This is my first Ewa Michalak so I wasn't quite sure on the size, seems I need to go up a cup. The right boob is perfect, but my left is bigger and even with empty boobs it's spilling out. The bra itself is very soft and comfortable. The way the cup fabric is sewn does give it a few wrinkles here and there, but it's not major. On me the colour is pale enough that it's a good nude bra. It gives me a very round shape and really seems to lift my boobs. The wires are just the right width. I find most bras have wires too wide for me but these are almost perfect. I feel very well supported and comfortable, and would definitely buy this again a cupsize bigger.
My first EM bra! Of course, the nursing bras are not nearly as exciting as the regular ones, but this is still a great bra.
Considering I had no idea what size to get, this one fits surprisingly well. The website suggested something like a 44G when I normally wear a 38H or HH. Based on reviews of EM I decided to get a 40 band. It fits well enough. I don't wear it on the loosest hook though, but I think a 38 might have been too tight.
The HH fits strangely. At first it seemed way too loose, because I had a lot of space at the top ...of the cup. But after wearing a while and really adjusting myself into it, I have no idea if the cup is too big or too small. It wrinkles a bit where the cup meets the strap, but since there is an extra layer and the nursing clasps, I don't know if that can be helped. I feel like there is a tiny bit of quad boob going on on my larger side.
The center gore does not lie flat. It comes close: it's flat at the bottom but slants out toward the top. There seems to be a bit of space in the cup at the center.
I love this bra. It's comfortable and supportive and gives great shape. I'm really happy I was able to find a good size on the first try. One downside is that since the cups are slightly padded, you need to push them down when you nurse, and I wonder if that will wrinkle the padding over time. Read more 164 more words
When I first put this bra on, I really really liked it, but after wearing it around the house for an hour or two I think it might get returned. It fits well enough, and it's relatively comfortable, but I'm just not sure it works for me given the size difference on my left and right.
I've been nursing for almost 4 years at this point, and there's about a cup size difference between right and left. Sometimes, in certain bras, it looks worse than others. I have another plunge bra from Ewa that fits great with zero problems, but that one also has a cookie ...pocket that I can use to my advantage. In this bra, the left cup fits perfectly on my larger breast, but the right cup gaps a lot. I don't think anyone else would notice, but it drives me nuts. There is no cookie pocket on this style.
There was also some minor wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. You can see it a little bit in the photos, but it became more pronounced the longer I wore the bra. It was never really awful, but combined with the gap issue on my right side, I'm just not super confident in this bra. It's a really great nursing bra though! I may change my mind in a few weeks and reorder it, haha. I did test it out with a cookie just placed in the cup and it fixed about 80% of the gap issue, but especially in a nursing bra you want something to stay in place. The cup will be flapped open and shut all day, I don't want to have to keep readjusting the cookie.
For those hoping for some information about the construction of the nursing clip, it is a bright white clip on a beige side sling. The sling material feels like cotton. I'm a little disappointed that they chose to use a white clip on a bra with 100% beige hardware and fabric; it looks cheap and out of place. The clip functions as expected.
Aesthetically, it's a really beautiful beige nursing bra (if you ignore that white clip). The lace along the top of the cup has a subtle thread of sparkly silver woven through it. It has the potential to be a great staple of your bra wardrobe if you are a nursing mom.
This appears to be the exact same as the plunge (PL) style bra with nursing clips added. It's a nice light color that matches my fair skin quite well. Unfortunately it is at least 1-2 cup sizes too small for me although the band fits well. There are nice decorative touches...bows, scalloped edging, detail on the straps. Overall much nicer than most nursing bras I've tried and I've tried a LOT through 3 kids...there are very few 28/30 bands and usually wire-free which I personally can't stand. Lining is very soft and feels like cotton, the padding is awesome for hiding prominent nipples and/or nursing pads.
Okay, first of all this bra was the light colored bra that was cheap enough to dye it to the green bra I ever wanted. I do nor use the nursing function, so I removed it, but I will try to say something about this bra in the original form. Please keep in ind that I did not try this bra undyed and therefore I'm not sure what is an effect of boiling this bra in the polyester dye. Anyhow it survived without any issues, which makes me think it has a really good quality. The band is quite tight, tighter than the other bands of this size ...from Ewa. The measurements are not giving a hint of this, so I guess it is just less stretchy. The cup is really closed on the top, even if I am really FOB it cuts in a little bit and I am still busy to stretch it a bit every time I wash this bra. The nursing function makes the straps a little bit shorter, they are exactly long enough for me without any backup. The nursing function really annoyed me, it dig into my armpits and almost hurts. This might be caused by the shortish straps but if I will ever need a nursing bra it wont be from Ewa Michalak. After simply cutting everything away it fits like a normal PL. Read more 121 more words
