  1. My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

I love, love, love this bra. I don’t know any other way to say it. The colour is a perfect shade of inky dark blue, with little clear gems on the gore and straps. It seems to be sewn a little differently than my other two BMs, giving me more of rounded shape under clothing. If I only could keep one bra, this one would be it. This style is excellent for short shapes!

    Didn't fit

After measuring and re measuring and wearing this bra, and looking at sister sizes and checking the tag to be sure I wasn't crazy, I've come to the conclusion that it cannot possibly be a 100FF as the tag says. The cups on this are only 11.5 inches deep, whereas the sister sizes of other BMs in specific and other Ewa's in general usually have around 13 inches. It leaves me wondering if there's a 100E out there with a switched tag!

That being said, even though it doesn't fit it took me a couple of wears to realize it due to the lovely, fantastic, magical stretch lace. I'm really center full and the stretch lace accommodated that beautifully. I had no quading, and the gore even tacked! I'm going to try again with another BM.

    Summary of good things:
    -Projected at the wire
    -Projected at the gore
-Stretch lace very forgiving for asymmetry and FOT breasts
    -Narrow wires
-Brings breasts front and center but not overly in your face.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Possibly mislabeled - cup depth makes no sense

    Didn't fit

I originally reviewed this bra in a 65G, http://bra.pe/X2kV/ , but because I feel like it runs the smallest out of all my BM’s over all, I wanted to try to see if I could get a better fit sizing up a cup.

Aaaannnnnddd no. It doesn’t work. The straps on this are way too far apart. Much more uncomfortable than my other two 65GG BM’s I own. This size the band also runs very snug! Mathematically, the band should be fine, but it’s just one of those bands I’m very aware of, if you know what I mean. Tho this cup gives a lovely rounded shape, it also buckles under the cup. If a 65G1/2 was a thing, it’d probably fit me in this bra.
I also love that this has a 3x4 back-band closure. I wish EM would have continued making 65G’s with the 3x4 hooks. Tho this bra has the usual quality you come to expect from EM. This particular one is just a hard fit. It sure is a beautiful bra.

oh bummer, it's a really pretty colour!!

    • 1

BraOdyssey It really is. I’ll just continue to wear my 65G on my small boob days. If I ever see an older 65G with the 3X4 hook closer up for sale I’m going to grab it. The pre 2x4 65G’s just fit different than the older ones.

Kleks is very pretty. I love the navy over black, it is great in person. The dangling crystals at gore and front of straps are a nice touch.

The band is on the tighter side for a 65, you would have to pull hard to stretch it to 30 inches. This works for me, but might not for other people who generally like a 30 band.

The cups are pretty, and soft. The gore tacks with my close set breasts. The cups are just too big for me, and my breasts look sad in them. 65HH might work...

  5. I already had Kleks in 60K & while it fits nice and full at lowest tide, it became quite clear it was too small in the cup during the rest of the month, so I ordered it again at 60KK.

Compared to the other BMs that I have, Kleks fits more like the half lace ones than the full lace ones. Kleks definitely runs smaller than the other full lace BMs, at least in my size range.

    Measurements for 60KK=
Band 23.5” flat to 29.75” stretched with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
Cup depth is 12.15” (measured hovered between the knees with the tape measure placed into ... the cups without any resistance) to a max of 15.5” stretched over the knee.
Cup height is 10” and width is 6.25”
Wing is 4.65” and gore is .65” wide and 4.25”tall

    Measurements for 60K=

Cup depth is 12” (measured hovered between the knees with the tape measure placed into the cups without any resistance) to a max of 15” stretched over the knee.
Cup height is 10” and width is 6”
Wing is 4.8” and gore is .56” wide and 4.25”tall

So, the difference between the two is minimal but hopefully will make a difference for fitting better at higher tides for me. (I’m at low tide right now, so can’t say for sure but the 60KK fits great now at least! Haha. I will try to add photos at high tide if I remember.)

I really wish that Ewa wouldn’t make the band longer in the 60KKs, but it seems to be a consistent design and when I requested them to be shorter I was told no in a slightly offensive way. Specifically, Kaska at Ewa told me that all bras will be made to standard and if I want a shorter band I will need to hire a seamstress to shorten them for me, or I will have to go to Poland so Ewa can measure me herself then decide if she is willing to accommodate my request…….uh….yeah…… So much for her “body positive” motto! (I then gave her my measurements and she requested photos, front, side, and back of me in an Ewa 60KK bra. I sent them (SF Maryna) and stated that even 1cm shorter would be of great assistance to me and she said she’ll see what Ewa can do, but then never got back to me and my order arrived, surprise, without shorter bands.) Oh well, such is life, right? Ugh.

