And it fits you great and looks pretty! It's such an awesome feeling isn't it? I am 48 and it took me until 47 to get the right size bra. Now I can't get enough...LOL

Ahhh that color is great on you!! Looks good!

I think the black color way runs SLIGHTLY tight in the band, as the band on this feels too firm and I need an extender. However, the Marcie remains a classic for me (since I keep buying it...) and it gives a great shape. The only thing I would caution you on is the gore, which invariably hurts me.

I just had to say THANK YOU for your review of the Marcie! It's a beautiful bra and I so wanted to try it, but after also reading on your blog about your shape.... I am very glad I didn't spend the money. We are basically opposites :(

Anyhow thanks again for your awesome reviews! I plan to check out more of them to see if I can find anything that did NOT work for you lol

    • LOL well if you ever want to see other Marcie reviews, I have had approximately 30,000 Marcies! If you need some bras that I will tell you did NOT work for me, I would definitely suggest checking out the Claudette Dessous, which I want so badly but just never works on my shape!

Even if the size is the good one, it hurts me a little. I also have the cleo Lucy in the same size and it is very comfortable ! So i can't understand why it hurts.

    • Where does it hurt exactly?
It is helpful to be more specific (:

My own Marcie hurt at the center gore - because it was a bit too high and wide, digging in to my sternum. I used pliers to (carefully) bend the gore outwards a little. Made it much more comfortable. Hope this may help for you as well!

    • The pink Marcie runs tight, as it's one of the older colorways and Cleo used to make their bands tighter back then.
Try using a non-stretchy extender until the band is broken in a little.

    • Thank you for the informations ! :) Now i understand. I feared that the size was not good. Yes it hurts at the center gore it's exactly the point.
Thanks for the solutions. i will try pliers and buy an extender. :)

    • bracrastination is it just the band that runs small or the cups as well on the pink Marcie?

    • Cups as well Prettyncharmeuse

This gave me hope that I am one step closer to finding ABTF. Unfortunately, this was not the one.

bottom half is great. Top lace is a bit looser and the wrinkles run side to side. Meaning too closed on top? idk

The spot where the straps meet the cup pushes my tail of spence a bit. Can get pokey.

Fun pink/orange colorway, but the wrong shape for me -- seems to be made for full-on-top girls, and mine are full-on-the-bottom. Other than that, great fit, with that nice gentle lift-to-center that Cleos always give me.

This review is for the A/W 2014 Raspberry colour. I think this is the fifth Marcie I've owned, and each one has been a different size from the last. I guess I must like them, because I keep buying them!

A lot less wrinkling than I saw with the Lucy, very little in fact. The cups are filled well at the bottom and the lace at the top edge doesn't wrinkle, unless I stop pulling my shoulders back and relax my posture, in which case it gapes out along the top. It might run a bit high on me, as my nipples hit well in the bottom opaque portion of the cup instead where the seams meet. This bra is close but I just don't love it, even though it's adorable with that little button at the gore. The pink is a great shade, too, not baby pink but not hot pink either.

Red Marcie. Wires were too short on the sides for me. So I returned it.
