This is a pretty bra and it's comfy too. The band in nice and snug and straps are easy to adjust. The cups are very tall for my short breasts, though, so there is a bit of empty space near the straps, and also a small gap near the gore on my smaller breast. You can't really see it through clothes, though. The straps are a bit widely placed for my narrow frame, so they are in my armpits a bit. Still, it feels pretty good and gives a nice, rounded and projected profile. I like it.
I love this bra! It fits like my Brav Satine (30H), is gorgeous, and provides a great shape.
-Update May 2015 - I still love this bra, though it's a tad small for me now. I never wear it without an extender and that helps mostly, but I could use a bit more cup room also these days. The top of the cups now have a bit more of a tendency to fold or crease an inch or so away from the center gore, which smooths out under clothing but is a note. I did have to reinforce the sewing attaching the hooks and eyes to the band from when I was wearing it without an extender (too tight!) but that's an easy hand-sewing fix and it's held up wonderfully.
Carmen is such a gorgeous bra! This is a sturdy seamed cup with a red-purple fabric overlain with black lace for the 3-part cup, and a solid black band.
It should fit someone in the 26FF range (or 28F, maybe with an extender till the band stretches out more), who has narrow roots, some immediate projection, and FOB-even breasts. The custom lower cup height is ideal for persons who have high-set breasts, narrow shoulders, or a petite frame.
My current best fit is Ewa M in 60F CH,CHP. My main problem with comexim bras are that I have too much immediate projection, and my breasts are too heavy for the cup, so it pushes the wire down. My breasts aren't very self-supportive, and tend to weight the cup down.
I'm in love with Comexim! Awesome fit. The cup is slightly too small on my bigger boob, but it did not bother me enough to get an exchange. The wires don't poke in my arms, the projected shape is lovely, and I get a really nice cleavage with it. The quality is very good and even after numerous washes it still looks brand new.
Comexim Carmen plunge set size 55J which equates UK 26GG and EM PL 55H + S shorty which equates UK 6/8. The following 3 photos feature my custom made bra in a 55 band featuring reduced cups. This is an exquisitely constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This stunning style is comprised of a lightly padded plunge cut in the lower cup style. The wires are the narrowest that I have ever encountered whilst the cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. This style features black cotton lining the interior of the cups, whilst the exterior is covered in a delicate ...black lace overlay featuring floral embroidery covering a luxurious red satin base whilst the upper edges of the cups are covered in black lace. The detailing is flat and not visible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 2 hooks.
I should clarify that Comexim do not currently have size labels available for this custom size. Therefore Anna, the company owner, always uses a size tag printed for another order and carefully hand prints the "55J" size on the tag. I can confirm that all of my orders in size 55J are consistently presented in this manner. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request!
The cup width measures 13.2cm from tip to tip of the underwire. The cup depth measures 22cm inside of the cup, from each end of the underwire across the deepest line of the cup. I have measured the band as follows. Unstretched in a resting position from clasp to clasp measures exactly 52cm. Fully stretched to the maximum length from clasp to clasp measures exactly 68cm. It would be ideal for you to compare these measurements against one of your newer best fitting bras, as this will be the best method in determining if this will be a good fit for you. I finally got my Comexim bras in today, a Laura and a Carmen! They're one cup size too big but so beautiful. The Carmen seems to fit a lot like a Freya Deco - the cups are moulded and similarly cavernous. Wires are narrow (like Freya balconettes). It gives a wonderful rounded shape. The lace is soft and I could not see it underneath a tight t-shirt, except where it wrinkled a bit where it was too large for my smaller boob. The band is comfortably tight - firm but stretchy and fits comparably to my other 28 band bras. This bra will fit like a Freya 28H would.
