  1. Unleash Half Cup Bra (ST2601)

I got this set today from Brastop and I'm in love! Fit wise it's not the greatest, but I expected that (I sister size up, then also went down a cup size). It's beautiful though.

I haven't measured yet, but I have a feeling that the bra runs large in the band. Even on the tightest hooks, it is noticeably loose on my. The cups seem about true to size. They're wide and shallow but not as wide as I had expected which is a plus. It's also open enough on top that I don't have too much noticeable quadding. The straps are also quite long. They are fully ... adjustable, but I have to adjust them more than halfway. It isn't an issue for me, but I usually don't have to shorten my straps much at all, so this could be an issue for some people.

The briefs are nice and are the first pair of high waisted bottoms that are truly high waisted on me (they hit right at my natural waist). One thing to note though is that I generally have trouble in this area due to being 5'9, so if your high waisted briefs are usually high enough these will likely be too tall for you. They also run quite big. Based on their size chart, I should be a size XL (which is consistent with my normal bottom size). Due to availability, I sized down to a Large. The size L is still larger than I'd like them to be. They're baggy in the leg holes and also in the top part of the back. There is a little cutout on the back and the elastic surrounding it doesn't touch my body in most places.

Despite the fit issues (most of which I anticipated) I still love this set. As I didn't really intend for this to be for every day wear, the fit is not overly important to me and I'm glad that I was finally able to find a leather look bra in (almost) my size.

    • Any pictures? I'm curious about how fake the leather looks in person.

    • Veritas Ill try to get some up either tonight or tomorrow morning!

    • I got a few up, but the lighting isn't the greatest. I'll try again when I get some daylight

    • Holy, looks much too small in the cups.

You look super hot in this. Great bedroom bra. ;)

Dvrgrl812 It is one cup volume smaller than I generally wear (they stop at a HH and I couldn't realistically go up two band sizes) and its also a bad shape for me as well. Pulling it out of the package I had a "wow, the cups are so flat" moment because all of my other bras have much more projection. But I think that the Scantilly line is mostly supposed to be boudoir type stuff so I think that it is kind of supposed to have less coverage than most bras.

cupandahalf Thank you! I've been looking for a leather type bra for quite a while so I was pretty excited when I saw this pop up on Brastop's Facebook page :)

Regularly wear a Curvy Kate 34HH plunge or Polish brand bras. The pleather makes it hard to get on. tiny straps are useless for adding support and afraid i'd brake getting it on. velvet feels bad and looks odd next to pleather, both seem cheaper quality materials than I'd hoped for. I tried this on with loosest hooks and the decorative front straps. The cups are too separate- pushing the top of the gore off my chest and causing the bottom to dig into my sternum. wires are off to the side a lot, cups have some gaping at the top but overflow in the middle, but i ... think this is my size, arm skin sticks to pleather, decorative straps are a weird feeling on my neck- they could use to cross lower and be less of a choker. band seems a little tight but I can fit fingers under and it seems like it may just be less stretchy but the right size. center definitely cuts into my sternum more than most curvy kate bras (I have a sensitivity issue on my sternum), outer wires are a little too far on my side but don't seem to hurt in a five minute try on at least, I definitely have some of the cup just covering my side with about 2 finger widths away from my root, and some of my tissue spilling out center front.
Tried taking off the decorative straps and the fit got worse. the straps became too separate, the cups moved more east west and I spilled over the top/center edge of the cup too much. I dont think sizing up in the cup would help much, as there's cup Im not filling on the outer sides.
Sewing quality seemed great, the copper notions (hooks and such) were really nice. The pleather and velvet seemed somewhat cheaper than I expected. The velvet semed to have a whiter tone than the pleather and I wish they color matched it to be a richer color.
comnfort: the band seemed firm and the decorative straps seemed to want to ride up towards my neck. Other wise it felt comfy. Unfortunately, I spilled out centerfront enough that my appearance in it makes it unwearable.

This bra is a nightmare, although a very sexy one. Fits poor, yet i bought it twice, since finding anything sexy in my size range is like an April fool's joke in my country. I bought both sets since i was desperate to find something completely sheer. Band is too elastic so i needed a 32 yet cups are way too shallow so i settled with a 34 https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> i managed gore to tack after i altered the wires. I read an article about how bending wide wires to a narrower position gives depth. So, voila, at least chartreuse tacks, but still i have to deal with the wrinkles created on the top of the cups. Well, at least i bought one of them 70% off price https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> so experiments don't hurt me that much.
This bra's measurements have been altered
I had to bend the wires.

Nice bra, but i need a 32HH. Cup is big, band is loose, so it's going back. I must repeat that in ck plunge bras better size down a cup and keep your usual band size.

Too big and it wrinkles. CK plunge bras come true to size, so go down a cup size. I am usually 32J, so 34HH is my sister size but it didn't fit me. I bought the same bra in a 32HH and its perfect.
