    Hasn't set fit

Finally! A bra that reaches around my root and actually is shaped the way my boobs are.

My boobs are teardrop shaped but with a wider top, full on top but acting full on bottom compared to bras since they are teardrop shaped and migrated. My ribcage is curved so my boobs also naturally faces east and west.

This bra fits the bill adding coverage where I need it which is practially everywhere since my root is huge and I have migrated my boobs the madness away.

I do have to alter it a lot to fit me but I am quite sure it will actually fit. ...

My main complaints lays in the band; it's not only extremely tight but also very wide under the wires so it's almost like wearing a mini longline. I am almost thinking about cutting it off since it pokes my stomach terribly.

I have so far altered the gore. I know I will need to move the straps because they are outside of my shoulders. But as far as I can tell that should give me a bra that actually does fit.

The material is very very soft against the skin. I also like the so called nude color even if it doesn't look nude on my pinkish skin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

It sounds like you can make something out of it :))
And I have warned you about the band... :/ I don't know if this have even been done (but why not do your user name justice :D) but you could exchange the band from the non stretchy part of the wings with a Freya (or another band depends on which bra you have around to slaughter) band and see how it goes?! I mean change a whole band. Crazy, no? :D

    • The problem is in the front where my stomach is poked so I think I might cut it off in the bottom of the gore to somewhere around the vertical seam and turn it partially into a partial banded bra (pun intended) or something. Adding another band in the back would also be my style so thanks for that tip :D

And maybe also I will get a 32JJ to compare with :)

    • before cutting it off, consider my method: folding it outwards and fix is with a few stitches.
      32jj is aviable for 0.99£ on ebay ;) I though about trying a 32K for science :D

    • Oh doesn't it make it bulky under clothes? But then again maybe not. Is it the BIHAL Tease Me alteration? How do do it when the gore is already taken in? The bra will become extremely thick there?

I'll check on Ebay for the 32JJ then :D Also I still kind of want a larger Ariza.

    • :D do you want a 32K Ariza too? I'm so curious. I don't recall BIHALs tease me... oh yes I think it's that one.
It depends if you are wearing a superthin super tight t-shirt but I had no issues so far. Just sew a bit "carefully".

    • Ok, I'll try it. And yes I want a 32K Ariza or even 34JJ if they have better bands. And I want the old version :D

    • I LOVE the old version!! It's so much better imo. Newer versions cause me more problems though they are still good bras.
here we have 2 old Arizas in 32K one for you and one for me:D :D

Too bad they only ship to UK but we could ask if someone from the UK would order it and sent it to us?
I just love that colorway <3

    • I don't know what it is with me and gold. I just don't seem to like it anymore. I used to but nowadays I almost cannot stand it. I would want this version: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/ariza-balconnet-bra-5051/28K/ That's old as well, right?

    • Yes it's an old one. Oh want this one too:D But almost all of them are sold out :( What about this beauty? It's the old cut.
      http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271090441241?var=570122552129&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

    • That's pretty yes. But how to know the clarity of that color? :D Is it the soft version or the clear version? So confused. A muted pink will not look as good on me as a clearer one.

    • I think the Harmony Balconette is a good style for you too.

  2. This bra originally did not fit me when I tried it on a few days ago--I was all puffed up and that didn't translate well to trying on clothing. I am glad that I gave it a second chance because it fits nicely, if a little different shape than I am used to (it gives a slightly dished shape to my boobs, which is okay, but different from my preferred sloped/natural shape).

While the lace is no where near as nice and soft as in my Fantasie Elodie bra, this is strong and does not cut into my upper boob. The lace is a little scratchy, and I ... am hoping that goes away with more washings. The underwires are long, they do not hit high enough for them to cut into my underarms, but it does border on being too high in the middle of my chest. I do have to say that the straps are too widely set for me, but that is a regular problem I run into. I also wish that the straps were a little more padded, like in the Tango bra line. I like that the swirly embroidery does not show through clothing, even under clingy tops, and that the design is not flowery. I did have to remove the little swirly designs from the middle (it was falling off) and from the shoulders (showing through most clothes).

I had to re-sew some of the stitching where there was a factory defect (band stiching), but it was a 10 minute fix and fit the price tag on amazon of $20. I have a feeling that the construction overall is good, but not quite as good as the Fantasie Sharon. For instance, the fabric is not sewn very straight, and the seams are not clipped/hidden as nicely as in the Fantasie Bra

*Update* yet more of the band to restich that I missed before. I think that the thread/stitch they used was flawed, like a too-tight backer thread on the machine.*

I wish the underwires were a little more padded, but this is typical for most bras, and not bad at all for a typical bra. I also wish that it had actual side stays rather than just a plain seam. Along with that, a three hook design would be better on this design than the two hook closure.

I have a feeling that this bra is going to stretch quite a bit, which would be okay, since it fits nice and snug on the first hook now. I will see how it does for a travel bra since it is easy to quickly wash, and--even more importantly--quickly dry. Living in a desert means that is a great quality on my list of ideals and is why I don't often try for molded bras.

I think this will hold up fairly well if it doesn't stretch too much, especially for the price.

This is a great supportive bra if you get the right fit. However it is full cup so the lace pattern pokes out over the neckline of most of my tops and it doesn't give you any sort of nice cleavage. I find the cups a little too wide but stitching the gore together makes a world of difference (I have close set breasts). The colour is a beautiful wine red and the lace is pretty. The straps are perfect - not too big, not too narrow, soft lining and shorten/lengthen enough.

Very firm band, I need to wear an extender, the under wire is very painful under my arm, but it doesn't always jab me.

I don't have quad boob with this bra, but the cup feels too small. The wire does not lie against the ribcage under the breast, it is held away by breast tissue. The top of the cup outside the strap rides too high and is uncomfortable, but most bras bother me that way. I've barely worn it, so don't know about longevity of the bra.

Lovely soft material. It's not quite right in fit for me, the band is a bit loose and the cups a bit big, but I found the 32HH the best fit I tried - the 30J was far too small overall and the 30JJ was OK in the band but huge in the cup

    • I wore this bra briefly today, had to take it off after only half an hour as the underwire was so uncomfortable, it hurt under my boobs and poked under my arms. The wrinkling at the top of the cups was visible through clothes
