I'm not sure who decided to make a Pink Princess Plunge two seasons in a row, but I'm glad they did. I like this pink better, I feel like Elle Woods would have worn something like this.

Curvy Kate really needs to work on their quality. The elastic in this bra is too narrow and stretchy to take the force necessary to hold up large breasts. It rolls and digs into my fleshy body, requiring adjustments.

Cup is projected, narrow, and short-root friendly. Fans of Florence who want or need a lower gore will like this shape. I think this gore height is as good as it's gonna get for my cleavage. I don't think a lower gore would be supportive (even if it were manufactured) and this doesn't dig into the touching part unless I'm leaning one way or another. Asymmetry is noticeable, but not as obvious as with the Flamingo colorway.

Thanks for reviewing both colorways. I also found flamingo to be a bit small. Do you mind posting pics of this new color? I'd love to see the fit and color differences.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been out of town. I'll add some when I get back home in a few days.

I never write bra reviews, but this one is so amazing, I had to. Curvy Kate definitely changed their fit for the better. It's even better than the redesigned bras from the last season (Portia and Princess). The wires are U shaped, which suits me wonderfully. It keeps my boobs up front and lifted. No upside down 7 with this bra. It's so pretty and sheer in every size. The support is better than non sheer, which is amazing. My usual size is 38G, but I got it in 36GG so the band won't stretch out too fast.

This doesn't fit. It doesn't quiiiite lie flat at the gore, the wire covers some breast tissue at the side, and the top of the cups gape at the sides. For reference I am, I think, wide rooted, close set, centre full and projected and it's just all wrong.

Nevertheless it's surprisingly comfortable, at least for the time spent in a hot tub. The visible fit issues are camouflaged by the gauzy wrap which encourages it to conform to my breast at the sides and covers the cup wrinkling at the bottom. The wire that is juuuust sitting on my breast tissue under my arm doesn't press in so much when supported by the top of the cup fitting closer once wrapped with the scarf. I can tolerate it for a few hours.

My husband likes it and was willing to pay for a bikini that I refused to buy full-price due to the poor fit. I will not be looking into the luxe strapless bra this is based on for a daytime bra.

The neon pink is more orange-y in person than in stock photos. The ribbon is slack, like in other Princess models.

Smaller in the cup than the newer pink colorway. See my review of it here. http://bra.pe/XXTo/ My asymmetry is very obvious in this bra. Not a keeper.

  5. Atlantis Halterneck Plunge Tankini (CS3156)

Thank goodness I lost a little weight before I actually used this tankini. When I first measured it I barely got it to stretch to 35.5" and trying it on was an exercise in patience and care to not pop seams. The band on this runs tight, which makes sense given you only have the one clasp position and swim wear expands when wet. Bordering on uncomfortable while dry, I figured in the water I'd be fine.

When I put it back on a few months later I had less trouble, getting into it. Next, a completely new experience for me, getting used to wearing a halterneck. Over a ... few hours I realized I didn't have to have it tied to absolute maximum tension, the band is supportive enough and the ties shape the cups while providing minor support. Halternecks aren't perfect tho'; six hours or so the spot behind my neck does get a little sore. But I figure that's a plenty acceptable amount of time for wear of a swimsuit. The foam cups don't add a ton of bulk while also giving shape; I can't speak to hiding nipples as mine don't tend to make themselves known often.

Bought the high waist briefs to go with this one; higher coverage than your average swim bottom but not as high as say Elomi Isis or Panache Britt, more like the Freya Bondi. I dunno about you but I kinda need all the help I can get when it comes to tummy support/coverage. The tankini length is a bit on the shorter side, which works for me just fine. But occasionally I did have to tug it down under the water in a self-conscious action.

Really what I'd like to see is less of the plastic clasp in swimwear. While I'm sure it's a concern to eliminate the possibility of rust, with only one setting the suit wears out faster (tho' I imagine your average wearer only gets 1-2 seasons out of use anyway), and if you want to adjust the height position of the band you have to be super careful so as not to release the clasp, which is the real annoyance.

Overall I'm super happy with this tankini, annoyance with the clasp aside.

  6. Emily Balcony Bra (CK5001)

I was surprised to find this was a snug band, after the super stretchy Princess. I was also really pleased that the shape I get is very rounded. Not at all like the square-boob i get with Princess. Not orb-round ala Panache, but a really nice, lifted rounded shape that is somewhere in between that & the pointy Freya shape, leaning more toward Panache. If that makes any sense.

I have the navy & blush color way & it is very elegant; a great alternative to the same old black bra. I found this very comfy to wear all day at work, on par with my go-to Freya Jolie, perhaps even a smidge comfier. I'm glad I didn't give up on Curvy Kate, though I don't think it's worth full retail US price. I bought mine for $25 via belle-lingerie on eBay. That's where I seem to end up finding a lot of my UK bras. BraStop hasn't had much in my size lately.

