This is a lovely fit for my daughter who is projected, evenly full, and has wider roots. She also tried it in 36E - Elomi » Amelia Spacer Moulded Bra (8740) which as too small. She is 12 and calls it an old lady bra, lol. I can attest that it is super soft.

Tell her it's Millennial Pink, mmmkay!? hahaha

    • LOL, wendybien!

    • 1

She's a quirky goth so she would have liked it a lot better if it were black and had skulls on it. Or if it were orange or purple or green. Lol.

You can always dye it :)

      That's a great idea!!!

This bra was immediately comfortable. The gore is a little wide for me but doesn't hurt. It's probably the most comfortable bra I have ever put on. I'm thrilled.

I'm going to try a cup down just in case, but I'm keeping this one so I don't lose out on it.

Wires are wide enough, immediate projection at the wires is present but the cup isn't too pointy/deep. The top of the cup and the lace do not cut in. The band isn't any more stretchy than my other 36's but I found this to be most comfortable on the second hook, not sure why.

    Also love the color.

    Edit:
Discovered that I ... could only wear this for a few hours before it became uncomfortable and I had to tear it off. Buuut, there's a lot of play in the wire channels, so I pushed the wires out of the gore, so they're higher on the sides but the stiff part of the gore is lower, then sewed that down to keep them where I want them and it's perfect. I can wear it all day and then be surprised I still have it on when I get ready for bed. I literally forget I'm wearing it now.

This is not a good fit for me at all. The tops of the cups cut in, the bottoms of the cups wrinkle, the wires are too wide (rare for me) so there's extra fabric, the gore twists and sits on tissue.

I don't love this fabric either so I don't think I'm going to try any alternate sizes. The Charley is not for me.

I wanted this to work so bad but it cuts into tissue on the top. I may cup down and see if it's just too big.

The bra is comfortable, the band is firm. It is a good solid construction and fabric. And I think the fabric is very cute.

Wires are wide enough for my slightly wide roots. The gore is a little wide, but it sits low so that helps.

Credit where credit is due: I didn’t HATE this bra like the other two Elomis. I didn’t really like it, either, though. It’s comfortable and supportive and yes, it’s smoothing. It does exactly what it says it will do. It was just clearly made for a woman with a wider frame and wider roots than mine. I might actually like this bra better if I try it in 34FF. As it is, it’s just kind of loose on me around the sides. I won’t be keeping this in this size, but I may exchange it for a 34 band just to see if I like it better that way.

Elomi is now two for two with bras that give me LOL-worthy quadboob. This bra fits me even WORSE than the Elomi Carmen, and that’s quite an accomplishment. It seems to run very small, and the fabric has almost no give. The pattern is cute, and for someone with more firmness and shape of their own to push back against the stretch lace, it might work really well. But for my soft, pendulous rack, this was a big NO.

Oh lawd, no! LMAO! I have nothing nice to say about this bra. Too wide, too shallow. The underwires wrapped almost to my back while the elastic on the stretch lace caps dug into my breasts and gave me comical, sci-fi level quadboob. The part of my breast that did fit into the cup was smashed into a weird pointed grandma shape. This is the worst bra I’ve ever tried on, like hilariously bad. It’s going back.

Very short-waisted, center full, close set, somewhat narrow, immediately projected, shallow apex projection,...

Superb quality bra. After reading glowing reviews from cupandahalf , I decided to order an Elomi. Wow. If you can wear these, I'm jealous.

The fabric is a safari exploding into colorful hibiscus blossoms. From a distance, it seems demure. Up close, it is a gorgeous celebration of color and texture. This pattern should attract those who appreciate unique color and textural combinations.

The four-part, reinforced cup construction provides excellent support. Center projection is outstanding. Immediate projection is excellent. And, the xtra life lycra is especially soft and silky.

Although I need a wire this wide, I don't need nearly 11" of apex projection. Great apex projection for those who need it.

With some alterations, this could be one of my best fitting bras. But, I'm living in wireless models. When sweltering summer heat arrives and won't relent, my full coverage wireless bras just won't work. Perhaps I'll then be motivated to alter this high quality Elomi plunge.

You can't even tell about the apex depth. It really looks lovely on you.

A few alterations and this will be lovely. It is remarkable how a 6" plunge wire feels: so much better.

This is another attempt to find a bra - recommended online by a fitter after I told her my issues. Cup problem again and I think too small on the left as I slightly fall out of the top but as usual the cup on the right is too big.

