Hooray! My first bra that fits! Pros: The plunge is comfortable on my close set breasts because the gore sits low, but the lace comes high enough to enclose my entire breast. There is a lot of immediate projection, which is good for projected breasts. My breasts stop right before my arm pits, and the wire encloses the roots just fine. I have problems wire straps digging in to my arm pits, but this bra's straps fit me well. Plus it's super cute!
Cons: The band seems stretchy. I hear this is common in larger bands. The side seam gives the appearance of a bulge on the side, but I think it's sort of an optical illusion. The fabric is laid differently on the side panel so the light hits the fabric differently.
This bra is lovely. The color way is so nice, with the pink lace and mint bottom. It's also very comfortable. I really should go up a cup size, it's a 34HH, and I really need a 34J. The only reason it works is because the lace on the top is extremely stretchy, hiding a too small cup. The profile I get from this is a bit more pointy than I prefer, and the wires are very far back. The very wide (almost to my back) seem to be pretty standard in the Elomi "side support" types. Overall, this bra works, so I keep it in rotation even though I should have a different size.
This bra, which I got used from another Bratabase user, is slightly too big in the cups for me. It holds my boobs just fine and is comfortable and cute, but there is space at the breast wall. I can definitely tell that the bra is too big. However, it works for me for now. It's not uncomfortable yet. It is a little stretched out, but not badly, and I can definitely get some good wear out of it. I suspect that it was snugger when it was newer. Also, I suspect that water is wet. I would recommend to women with identical measurements and breast shape that they size down one cup at least.
My absolute favorite fit of my new bras. The lace top part of the plunge fits the top of my breasts extremely well. However, the bold pattern shows under a lot of tops and it shows in the armpit of two of my dresses.
I felt like I was going out on a limb trying this bra as it is a smaller size than I "should" be wearing according to my measurements. But as I hooked it into place (even before the Swoop & Scoop) I knew. Practically Perfect!
I got it at the Nordstrom Clear the Rack sale, so I was limited on sizes. Otherwise, I would go up 1 cup size. It quadboobs on my bigger boob just enough to want to try larger cup sizes.
The straps dig right where there armpit meets the chest. I can't tell if this is just my little armpit fat getting in the way or an issue with the straps. They feel pretty wide on me - which I have narrow shoulders.
I wish it just wasn't so high contrast in appearance. The hot pink and light blue look fun together, but they really pop under my shirts. I've had to be careful about what I wear over it because every little rose petal shows.
