite good for my even but slightly fuller on top breast shape.
I quite liked this bra except for the one main reason that made me return it: it made my boobs point down. Sidedays, they looked "sad" as in an inverted "7" shape. One of the main features I look for in a bra is uplift and obviously I was getting quite the opposite with this bra. It's like if the apex of the bra is too low, the point where the bottim piece meets the top one is too low. However, I did find the bra supportive. I liked the nude colour as it seemed to disappear under light clothes and the seams where not too noticeable under t-shirts, making it an acceptable alternative to a plain seamless t-shirt bra (which was the main reason I ordered this style). Also, I found this 36 band to be quite tight and firm compared to Panache or Cleo.
I quite liked this bra except for the main thing that made me return it: it made my boobs point down. The shape I got sideways just made my boobs look "sad" as in an inverted "7" shape - and that's precisely one thing I am not looking for in a bra!. I found the band a bit tight and hardly stretchy at all. I thought the colour (nude) was very good as it disappeared under clothes and I found the seams were not too visible under shirts or t-shirts, making it an acceptable alternative to a plain seamless t-shirt bra (at least for me).
Excellent lift and support but I always find contoured cups to be too much bra for me. Some faint quadraboobing along largest breast. Rolling lace under underwires.
I've only just got it but I love it already! The right side cuts in only a little at the top but that is only right after I've scooped/swooped and not all the time. The color is more purple-y than I thought it was from the picture but I love it! It's very pretty, and fits like my other best fitting bra.
I wear this bra under everything. It gives me a rounded shape with good lift and stays put all day. I don't get any show through when I'm cold, and the pattern is subtle enough not to show under lighter weight tops. Also, because the fabric seems to be more slick on the outer side, tops don't cling or wrinkle up. The only con is that I know my smaller breast doesn't fill out the cup fully, so if it wasn't so stiff, the cup would probably wrinkle on one side.
I bought this bra on eBay after trying it on at Nordstrom's. I thought (and the fitter agreed) that fit really well. This was only the first or second time I'd ever tried bras that were anywhere near close to my correct size, and I think I hadn't quite mastered the scoop and swoop and did not fully understand importance of wire width yet. When it arrived I was horribly disappointed to realize that the cups were too small and the wires did not fully encapsulate all breast tissue on both sides simultaneously. When I first put in on the gore tacks and it looks pretty good. ...Once I swoop and scoop, I can get one wire in the correct place and it the width is good for the individual breast, but the other cup gets pulled forward and the wire is definitely on breast tissue and the gore floats off my chest. It may be that a slightly wire gore/more separation between the cups would deal with the width issue. The band is great, snug and comfortable and despite my extra plushness in my tummy/back/ribcage, it does not give me an extra chub roll as most bras do.
I've seen complaints in other reviews that it gives a "wide" or "matronly" look: I do wish it had a little more side support- my breasts are pretty soft, and this bra does let them curve out to the side more than I expected, but they're not splayed and the shape is still nice and rounded. I have a fair amount of natural projection, so even with some of my tissue out on the side don't feel flat at all. I actually feel like it makes my ribcage and waist look smaller in comparison when you look at me head on.
I kept it because I didn't want to deal with the return process and it is substantially better than anything I have now. I do love the fabric, it is much thinner and more breathable than any other molded bra I've tried but provides adequate nipple coverage, even under thin shirts. Overall, even with slightly too small cups, it is very comfortable. The strap placement it great, not irritatingly wide/hanging off the edges of my shoulders like most of the bras I've tried, and the wire width is really very close to being right. I also like that it doesn't come up too high- I can't wear my lowest cut shirts, but a lot of the medium low cut necklines that I wear to work are fine. Another pro: I have a longer torso, so underwires tend to jab me in the upper breast tissue (instead of my armpit, which seems to be the common complaint) so I like that the underwire ends a little lower than the top of the outer end of the cup. The flip side of that is that that there is some breast tissue that is not fully pulled forward and slides back a little throughout the day. When my budget allows I will buy definitely purchase this same bra in 36ff. Read more 409 more words
I very nearly fill out the cup for this bra, but it is a little too big on top. The width works better on my narrow root, but is not quite narrow enough and the straps cut into my armpit/shoulder area
What I've learned from this bra is: for unpadded cups, the fit of the cup depends a lot on the band length and the strap length. As the band stretches and straps ar shortened, the underwires are also stretched, and the shape of the cups change as well. The band of this bra is definitely too loose for me, and the cups winkle a lot. but if I have the band stretched, my boobs can actually fill them pretty good. Unfortunately, Fantasie does not make under-30 bands. Their bras look really beautiful, but there should be no chance that I wear them.
I am pretty much in love with this bra. Gives great shape, is invisible under T shirts, fits the way I'd like with no riding up and wires flush to sternum (took some molding to my chest, but holds well). The bra is lined, but not padded to add size, and the cup is quite firm, completely holds its own shape when not being worn. This can occasionally cut a bit into my pec area when I reach straight out with my arms, otherwise it isn't an issue. I bought in a dark pink, which is really pretty, and the floral lace gives a unique touch. Should probably buy another in nude or black, but my hubby prefers unlined bras, so I'm still on the search for an unlined T shirt bra.