Updated on Oct 13, 2017 Flag this

    • Hmm I don't think it is too small exactly--just looks like the edge of the cup is a little shallow for you, perhaps.
However, if you've only just recently been refitted, or if this is your first stab at finding a really optimal fit, you may just be overtightening the straps. Almost all people who've spent a lifetime in iffy-fitting bras tend to do so, as it's the only way to get real uplift when the band isn't snug enough. If you loosen straps until they are JUST snug enough to stay on your shoulders, how do the cups fit?

    • This looks much like how most bras fit me. Imagine moving the gore wires closer together, on top of one another at the center. I think you would fill the cups then and no quadding would be present. Bra manufacturers do not yet design bras for close-set and center-full breasts. Most of us must alter them to fit. Sigh.

A good option for the petite-plus market or anyone with narrow shoulders and/or a short torso.

Call me Goldilocks: Freya wires are too narrow, Panache wires are too wide and too long, Fantasie straps are too wide-set, and most American brands are just weird-fitting all over. This Elomi style solves pretty much all of the problems. The cups are much the same width as Fantasie, neither terribly wide nor particularly narrow. The wires are notably shorter than Panache on the sides, so they don't poke me in the armpits. (I'm 5' 2''.) And the straps are set in more than other seamed, full-coverage bras in my size, so ... I have no problems with strap slippage. (I never realized I had "narrow" shoulders until I tried on UK bras.) The Etta has J-hooks on the straps, so it can be converted to a racerback style for more strap security.

    Other things I like:
    1. The elastic sewn into the top edge of the cup. No gaping on my slightly smaller right boob.
    2. The firm side-sling in the cup. Definitely gets my wide-set and splaying girls front and center.
    3. The exceptionally soft fabric on the wire casing.
    4. The wide, flocked elastic on the wings. Minimal rolling on this bandless style.
    5. The sunflower embroidery on the sheer top panel of the cups. I'm gaga for sunflowers, true, but even if you aren't, you'll appreciate that this everyday bra has a little extra femininity.
    6. The width of the gore. (See wide-set and splaying, above.)
    7. The arch in the gore. No digging into my tummy.

    One quibble:
The band is firm at first, though it softens with wear. Until I got this broken in, the gore tended to feel a little scratchy on its bottom edge. (I said it was a quibble.)

EDITED to add: After wearing this for a few weeks and meanwhile trying more bras, I realized that the wire on this is sitting slightly on my breast tissue at the sides. (The 6-inch cup-width at rest can stretch to about 7 inches wide on the body.) Others have noted that the wire on the Etta is narrower than other Elomi models, and so I probably would need a 36FF in this.

I would love to see this style in more colors and patterns in the future.

Pretty true purple in satin with mesh detail. The straps have a nice little pattern, and hook together for a racerback with a J hook. Band fits nicely, gore tacks, but the underwire is super far back! Not too tall, all clear under the arms, just too wide. The part of the cup that is on my boob is mostly filled, but there's a wrinkle on the seam and I don't think my nipples are where they're meant to be in the design. I think I will size down a cup the next time I try Elomi.

I'm always in search of a good soft cup bra so I was very disappointed when this bra didn't fit. It wasn't extremely uncomfortable but the top of the cuts cut into my breasts very slightly, just enough for me to consider keeping it but ultimately enough to decide I didn't like it. Also, the side boning was a bit too long and not flexible enough. It became really irritating after a few hours of wear.

  17. Caitlyn Underwire Side Support Bra (8030)

This is a very utilitarian bra and it's not the most visually stunning bras but it lifts my girls up high and puts them out there. This bra is sturdy and strong!!! My boobs also splay to the sides a bit and this bra brings them into the center of my chest but not overly so. I love the no stretch straps because I feel like they do not slide around as much as stretchy straps do. I have full on the bottom boobs and this bra is like scaffolding for your breasts but it's also very comfortable to me. If you don't like a lot of bra, I don't think you would like this one.

This bra fit, well probably, but the high coverage that it has was a no go for me. I couldn't wear it under a single tank top that I own and I wear those every single day. The bra would show over the top of it. Needless to say if I can't wear it with my current clothes then it's getting returned, which is exactly what happened.

Really lovely bra.. Looks pretty and I think in the right size could give good shape and support. Unfortunately it is about a cupsize or 2 too small. Its hard to tell as the biggest problem is that it has elastic along the top of the cup and this tends to cut in and give a bit of quadding. I am not entirely sure whether this would be eliminated for me in a bigger cup.. I think you probably would not have the problem so much if you are full on bottom. I could also probably get away with a smaller band size, though this would not be unwearable I don't think.
