I usually wear a 28G (band too loose in them, so my size is a 26GG). I was disappointed that this didn't fit, as, according to the website, a 55J had the same cup size. Will return to Wellfitting and exchange for a 55K.
Fit: Wires are lovely and narrow, the only bra I've tried so far that has wires narrow enough for me! Overall construction: High quality, all the elastic and stuff was very firm (so I would think it would last for a while).
Comfort: It was a little uncomfortable in the cups, but that was purely due to me spilling out of the cups and ...jiggling around More comfort: band was firm but didn't dig into my 25.5inch ribcage (which doesn't have much fat on it). Straps were wide and comfortable Wires were also very comfortable, no digging in at the sides
Design: the bra is darker than expected, or maybe my skin's lighter than I thought! The lace on the upper cup was more prominent than expected, but didn't show through a t-shirt. Comexim Geisha plunge set size 55J which equates UK 26GG and EM PL 55H + M knickers which equates UK 8/10. The following 3 photos feature my custom made bra in a 55 band featuring reduced cups. This is an exquisitely constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This stunning style is comprised of a lightly padded plunge cut in the lower cup style. The wires are the narrowest that I have ever encountered whilst the cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. This style features a beige knitted cotton fabric lining the interior of the cups, whilst the exterior is covered ...in a delicate black lace overlay featuring pale pink embroidery and a floral pattern whilst the upper edges of the cups are covered in black lace. The detailing is flat and not visible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 2 hooks.
I should clarify that Comexim do not currently have size labels available for this custom size. Therefore Anna, the company owner, always uses a size tag printed for another order and carefully hand prints the "55J" size on the tag. I can confirm that all of my orders in size 55J are consistently presented in this manner. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request!
The cup width measures 13cm from tip to tip of the underwire. The cup depth measures 23cm inside of the cup, from each end of the underwire across the deepest line of the cup. I have measured the band as follows. Unstretched in a resting position from clasp to clasp measures exactly 48cm. Fully stretched to the maximum length from clasp to clasp measures exactly 66cm. It would be ideal for you to compare these measurements against one of your newer best fitting bras, as this will be the best method in determining if this will be a good fit for you. I've found that having two slightly different sets of alterations for one Comexim order increases the chances of mistakes. For this order, I requested cookie pockets for the padded plunges, but not for the unlined plunge. But I received them anyway! Similar things have happened when I ordered padded plunges and 3HCs together. So now, I just stick to one set of alterations per order. Saves me stress.
Reduced cups 2cm, straps moved in 2cm, reduced gore 1cm, and cookie pockets. But I think they also just made the wrong size, since this fits more like a 55HH but is also narrower? I never got around to emailing them about it, but to all the first time Comexim shoppers—they're usually really great at handling issues.

In general this bra is a good fit except for the band being too tight. I'm really a 28 band but I sister sized down in Comexim plunges at their recommendation to get a tacking gore. It worked but then the band is too tight for comfort so I'm using an extender. I can wear it without the extender but after a few hours the underwire hurts my ribs. But it's nice to have a bra that is lined and doesn't show under thinner clothing.

I am a 28E/F and have implants with a lot of projection. None of my gores actually tack and I'm starting to think it's just my anatomy. But there are certain bras that come very very close and this is one of them. I sister sized down from a lined Comexim plunge and this actually fit better despite being a 26 band. It's not too tight and tacks better than my 60HH lined plunge.

Compared to my 55J Adele (reduced cups 2cm, straps moved in the default amount, reduced gore 1cm): The Basic has a little less depth, almost 0.5cm. I guess the straps make a big difference (or my measuring)? Ideally, I'd want that extra depth AND the straps moved in, but this is still almost perfect. Even with less depth, I don't feel squished at all because of the shape.
Ordered with cookie pockets and 1cm extra depth at the wire (unsure if done). It's about 0.5cm deeper at the apex than my unaltered 55J Basic. Whether it's the extra depth at the wire or at the apex, this isn't pushing me out of the cup like the Basic. It's not the most perfect fit if I'm being picky—I think I'm just a half size right now—but it's good enough to keep, and I love the bird print.
This should work according to the depth measurement, but it's just not quite there. It pushes up/presses my breast tissue and creates some slight quadding on top.
Edit: it's actually not that bad when my size isn't fluctuating during my cycle, but still a push-up cleavage fit, which isn't always what I want. I think the plunges suit me more and possibly accommodate the size changes better, but getting all the customizations to work out is a trial.
This might fit better with extra depth at the wire (I've heard that the 3HC is good for immediate depth, but in this size range, I don't think that's true). ...I've seen other reviews with this alteration; emailed Comexim to confirm they do it but haven't heard back yet.
I've been trying to make the 3HC work for me so I could get something unaltered. But it seems like I can't avoid customizations.
Update: So I actually ended up asking about the plunges, not the 3HCS, but they confirmed that they can add 1cm of depth at the wire to the plunges.
Update 2: I decided to keep this since it's not the worst. Trying a 55J Ardea next, since sometimes I think the Basics run just a little small and a 55K might be a little too big without customizations (remembering that 60HH/28G I tried which was too tall/large overall). My order of reduced cup plunges with extra depth at the wire was pretty hit or miss. I don't recommend this alteration since it's hard to know if it was done. Read more 151 more words
I love this bra so much. The band is comfy on basically all of the hooks depending on how snug I want it a particular day, although it's quite firm. It doesn't have much stretch at all, so sometimes the bottom right-side elastic of the band will dig into me by the end of the day, but it's not bad enough that it makes me chafe or bleed. The wires are a perfect width for me, and the cups are a perfect depth and height (thanks to the lowered cup alteration). The gore soft tacks on me, which I'm not concerned with because it doesn't affect how supported ...I feel in this bra. The straps are a good width/placement on me (they may have been moved in, but the previous owner can't remember for sure). The straps are also fully removable, which I don't think I've seen in a Comexim bra before, so that might've been a requested alteration as well. The design of this bra is also lovely, with the black mesh overlay over the beige base (nude for me) and the oriental-inspired flowers. This is a lovely bra (a bit more of a dramatic plunge than some of the Comexim I've tried). The beige on it is warmer and a bit darker than on the basic. The cups are just a tad too tall for me and I'm confident that with a cup reduction 55J would fit. I think most women in this size are going to want the cup reduction. The band on this is actually fairly stretchy. I was surprised that it stretches to around 27 inches, so don't plan on it running small. I like the fact that this is an updated basic and if it had fit me I would have kept it.
I love this bra. I actually emailed Anna to see if she could still make one in a 60HH. It looks like it might be the older shape reminiscent of the Mint Sorbet I had. Regardless, I much prefer the aesthetics of this bra (and the shade of beige) over the Basic. Of course I'm late to the Comexim party and a lot of the "plain" bras of theirs are discontinued. It's only available on the site in 60J now. Guess I'll find out.
This bra was too small for me all over. I normally wear 30FF - 30:8 size in Freya , Cleo
The cups were about one cup too small, the gore would not tack for about 0.5cm, if I pressed it towards me I'd get spilling on the middle.
I could barely close the band around me, but I cannot breathe once I'm in it.
I wanted to try Comexim, but nobody was selling on my normal Comexim size 60HH but I found this sister size available so I went for it.
By the end of the day, the wires hurt because they were too narrow for me. I find that Ewa Michalak bras have the right cup width for me (padded 65G/30:9 for non padded 65FF/30:8)
