  1. Portia Balcony Bra (CK4001)

The underwires and cups were finally wide enough, and although it worked in general for shallow breasts, the upper cup was still not filled out completely.

Technically it fits but it really doesn’t The shape is just off. I’ve tried several Curvy Kates now and they just don’t work for me.

The center gore doesn't lie flat. I am already wearing it on the tightest hook. It's a pretty bra, good support

The band is too tight and too narrow. The straps are too close together at the back meaning they pull inwards. It is a good fit in the cup and really really pretty!

I really wanted to like this bra. It is a nice, neutral color, and I liked the small jewel hanging along the gore. However, I found this bra to cut into my breast tissue on the top, while also gapping at the apex. This bra has more apex projection than I need, and may work for very full on bottom breasts.

Comfy. The band does stretch out a bit, but not as quickly as some - and to be fair, I've been wearing this thing daily for quite a while. The straps slip a bit sometimes, but I have narrow shoulders and fiddling with the length helps.

The underwire really digs in on the bottom. Straps too far apart for me. Going to give this a little time to get accustomed to it, but not very happy with it.

  8. Smoothie Moulded Bra (CK2401)

I should hate everything about this bra, and yet I don't! I love it!

First, this bra has crazy lift and forward projection. I feel like I have Joan Holloway's boobs in this bra. It's a bit more of a vintagey shape, but I like it! No fear for those who want a really round shape, though - first, it still gives nice roundness on the sides, and second, I've found that after several wearings it's started to conform more to the shape of my breast and look a bit rounder from the side.

Second, the moulded foam is RIGID! I usually like a soft memory ... foam, but this is a much more rigid foam that actually does sound a little like foam when it's squished. I usually hate that, but with this bra I don't care! I like that it's a really structured bra - sometimes you want that, and people in larger sizes need it. The band is firm, but doesn't feel too tight.

I've heard that this bra is better for full on top breasts, and I can see that, but it also works really well for my full on bottom breasts. I only get a little gaping on my smaller side, and even then, the bra is cut in such a way that the top egde is all but invisible under clothes. This bra makes my breasts look and feel great.

The bra is gorgeous but I bought it before I found my "actual" size, which is closer to a 32 H in curvy kate so obviously the bra does not fit. I spill out every where, my only real complaint that I can not attribute to size is the fact that the band stretches to a full band size larger, so beware.

This bra is *so close* to being perfect. The wing height is perfect - no armpit poking. The underwire isn't too wide, so it's not traveling to my back. The gore sits right against my sternum. The only problems are that the cups are too big (which can be solved) and the straps are just a bit too far apart (I'm not sure if this can be solved).

The bra cups are sheer, with a bit of lining. The pictures I've seen online make it look as though the bra has more lining to it than it does. I'm accustomed to much thicker cups, so that may take a bit of getting used to.

I'm going to try a 36E and see if that solves at least the cup problem.

I usually wear 34FF to 36F, and I'd heard that the sizing on the Tease Me was a bit off. I meant to get a 34FF, since I have a CK Smoothie in that size, but I ended up seeing a Tease Me 36F in black/wine on sale so I snapped it up. Surprisingly, it fits me just about perfectly. If I went for the 34FF I think I'd have a bit more coverage (the cut of the balconette ends up being quite low) and get more wear out of the bra as the band stretches, but other than that this is one of the ... best-fitting bras I've ever owned. I have relatively wide, bottom-heavy breasts, and this bra pushes them up rather spectacularly - I can see how ladies who are heavier on top might find they need to go up a cup or two. It's surprisingly comfortable to wear around all day, too! The only problem is when I bend too far over I get the feeling I might slide out. Also the lace trim at the top of the cup can get a bit itchy, and tends to show through tight clothing. But it's such a pretty bra!

All in all I LOVE this bra and I'm thinking of getting another. Might try the 34FF especially since I've heard the newer colourways run even smaller in the cup.

Like other curvy kate bras I would say this one is becoming looser on the band, but it is very comfortable! There is a little bit of gap at the top of the cups, but there is a very smooth line under clothes. Personally this is my favourite of all my bras (I own 3) which I wear as everyday bras. Comfortable but a little bit sexy. What's not to like!?

I have shallow, bottom heavy breasts and after coming to grips with the fact that Curvy Kates non padded bras simply do not work with my shape, I decided to give the Showgirl line a try. I picked up the Tease Me in Cherry and this cut is pretty much perfect for me. The cups are very shallow, but quite wide. This is excellent for me, but those with narrower roots, top heaviness, or lots of projection will probably have issues with this fit.

The band is a bit stretchy. Not so much that I would need to size down to a 34, but if you prefer a very tight band, you'll want to consider sizing down. The wires on this are also quite a bit taller on the sides than on the non-padded Curvy Kates. I prefer this, as I have a long torso, and boobs that always want to escape out to the side.