I like the way this one is stretchy and flexible enough to not really feel restricted in movement. The underwire is very comfortable, besides the fact it's a wider set so it does also poke my armpit underneath some. It doesn't rub or stab painfully however so it's tolerable for all day wear. The fabric of the cups is very thin and the mesh over the top of the cup does make me question how long it will last with daily use, but it's still holding shape so far. The straps aren't too wide, they actually sit at a preferable spot on my shoulders, and the band is also snug and comfortable as well. Overall this has been a great bra, and I will probably invest in some more because the price isn't too awful.

The quality of this bra is quite nice & it would make an amazing bra for seduction time. Unfortunately, despite being close to my size on the label, the bra doesn't fit me. I went up to one size for the band as Curvy Kate's bands are not really stretching but the main problem is due to the shape of the cups. The cups are too shallow for my shape of breasts (Pendulous & FOB breasts). In consequent, I have a important quadboob effect at the cups top. So the comfort & appearance aren't there! What a shame...

The lace seems itchy and somewhat bulky feeling at first. After some wear and washing, those feelings fade away for me and I don't notice it much. I find the appearance of the bra itself to be very pretty, but maybe a bit gaudy. The 36GG fits very nicely, not sitting on tissue, hugging my root, gore tacking, straps doing work, and decent lift. It does slide out of my IMF a little, but I have yet to find a bra that doesn't slide at least a quarter to half inch out and it just doesn't bother me at this point. I've tried a 36G in this style and increasing the cup size to GG allows my tissue to sit in the cup without sliding to the middle.

I wore this bra for about 6 hours the day it came in the mail and forgot I was wearing it when I got ready for bed! I have a short torso and have problems finding underwire that don't poke my armpits and this bra is perfect for me (but most of CK's balcony and plunge underwires work for me). The stitching across the top of the cup doesn't dig in, which is a feat for a plunge since I have very, very soft tissue and full on bottom. The gore is perfect for close-set if you can fit about one finger between; none of the underwire sits ... on breast tissue. I expect the band to stretch after the first few wears and I'll have to move from the outside hooks to the middle/inside hooks and probably should have sister-sized down from 36GG to 34H to keep the same band support longer, but I only found this out after wearing the CK Princess Balcony for a couple days while I waited for this bra to arrive. It's not so much a deal-breaker that I would return it since it's a very comfortable bra and my favorite fit so far. The decorative lines on the bras will show through very thin (like super thin slub, etc) fabrics, but does not show through on normal t-shirts or tight camisoles.

Love the light material especially with the heat rising this time of year! The wide, flat elastic under the wires means there’s no lace to dig in. Unfortunately, it’s just not a great fit for me but it’s a lovely bra with plenty of immediate projection.

Super cute one piece with plenty of cup depth and double thick fabric. It’s comfortable!! Unfortunately, I have a very long torso and the straps just don’t quite lengthen enough, even in the halter top arrangement. A short torso or normal torso with lower sitting breasts would fit great.

    Hasn't set fit

I ordered this bra in both a 36GG & 36H because I was thinking that the cups ran small. The band might be a bit large after wearing it I think. I only just received it so I can't confirm yet. I might have been better in a 34H, but I'm going to try it out. This bra gives a much more rounded shape that I'm use too, nothing wrong with that, it's just different than my go to brand of Panache. There is one thing that worries me and it's the wrinkling on the cups near the bottom center of the bra. I think that means the ... cup is too small, but when I try the 36H the wrinkling goes away but then there is too much room at the top of the cups. It's always an adventure!

After wearing this a bit more, I think there just isn't enough projection at the bottom of the cups which is what is causing the wrinkling. The rounded shape is nice, but I really feel like it makes me look smaller than I am. And it's more side to side than up in front. Once I buy some more bras that I like I think this 36GG will also become listed.

I think it is tts. I usually wear 34h/36gg and this fits well in the cups. It is quite open on the top, so more suitable for fot boobs. The band is soft, stretch. If you are between size, it would be better to opt a smaller size.

The color is darker than the official pictures a little bit, still pretty though.

This gives a rounded shape like cleo bras do. But the gore and wires are shorter than cleo's. If you are short rooted and want such a rounded profile, this is just for you lol.

This bra is very weird on me. I have a lot of inner fullness, and inner immediate projection, as well as a short root that's even. The wires were fine, the bra was comfy, but I sorta drooped in it, and wasn't getting a lot of lift from it. I also was spread out and there was a definite depression on my breast so that it looked like a 7 looking down out it. Straight out on the sides and the long end was the apex to the gore. Straps were long, the lace wasn't scratchy at all and all in all a very cute bra. Just not good for my shape.

First bra I have owned that actually has the gore sit against my sternum; didn't know that was actually possible with my breast size. It gives great support, except the top of the cup feels a little loose b/c I don't fill the entire top part up, and the padding makes it show. Also makes my boobs feel a little pointier than I'm used to, but that's probably because I'm not used to padded bras.

Biggest issue is the stiff lace detail along the edges of the bra. At first, it's not a problem, but it's stiff and uncomfortable enough to leave angry red marks by the end of the day and gets itchy and sore. Using this as a "going out" bra and not an every day bra.
