Panache Harmony & full-cups on full-on-top boobs in general...

I recently spotted some Harmony Full Cup Underwire bras super cheap on Ebay. Since I'm getting along very well with Panache bras in general, I was curious how this one will fit me.
I grabbed 30JJ and 30K.
When I got the bras, I was surprised on how tight the band runs. I had no idea. I would actually need a 32 band. I can barely close the 30 band and have to wear it with an extender to be able to breathe. Normally I would not complain about a tight band, but this one does not have much stretch so it feels constricting. Stretched to the max the band measures 78-79cm. (my comfy loose inhaled underbust measurement is 82cm)

Now on to the good:
I really love the fabric. It feels smooth, soft and very comfy. The bra feels very supportive & stable.
Gore lies flat and the wires are a tiny bit too wide but not as worse as I feared.
The shape is a bit meh however.
The 30JJ does give me slight quadraboob. The top-edge does not really cut in, the whole top section of the cups do push my boobs flat and push them up & out of the cups.

Then I tried the 30JJ with 2 extenders and took in the center gore: it suddenly fits much better :)

The 30K is a decent fit, but worn with extender I soon get some empty fabric on bottom of the cups.
I can get away with the volume the bottom section of both Harmonys allows (since the cups run quite shallow) but I need the space of a 30K on top.

See my comparison picture of all full-cups I tried besides Andorra Full Cup:

Bravissimo Linear Rose Bra: much too small, bad bad fit, top of my boobs squished flat.
Bravissimo Fleur Bra: (sized up 1 band and 2 cup sizes) decent fit, but I had to tighten the straps to the max to get a decent shape
Harmony 30K, ok with extender, decent fit of the cups
Harmony 30JJ, top section too small, bottom section would fit me.

Conclusion: full-cups are probably not the best choice for my round, full-on-top boobs. I either have to size up 1-2 cups to get enough space on top or live with quadraboob :/ I won't buy more (Harmony) full-cups but I try to make those I already got a decent fit. It's not like my drawer is overstuffed with well-fitting bras.

  • It's very interesting!

Now was the 32J Andorra you got from me too small or just a bad fit? I'm still curious about whether we would fit into the same Andorra size :D

I also wonder what constitutes a fullcup. Because it might be fullcups are what I should wear. Everything pulling the boobs flat are a good thing for me :D

  • Well it sure beats Bravissimo bras even though it does push the top part of the boob down. I think you should stick to altering Ariza, I think it's your best fitting bra at the moment?
Speaking of which, I put up pictures, not sure if they have been aproved. I think I'm 2 cups down from you at the moment.
And Branarchist I really think you should try ariza, from how it fits me, I'd say andorra was based on ariza! Alisa, am I wrong?
