    Fits

This review is for the A/W 2014 Raspberry colour. I think this is the fifth Marcie I've owned, and each one has been a different size from the last. I guess I must like them, because I keep buying them!

A lot less wrinkling than I saw with the Lucy, very little in fact. The cups are filled well at the bottom and the lace at the top edge doesn't wrinkle, unless I stop pulling my shoulders back and relax my posture, in which case it gapes out along the top. It might run a bit high on me, as my nipples hit well in the bottom opaque portion of the cup instead where the seams meet. This bra is close but I just don't love it, even though it's adorable with that little button at the gore. The pink is a great shade, too, not baby pink but not hot pink either.

Red Marcie. Wires were too short on the sides for me. So I returned it.

    Used to fit

I own the Marcie in aquamarine, and I like it. It fits true to size, gives a nice uplifted and roundes shape even to boobs on the smaller end of the size spectrum.
Also, it has wide wires and it's open on top, so it usually works well for wide root shallow boobs!

    However, I have two complaints:
    1) Even after several months of wear, and bending the wires, the center gore is stabbing me! It hurts pretty badly and leaves red marks and I cannot wear the Marcie for two days in a row.
    2) The underwires are a 3/4 inch shorter than the wire channels. They move around in the channels, and you get an odd look either at the side wings or at the gore, because the channels are not filled completely and fold over.

    Fits

Like the red 30D Marcie some months back, this just fit me perfectly the moment I put it on. Marcie seems to be my magic bra model https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />.
The colour came out completely wrong in my pics, unfortunately. My camera made it look like a Brooke, whereas Marcie's aquamarine is really a teal, or a dark turquoise.
Edit: I've also tried on a pink Marcie in this size, and it didn't fit me as well as the aquamarine Marcie. I think the pink cups are slightly smaller.

This review is for the red version; my other Marcie is aquamarine. Oddly enough, the red is constructed differently! The underwire is a full 2cm shorter on this version so some breast tissue escapes out the sides. The fit is identical otherwise.

I had some quadboobing in my 30D Marcie, so I thought I would try the next cup size up. It is wonderful! Lace lies flat, cups are completely filled and don't gape, and my breasts are brought front and center really nicely. It is an unusually flattering unlined option for the smaller size range.

The band is firm, but I'm actually not sure anymore if I'd suggest sizing up -- the painful gore is a big distractor that just makes the band feel tight. I measure 28" loose, 26" snug and I think I'd do fine with the 28E with a little wire bending. It's very difficult now to find a 28E in aquamarine or red, so I'll stick with this one and experiment with the yellow version the day she is released... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I had such high hopes for Marcie, but it's just wrong for me in every way https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The 30DD is too small, but whereas I can get away with it in the 30DD Lucy, the Marcie's wires dig in painfully both underarm and at the gore. I also have terrible quadboob. But the 30E, whilst perfect in the wire width, does nothing for me in the cup, except flatten me out and give me a most un-Cleo-like east-west appearance. I might give the 32DD a try to see if that helps, but as the band and wire placing is fine on the 30E, I'm not optimistic.

    Such a shame, pretty Marcie https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

In this bra there are two fit issues for me: I've adjusted the straps as long as they will go, and they're still very snug. Secondly, the wires are not long enough/they don't come up high enough along the sides of my body. This causes some tissue to spill into my armpit, but it's minor compared to many bras that I've tried. This bra looks great; I love the fabric and lace, and I appreciate its simplicity without all the frills.