So, keep in mind if you’re above a 60K cup, expect the bands to run a size large, and no Ewa will not make a 55 band in a cup above a J due to wire distortion and incompatibility at a larger cup size, so if you need them shorter, you’ll have to do so yourself.

    Fits

Well, this is it. Shut it down, everybody. Kill the lights. The search is over. I found it. A Bra That Fits. My Ideal Bra. (For now, anyway - if there's anything I've learned on this crazy [series of] ride[s] it's that Boobs Change.)

This soft unlined bra is supportive; has plenty of wire, apex, and top depth (all of which I need), just the right amount; gives me a softly rounded, naturalistic shape; and is super-comfortable. In addition to the pretty outer lace in dark navy blue ('Kleks' means 'inkblot'), it's lined with a super-soft fine black stretchy mesh for modesty and luxurious comfort.

Firm band, fits like a 55/26. This is very pretty, not a bad fit but also not quite right. I need a little more depth, but since the cups are tall and the straps are wide set (I'd forgotten that about Ewa), I don't want to try the next size up.

    Didn't fit

This Kleks is in the Ewa Michalak BM style, which is unpadded, wired, and full-coverage. It is made of a lace material with matching mesh fabric on the inside. The color is a perfect navy blue that I looooove. I actually thought the Kleks colorway was in a different EM fit style when I ordered it as I wanted to try 3 different EM styles but oh well!

The wires were narrow and fit my shape very well! The gore sits nice and flat against my chest wall, but tiny bit on the vertical side closest to my breast. It doesn't lift up, it just...tilts a little so ... the tiny bow in the middle also tilts a bit. This would not be a deal-breaker to me at all. . The profile shape was natural-looking but more uplifted and rounded. The lace wasn't too obvious through a t-shirt and I would feel comfortable wearing this to work under most tops.

The cups were a little too tall. One cup was definitely a bit baggy on the upper part. The bottom of the cups have a bit of wrinkling. The straps are set just a hair wider than I like; however, it is the same with the BM Antonina and those straps stayed in place 99% of the day so I think the Kleks would be fine as well.

So in comparing the BM Kleks and Antonina, I am returning this one (as much as I love the color and style) and keeping the BM Antonina instead. BM Antonina was slightly less baggy for me and seems more practical (so boring I know) since I can wear under light or dark tops. If the cup height was a touch shorter in order to eliminate that bagginess, I probably would keep them both. I hope the Kleks comes in a different style because the color is perfect.

    Fits

TL;DR — This BM Kleks bra is a gorgeous, soft, blue lace. You will want to size up one band size. The bra creates a nice, rounded shape with good forward projection. Great style for narrow, projected shapes.

    ——-
I really like my 80FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Puder so when I saw that Levana Bratique was having a sale, I ordered the 80FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm Kleks (861). (Levana calls these the “Powder Lace Bra” and the “Lace Bra,” in case you’re looking for them there.) Like my other Ewa BM, this one runs small in the band, so you’ll want ... to get your sister size. I’m a 34 (75) band in nearly everything else but a 36 (80) band in the Ewa BM bras. The top part of the cup is stretch lace, which is nice if you’re a little asymmetrical or tend to change size throughout the month.

This bra is really pretty in person. The lace is dark enough to work underneath black tops, but it’s actually a beautiful blue. The jewel details on the straps and gore add a little fun sparkle. This bra was itchy when I first tried it on, but now that it’s been worn and washed, the lace feels soft and no longer itches. The firm wire and the seaming provide good support, but the fabric is lightweight and not stiff.

If you have a narrow, projected breast shape, then this bra is definitely worth a try! The gore is tall enough that you shouldn’t have an issue with spilling out the middle if you’re center-full and have struggled with spillage in plunge styles. If you have short roots or are very bottom-full, then you might prefer another Ewa (or Comexim) style with a shorter cup height. I really like Ewa Michalak BM style bras, and it’s probably good that I live too far away to go to the shop in person and accidentally buy 2-3 at a time. lol
