This is my second time purchasing this bra in the size 65GG. More on that and why.

Original review for size 65GG, found here: http://bra.pe/X4mV/

I don’t usually share reviews on the front page for a bra I’m just repurchasing in a size up/down unless I feel there is something important to take away. So here we have Kleks. I know some have had a love hate relationship with Kleks, me included. So why, did I buy it in a 65GG and return it the first time? Well at the time my 65G was the smallest ... cut out of my 65G BM collection. So at the time I was trying to get a better fit. The 65GG I originally purchased was also cut very small! The band of the original 65GG was tight to the point I felt constructed and uncomfortable! The cup seemed to fit wonderfully, but the straps felt way too wide and annoyed the heck out of me.
So back she went to the US retailer I purchased from.

Flash forward to today, and my bust have grown due to body fat redistribution, perimenopause, and age. So I decided to rebuy my whole bra collection in a cup up. When it came to Kleks I was on the fence about buying, knowing the woes I had with it before. So here she is. She fits great! So I guess the moral of the story is, if one doesn’t work, giving it a shot later down the line and it just might work. There can be so many factors involved on how something fits when it’s hand made. Everyone has a different sewing method and no two seamstresses sew the same.

Finally my dark blue bra that didn’t leave me feeling blue. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Glad it eventually worked out for you. I totally love bras in dark blue. “ and my bust have grown due to body fat redistribution, perimenopause, and age” oh boy do I relate to this right now! I’ve had to get my Comexims in a larger size even though I haven’t gained any weight. I’m still nervous to get Ewa’s in a size up though since it didn’t work out the last time I tried. However, as you mentioned, sometimes we gotta try and try again ;)

margesimpson Yeeessss!!! My weight hasn’t changed, yet I clearly needed the cup up. I actually tried the BM in 65GG the first time I ever purchased that style. They were definitely too big. So I went with 65G at the time. I held onto them should I ever need them. And I’m glad I did. It gave me the opportunity to reassess fit.
Thankfully all the matching panties I have still fit the same way they always have.
Just when you think you have things figured out, your body goes and changes.

    Didn't fit

The curse of being between two band sizes (30 and 32) is that neither is just right. I was wary of ordering 65GGs for this reason and I was right.

Bm Kleks is a beautiful bra. It sort of looks like a Bm version of the Sf Blueberry? The lace is not the same I don't think, but the bras look very similar.

The cups are your typical Bm cups with stretch lace on top. In this size, it comes with one single vertical seam in the lower part, and horizontal seam on top. The cups feel roomy, *but* this is not a sister size to 70Gs. Neither ... of the three 65GG bras feel like a 70G with a tighter band. There is considerably less room at the wire and the cups overall feel a lot tighter (and closed on top). The compression is very uncomfortable. It's almost as if I need a 65H in order to fit like my 70Gs do in the cup.

Now I know there have been reports of cups running roomier when sister sizing down. I can honestly say that with every sister size down I bought, I felt the opposite. 80E to 75F > the cups were smaller. 75F to 70FF > the cups were considerably smaller. And now 70G to 65GG, the cups are smaller. I'm writing the sizes out for information on the size range at which this happens.

The band though is where my real issue is. I don't know if I'm just not used to it, but it feels very very tight. So that's where my problem is... the 70 band feels too loose and I have to hook it on tightest hookset. This one feels too tight on the loosest. This game just feels unbeatable : ( The band is so tight I feel like the wires at the gore are angling inwards even though it doesn't look like it. It definitely feels that way. I don't see any considerable distortion on the outside.
On the other hand maybe it's the small cups making it feel so tight. I will do the upside down test later to check.

So really that's it. Good news is this bra might fit perfectly in the future if I lose volume.

    • Aw man that's a bummer about the cups :(

Do you have an extender to use for the band? So I guess you'll stick with the 70Gs? Is it possible to take in the band on the 70's to your preferred length?

On a more positive note I do like the colour/pattern on this one ^_^

    • I had Kleks and I think it ran smaller in the cup. I’m sorry it doesn’t fit, it is really pretty.

    • I feel your pain... I'm between cup sizes in EM, and I can never seem to find the right size. Frustrating. Too bad it doesn't fit perfectly... It looks great. I agree with Frazzleberry .. maybe an extender until it breaks in? But if the cups are uncomfortable too, then it's probably not worth keeping.

    • Yeah I'm not sure if an extender would work because the cups are pretty shallow. I'm going to wear it a bit and see. The band is bearable, feels lots more supportive, but the cups my gosh.

      Can't seem to win.

    • Hopefully it will stretch :|

    • Oh, well that's not good if the cups are feeling too small....

    • Oh wow. I’m sorry. It’s so hard! Sister sizing is so inconsistent with her bras, I am told. Though I have heard that it’s still inconsistent with other companies too. Just makes it hard. Sorry to hear about this one not fitting as it is so lovely.

    • It is hard. I literally feel hopeless when it comes to these.

    • I'm going braless

    • In my size ranges, the smaller band sister size was roomier each time. Funny how you have experienced the opposite in your range! Ewa is consistently inconsistent. :-D

It looks good on you, sorry you don't like the fit. :-/

    • I wish the cups were roomier :(
I will say tho when I took of the bra all the wire marks and everything was exactly where it should be, but the compression is pretty uncomfortable.

    • I can understand that one completely.
Sorry honey, I know how uncomfortable an ill fitting cup can be. :-/

Just curious, were one of these bras the one you had Ewa shorten from the original BF sale to sister size it to the size you needed?

    Didn't fit

I originally reviewed this bra in a 65G, http://bra.pe/X2kV/ , but because I feel like it runs the smallest out of all my BM’s over all, I wanted to try to see if I could get a better fit sizing up a cup.

Aaaannnnnddd no. It doesn’t work. The straps on this are way too far apart. Much more uncomfortable than my other two 65GG BM’s I own. This size the band also runs very snug! Mathematically, the band should be fine, but it’s just one of those bands I’m very aware of, if you know what I mean. Tho this cup gives a lovely rounded shape, it also buckles under the cup. If a 65G1/2 was a thing, it’d probably fit me in this bra.
I also love that this has a 3x4 back-band closure. I wish EM would have continued making 65G’s with the 3x4 hooks. Tho this bra has the usual quality you come to expect from EM. This particular one is just a hard fit. It sure is a beautiful bra.

This bra is not owned any more

oh bummer, it's a really pretty colour!!

BraOdyssey It really is. I’ll just continue to wear my 65G on my small boob days. If I ever see an older 65G with the 3X4 hook closer up for sale I’m going to grab it. The pre 2x4 65G’s just fit different than the older ones.
