It would fit a hell of a lot better, if theres wasnt so much cup at my tail of spence that my arms push the bra forward and off. This bra is meant for a much wider person- the straps are wide and the wires are halfway around my side, about 4 fingers away from my root. Similar issues to the 8408 I just tried in this size. I think this may be a better volume than the 34J in this style, but hard to tell with other fit issues.
If I could shorten the straps more, I think the volume would be a little small -maybe because the wire is about 4 fingers away from my root, it's actually far enough on my side it doesn't hurt my rib though. Oddly not uncomfortable for that wide of cups. its a little close to my armpits, but not extremely like the K cups in the 8408. Not sure if daily wear would irritate my tail of spence or not. Im spilling out the middle a little since this cup size is a little small for me (Im between H/HH or I guess j/K in this) boobs are pushing the band down fell like shorter straps would help. straps are also pretty wide set for me. Can I talk about how much I love that this band has 6 hooks? its soo secure feeling. I really love these bands. I wish the cup shape was a bit less of a mis-match.

About two cup sizes too small and a band size too big, but otherwise a really excellent and beautiful lounge bra. Highly recommend it. Very soft and comfortable.
Very soft and comfortable, but would only work with perhaps more like 10 inches or left difference between underbust and bust measurement. The lift is pretty excellent for a wireless bra.
Great bra quality with a wide back for smoothing. The straps are adjusted in the front, so no more asking for help if they change throughout the day. Lined enough, but not too much. Material is nice and comfortable. It's too big now, but when it fit properly it felt a bit snug to me. Supports and has underwire.
The balconette bras by Cacique are wonderful. I have loved them for years. While they have extended their size availability, I will soon size out of their options again. Brand new, this bra fits on the tightest set of hooks. The straps were way too long but I took this to a tailor and had at least 2" taken out. Now the straps are barely short enough. I should have had the tailor take out more of the length.
Wow, I can't believe how tight this band is, I would have to wear a 34 in this style. So go up one band size from your usual. The cup is one size too large for me. So ideally, I would try this in a 34C, which they do have now, but they don't do exchanges. This would fit a 30F US most likely. The cup fabric is slightly stretchy so the depth actually stretches to about 9.3" or so, the measurements in the data table are non-stretched depth.
I had only recently started to look into proper fitting so I hadn't realized that the lettering grade Cacique uses runs larger.
I also find strange how constricting the band is - I need to use a band extender simply to get it on. I'm almost certain it isn't a 36, despite how the label reads.
----- UPDATE: With breast tissue migrating back into place and a bit of weight loss, the band now fits without the use of an extender. That being said, I am currently comfortable in 32 and 34 bands (Curvy Couture, Curvy Kate, Parfait, and Panache) so this Cacique model may potentially be too tight in the band. ...As far as I can tell from their sizing charts, Lane Bryant (the parent company of the Cacique Intimates line) doesn't seem to operate with the "add 4 inches" sizing system so sister sizing up once may be fine.
I've altered the shape of the underwires, sewn the inner ends of the wire channels together, and sewn the underwires into place as they had the tendency to shift to the outer edges of the cups, leaving the innermost points to dig into my sternum and underbust. I've also sewn an eye-hook closure into the cups, an inch above the gore, as an option for a more dramatic appearance. Lastly, I've sewn the straps so they are no longer adjustable and constantly lengthening when I don't want them to.

I've had this bra for quite some time now, and even though its now too small for me, it was my favorite bra when I was able to wear it. It was the most comfortable and supportive bra I ever had. Even after losing weight and going down a few band sizes, it was still comfortable and supportive enough to wear lounging around the house. It's not the prettiest bra out there, but it gets the job done.
I think the cup fit would be okay if you get the correct cup/band size. The side wires reach a bit farther than I'd like into the armpits. The bra itself is very supportive and the smoothing/lightly padded cups are a good, rounded shape, not weirdly angled like some lower end bras can do.
This bra fits me pretty well, the lower gore makes it much more comfortable than my other bras. The fabric is a bit abrasive, but I haven't yet washed it and I'm hoping as I wear it it will become softer. The cup is touch too tall for my breast and I wish the strap connected a little further in to give a little more space in the top corner of the cup for my armpit. So far this is the most comfortable bra I have. I don't constantly pull at it during the day. However, I feel the band is a little loose (I tried sister sizing, but they didn't have it in the store and when I tried a sister size in another brand it didn't fit in the cups); with the looser band I do have to re-adjust at least once during the day.
Love this style bra but measurements have changed. Tried this one even though I'm a G and it was a sad fail. Cups way too small and band still too big.
This bra is very comfortable and light; however, it is a little lean on support. It is completely unlined and feels like wearing a t-shirt with underwire.
The bra is comfortable to wear, gives a great shape, and offers good support. This was probably one of my most comfortable every day bras when this size fit.
The bra is very sexy and looks great on the mannequin, but it's a terrible fit for me. I tried it on in 38G, 40G, and finally a 38H (my correct size in this brand) and none of them looked right on me. The bra is really better suited to someone without center/inner fullness, who needs help getting a nice lift. On me, there was too much quadding even though I finally got the correct size. The bra is too square or rectangular at the sides and then the center looked wrong because my boobs were overflowing the cups, but not in the way the bra intended.
If you ...have close-set breasts or a lot of center fullness/even fullness, don't buy this bra. But, if you have splayed breasts that are very separate and you need help getting good cleavage, this bra will give you that.
I really wanted to like it (which is why I bothered to exchange it so many times), but it's just all wrong for me. I bought the matching girdle/garter and undies, too. Unfortunately, this will be a bedroom-only bra because the shape is so weird, I can't wear it under clothes. I bought this after throwing out my back. I wanted something comfortable that could be worn all day. When I bought it, I didn't know that I had gone up a cup size (I just thought the no wire was cut differently. Now I'm between 38H and 40G at Cacique and 38GG to 38H in UK brands. I'm happy with the Cacique bra. It's thick enough not to show your nipples through clothes and really easy to wear for long hours. I don't always like the shape this bra gives me, but it does give center projection.
The bra does have a "cooling" factor though in the 90 degree ...summer heat of Los Angeles, I still sweat a little. It doesn't help that because it's a no-wire, the gore doesn't even come close to tacking, so my boobs are pressed together. I just wish there were more color and print options for no-wire and that they didn't run out of G & H sizes so fast.
Update: This bra is still very comfy. I probably could've gone with a 38H because there is a slight wrinkling at the top of the cup, but not enough to alter the fit. I think for now, I might have to stick with no-wire bras from Cacique because I'm having fit issues with the wire styles. Their no-wires seem to be well made and provide good lift. I like to wear this bra for working out or for days when I need a break from my wire bras. Read more 144 more words
I'd say if you don't like your bands tight, go up 2 bands and down two cups (or more, seriously, in larger sizes their cups are ginormous)
