This bra did not fit at all. I bought it when I was still working out my bra size, so the band is too big, but it is also very large for a 30. The band is very stretchy and I'd recommend sizing down if you can. The cups were also too small and I had to size up two cups to get the right fit.
It's a difficult bra to find the right fit in, but it's worth persevering as it is very comfortable in the right size. The cups are quite shallow, as I typically find in Curvy Kate bras and this results in a minimised profile.
See my 28GG review for what I thought in of the correct size.
I've no less than 4 Emily bras, so you can tell it's one of my favourites! The black, white, and red (Flame) I have in 30F, and they all fit excellent. Nice and round, and giving a good cleavage. Fits my closely set breasts perfectly! Very comfortable to wear, too, with no digging in and no itching. Some of the prettiest bras i own, highly recommended!
I have the Chocolate/Aqua colour in 30E, and the cups are a little bit too small, but not more so than I'm using it right now. I've added separate measurements for that bra.
My larger right boob pulled the gore into my right IMF through sheer effort of trying to fit all my breast tissue into the bra. The shoulder straps were too wide for me, causing chafing around the armpit area. I also had in cup-quadboobing happening between the mesh and stretchy lace portion of the bra.
The wires seemed to be on the narrower side and the band is a nice tight 30- maybe to tight if you measure as a true 30, but a nice fit for my 29 underbust.
This bra is just a design faux pas which also happens to not fit my shape at all. It has a soft microfiber fabric on the outside but underneath, it has slightly scratchy mesh. This wouldn’t be much of an issue except both fabrics have their own seams and they do not exactly overlap so I end up with not one but two sets of bulky seams that make my boobs look lumpy underneath clothing. The edge of the cup is supposed to lie flat against skin but the two fabrics pull against each other so it’s raised (for an even lumpier look!). The cups are too shallow at the bottom for me and the wires are too wide, meaning I simultaneously do not fill the cup AND quad out at the center. Oh, and the gore literally bruised my sternum. I will keep this bra to throw it on when I need to run to the store and nothing else. I’m just glad I got it on sale!
First bra that fits okay in years! Gore tacks, band doesn't ride up, cups don't cut in. Sucks that I had to have it imported because there are literally no brands that carry anything outside 34B-38D in my country. My only issue with it is that the straps are quite wide set and the cups are also slightly wide at the top, which rubs against my armpit and can be slightly uncomfortable when I'm moving a lot. I also get a very slight gap/wrinkling where the strap meets the cup, I think the stretch lace is maybe expecting more upper fullness than what I have. Looking straight down I get a slightly pointy or triangular shape that may not be my favorite but to be honest I think it's one of those things that only I can tell because I'm the one wearing it - looking in the mirror with a shirt on, I can't notice that at all.
I did not expect Curvy Kate's band to be so comfortable! It's just right, and this is my first time trying a cut and sew bra, as well as a half cup. I really like the feel and fit. I think this is the first bra where the underwire really fit, meaning its not too far down and I feel like it has more projection than my Cleo @Neve and Freya @Spotlight. That said it is more U shaped than I need, since I'm FOT, but it still works. And that leads me to my one fit issue, I settle ...to the bottom as the day goes on, and then the lace doesn't lay flush. A cookie in each side might fix that I suppose. Over all, I'm really happy with this bar! Its soo pretty! And I will be on the look out for the Tease Me next. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
UPDATE:
This bra turned out to be too big in the cup at the time, but now it's my only bra that fits. And even then the settling in as the day goes on is annoying. Cookies just make me pop out of the top lol. If I am wearing a t-shirt I get quad-boob on the right side. Also the gore isn't tacking to me like it used too. Of I pinch the gore together it fixes the tacking and gaping of the left side. Doesn't seem to change the right. Maybe I should alter it? I really love this bra. Read more 157 more words
This bra was closer to fitting comfortably than the other 30 band bra I tried. The cups were too wide for me, and their shape didn't work great on me–– I didn't fill them out very well. The gore was too high, too. However, it's very well made, and I like the fabric a lot.
This bra fits me great, except that I have to scoop and swoop a LOT. Even though it stretches to a full 30" and I can put more than two fingers under, it feels very snug. No longer fits...sadly.
This is the most comfortable bra I've found so far, although I bought the band too big. I will definitely buy it again in a smaller band, one cup size up. No longer fits.....sadly.
Very pretty and comfortable. The netting does wrinkle a little on me, but I believe I'm more shallow than projected. However, this bra makes me look VERY projected, and "erases my splay." No longer fits....
Cute bra. Not so sure I would like the lamination on the inside, but I can't keep this one because the netting at top crinkles too much on my somewhat shallow breasts.
I think I am mostly shallow with some projection. The vertical seam and padded cup really work well for me. I like that the wires are wide. Also, it's a very attractive bra.
Same story as the 32E I tried - slight in-cup quadding from the seam running across the breast from the gore to the strap. Visible through stretch top. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Band is tight, true to CK sizing, so is probably a good option for people with 28" underbust.
I am center full, relatively even when supported. Soft tissue. Average to wide roots - tissue goes towards underarm a bit.
I bought this size because it was on sale, and the band fits great but it's too small in the cup. Also the stretch lace at the top balloons out, giving me a six-boob effect. I almost want to keep it until I can find something better, but just wearing it for 2 minutes makes me crazy. I can tolerate a cup size or two bigger but not smaller apparently. Trying it on again it's not as disappointing as the first time but not great. Will be returning it unfortunately. It's not painful or itchy but I'm on a mission to find ABTF ;P
This bra is too tight for me so I can’t really write a good review on it. I like the minimalistic design. The beige is not a pink undertone but a browner one. I’d love to try it in a band size up. Cup measurements are spot on for me including the lower gore.
